So I was able to make a custom recovery but it's a little rough around the edges . It boots up fine but I can't get decryption to work. I've been trying everything possible I can find to fix it but no matter what, i can't access data after leaving recovery mode. I'm tired of formatting my phone just for it to not work lmfao. If anybody knows what they are doing and can lend a hand with getting decryption to work please let me know. Here's the link to my build tree https://github.com/jbhacktheplanet/lenovo_doom

So, I've got an iRola DX752 that I'm trying to make a custom CWM recovery for using the online builder. But, everything I put in the files and let it do it's building thing and I click on the build server link, all I get is a 404 error!
So, is this thing not working anymore or am I just doing something wrong?
Also, I've tried modifying the fstab to get everything to mount properly for my tablet(original issue), so any help there would be greatly appreciated as well!
Same here. I keep uploading my image, and it doesn't do anything or a get the 404 on the build server.
First off, if I have done anything wrong by starting this thread, please correct me instead of bashing. I ltried simply rooting and installing twrp recovery on my lg vs450pp. Somehow I managed to get twrp recovery, but in the process I completely erased all internal storage, no OS. Then whole trying to save it, I flashed the stock recovery, and no longer have twrp. Can anyone tell me dedinitively if it is fixable or if I'm just up creek without a paddle? If it is fixable, knowing how to would be great, but at this point I really just need to know if it is first. Giant thank you to anyone who takes the time to try to help me.
Title says it all, I already posted in the cm12.1 thread but I can't get my phone to not be encrypted. I would seriously appreciate some help..

@invisiblek thanks for keeping this device alive along with others. I am about to ship off to bootcamp and I was going to give my DNA to my mom. Well, I am trying to get my device to decrypt but for the life of me I can't. I encrypted inside of CM12.1 a month or two ago and half way into a reboot i need to do my password to boot. I have reset the phone from phone settings, and even tried wiping EVERYTHING including internal storage inside of TWRP yet half way into a pure clean flash of CM12.1 (sideload zips from recovery using adb) It STILL wants me to do my password and phone says it is encrypted in settings. I even wiped everything (again) and obviously bootlooped into htc logo until i rebooted into recovery where twrp asked for my password to unencrypt...lol I am not trying to complain but I don't want her to deal with the super long reboot and having to remember my password everytime it tries to boot. I would really appreciate any help!
Edit:
Just flashed TWRP 2.8.7.1 from mdmower hoping it would actually kill the encryption but didn't work.

Hello all.
I used to mess around a lot with development. Just re discovered that passion. Only problem is..................Ive forgotten 90% of what I knew lol
Now I used to be able to cook a ROM with my eyes closed. But it seems all the methods I used to use or forgot arent working. Maybe missing a step?
I've seen rooted su img install for this device X10-V2-5.1-amw-TWRP_SuperSU.img so it must be possible. And an early tree build.
So what I need help with is either pulling stock base from my phone, factory image, or TWRP back up.
Ive tried XDA Android Development Suit and trying to pull to zip fails, factory image says not valid, and when trying to extract TWRP backup it fails.
Thats where Im at ATM, hoping to start adding chains one day if possible.
Well anyway
Take it easy all
Hello,
I tried flashing a custom ROM on my samsung galaxy S7 (by the way I've already done this successfully, although I clearly don't know as much as I should).
Firstly I was getting the Error 7 and "your device is ." I did fix that by deleting lines in the updater-script of the ROM. It seems that this has worked, but I couldn't get out of twrp to test it. At first I thought it was an error with my ROM, so I just tried loading the backup I'd made before, but I still couldn't get out of twrp. And there I am, I can't go in download mode, or even power off, it just puts me back in twrp.
I tried updating twrp from a .img but it just didn't work and I'm still in 3.3.1-0. Very strange.
I don't know much of the science behind this, please explain me, I don't want to brick my phone...
Thanks to anyone who tries to help.
Nevermind ?, I just did an adb reboot, got out of recovery, and my backup was applied so... I guess I won't install that custom ROM. I don't know why I had this problem, but I solved it anyway.
