I would like to know if you guys facing the same issue as i mentioned in the title? When i share hotspot from my computer, any phone devices can't connect to it [ remain obtaining IP address then it shows saved and repeat again ]
While before upgrading to this version, my hotspot works just fine and other phone also can connect to it smoothly.
I hope that anyone that know the solution kindly share the method to solve this issue with me, thanks in advance

Don't know if anyone can help.
I have had a few models and upgraded roms a lot with usb and sd cards.
But now i am trumped ! I see it is a common problem what i have with a twist.
I can sync with WMDC fine and copy data etc but when i try to upgrade any rom whether radio rom or even official rom just as it goes into bootloader screen it disconnects and installs a driver what is too late.
Most people can sort this by unchecking the box in the windows mobile settings tab [ ENABLE ADVANCED NETWORK FUNCTIONALITY ]
But the problem i have is there is no usb to pc tab in my system setting's with this.
I would be greatful if someone knows what to do.

I want to connect my android mobile with my Pc so that i can use internet on my android v4.0.1 (Icecream Sandwich). So i request you kindly give me a link to the some softares or some thread which can solve my probem.i used the Wifi Hostspot but my android stucks on the obtaining ip address but when i search for the problem on the internet. The solution was that to delete the files from the /data/misc/dhcp .Therefore i rooted my device but still the files are not deleting .I tried everythng but nothing works also the USB reverse thethering didn't worked for me.So kindly give me a solution so that i can use my PC internet on my android.

I want to develop an application which runs a Http server without any external modem i.e. both server and wifi tethering should be in same device.
Example lets say android devices A, B and C are there. Now device A will be tethering (wifi hotspot enabled) as well server has to run in it. So that device B and C can connect to it forming a client which can access the server. How do i do this. Pls help...
I tried using server ultimate app, but ended without success since it is working only when i'm connected with external wifi modem/mobile data.
Pls let me know if there are any application exist like my requirement.
Please provide me solution, I'm in need of very urgent.

Hi there, I am running my own VPN Server and just wanted to add OpenVPN to my Android phone. Is there any way to use OpenVPN automatically when connected to WIFI but not to use it on 3G/4G ?
So far I tried OpenVPN connect on android but didn't see any settings for this.

Hello, today i tried to setup remote shares that you can find under storage in settings i read tutorial on this website http://unsolicitedbutoffered.blogspot.com/2015/01/unsolicited-question-can-sony-xperia.html
So first of all, my remote shares setup menu is different (see screenshots and if possible upload screenshots of your menu so i can see if its maybe because i run android 4.3)
and when i click add host it dosent ask me if i want to setup windows or sftp, it just opens menu where i have to enter host info (this how it should ask me windows or sftp https://sasapetrovicblog.files.wordpress.com/2014/11/39.jpg?w=168&h=300 but it never asks me)
I tired to setup using both windows and freesshd software but both failed so i need help with two things:
1 can someone explain me how to make remote share on windows and then set it up to work with my Z Ultra
2 can someone help me to setup freesshd to work with my phone, i created user in software and entered all info in my phone but it always gives "could not connect to 192.168.1.2 please make sure that you have entered correct information for this host", i was able to connect to mini sftp server (http://www.coreftp.com/server/) but i want to use freesshd
