So I rooted my Moto G Power. Of course updates fail now. What do I have to freeze to stop it from trying to update everyday?
I have titanium Backup Pro to Freeze, I thought I had the right service frozen, but I guess not.
So I now noticed that titanium backup pro can't freeze motorola software update 29.00.051
What app can?

I still see apps in market that are frozen. If a update appears for a frozen app, do I need to defrost before updating it?

i dont think so. I usually keep maps frozen so it's not running. That app updates rather frequently and it defrosts itself and becomes active once updated.
There is an option in TiB though, not sure if it's only in pro or not, that keeps apps from showing up in the market to update if you freeze it
any one know a way to stop my mopho from updating it's self? i'm on the version of the SW that lets me keep my FB contacts synced and i would like to stay there. i have root, no custom rom/boot.
Any ideas?
You should be able to use Titanium Backup's app "freeze" feature to freeze "updater".
Is there away to disable this upgrade pop-up? I will probably load CM on my phone at some point, but I don't plan on doing anything in the next week to two, but this damned pop-up shows up repeatedly day and night.

ETA: Thanks. I've frozen the updater in Titanium Backup
Use Titanium backup to freeze Updater
Freeze com.motorola.blur.updater
I used Titanium Backup to freeze some applications (the ones "shipped") on a Motorola XT311.
Then I restored factory settings, but the fronzen applications remained frozen. I cannot see them any more, not event Titanium Backup can.
What can I do? I need the on screen keyboard that came with the phone...
I was facing exactly same issue last week when I froze system app Music 1.2

My apps do not appear in titanium as frozen. They are nowhere to be found.
Hey guys,
I'm a fun of backupping (root) my apps and freezing them when not in use, and this is why I always used Titanium Backup. Sadly, it's not getting updated anymore and would like to switch to a newer app.
Anything to recommend?
Thanks
I came here with the same question in mind. The app has become incredibly slow lately.
Neo Backup is not a bad backup program tbh. Its on F-Droid.
