I have got two car chargers, the first keeps the battery at the same level without it going down, but dies not charge it up, so i bought another one which charges my Bluetooth GPS as well, but this one does not charge the battery even though the charging light turns on, and it displays that its charging in the power applet, but the battery loses power and every so often the phone switches off, i can not find out why!
Does anyone have any ideas?
sounds to me like your battery is knackard........... is it ok with a mains adaptor?? 8)
It works perfectly with the charger on the cradle, the battery life is very good. does anyone know the exact wiring for power for the blueangel as both my adaptors are wired differently
Haven't use TP for a while, try to turn it on yesterday, saw a warning said battery is too low and TP needs charge. Charged overnight (9 hours), now can't turned on anymore, no light, no warning. Did I brick the TP?
ways tried to boot:
power button > 30sec
power + home more than 15 sec.
power + home more 10 times
power + volume up + home > 30 sec
It doesnt sound like you did anything. Did you use the OEM charger and cable, are they known to work. I would guess that he battery is dead. Check your charger with another device and try again. Plug it into your computer for a couple hours...
Since you didn't elaborate too much, my guess is that you didn't try to charge it with the stock charger and cable. The touchpad pretty much wont charge without it or the Touchstone. I've even tried an ipad 2.1A charger and it didnt do jack to the TP, over an 8hr period. Matter of fact, I think it drained the batt even more.

Also if you are using the HP charger make sure that the end of the plug did not turn or come loose. The end with the two prongs that goes into the wall can twist off to change the type of socket it will work with.
What charger are you using? Stock HP, Wall Plug or Touchstone? USB cables can be abused to the point of having intermittent connect. Non-HP chargers may not have the 2.5 amp source. Watch the rotation of the AC prongs. Check your charger against other USB devices.

I am using the stock HP wall charger. I have two TPs, one was flashed cm9, the other still runs webos 3.0.4 ( OTA upgraded ), and rearly used after then. The charger is used daily basis for the cm7(now is cm 9) one.
Will try the ways mentioned above. Thanks for all your replies.

Hi All,
i removed battery from my rooted android tablet, now i would like it power on when i connect a power supply to battery wire.
Now when i connect the power supply, i have to click the power button to power on the device. I found a work around to replace the battery charging icon with a script, and the device power on when you connect the charger, but i think it works only if battery is connected.
Is there a not hardware solution?
When I connect my LG L90 D410 phone with Android 5.0.1 to charging with the travel power adapter (output: 5.0V) that came with the phone, it charges fine most of the time, sometimes it heats up the phone. Also when I connect the phone to my car charger, the phone heats up quickly every time.
However, the heating does not happen when it is connected to my laptop high or low powered USB 2.0 ports.
So, I want to check the power output of the chargers that I use with my phone.
Please suggest if there is any app that can measure the power input the phone is getting from the charger that is connected to it.
Try out Ampere in the play store.
