Hi to all! I just received my Galaxy s23 Ultra.
In my Galaxy S21 Ultra I had set up different notification sounds for each of a number of my apps but I noticed that I'm not given this option with S23 Ultra??
Help anybody? Thanks!

I am having trouble with applications not showing notifications e.g. whatsapp, tapatalk etc.I was wondering if anyone has had any similar issues on the Android 4.4.2 (nc9)
They only show notifications when I go into the app.
That's an odd one... I'm assuming by NC9 this is referring to the i9505 S4?
Tell us more:
Are you rooted?
Custom rom?
Any Xposed or Notification bar mods?
Privacy mode enabled?
SMS/Call notifications work?
Does this happen on wifi and data?
Any notification replacement apps like for banner notifications, Halo, etc?
Lockscreen mods that have notifications enabled?

Sorry I must have missed it. I posted this in the S4 help thread and it wasn't answered there, I must have got the tabs in my browser mixed up.
I'm rooted on Omega V28 but it happens regardless of Rom or whether I'm rooted or not.
Calls/Texts show. Twitter/facebook/whatsapp don't
Happens on both wifi/data
No lock screen mods, notification apps/xposed mods or anything to do with notifications.

Why are search field and text color both white in Titanium Backup, like who thought that'd be a good idea? I can't see if I mistyped anything or not. Is there a way to change this?

This also happened to me when I changed phone to Samsung Galaxy. I did not have such issue on Z3 from Sony,

Did either of you ever find a solution? I'm assuming it's a rare issue since this is the first thread I've finally run across with the same issue. For reference, I'm running an Exynos Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) on SuperMan ROM 2.5. I can't recall if this issue happened on stock since that was so long ago and it's not a big enough issue to go to the trouble of finding out.
I'm having the same problem with my new Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Just rooted it yesterday, and when I downloaded Titanium Backup to restore my apps, I found that the font color in the search field was white. Been looking for a fix all day!

Just updated my ROM on the S7. Same exact issue.
White font on white background for TV search
I've had the same problem on my S6 S7 S8 with Samsung based ROM
same exact issue with Galaxy Project Rom on a S7 device. A bit annoying !

Hi there! I just updated to Android pie and it's pretty cool so far except for one problem
My WhatsApp notifications are always "x messages from y chats" instead of being "message from:x and then the message" if I remember correctly
Basically the system just bundles them for no reason on the pop up notification but if you see it from the notification window then it's normal
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Also confused by these updates. Why was this implemented? It defeats the purpose of a effective notification.
I've got an S10+ with One UI 1.1 as well, on the S10 i can see all message notification banners and the previews... i have no idea why it's only like this on the s9+.
It doesn't happen in other apps, such as tested in wechat and i get banners with message preview without it being bundled.
Dose S21 comes with the Edge Lighting？I cant find it on my S21...... can someone help please.

My S21+ Doesnt have it either so maybe One UI 3 removed it?
i see it under settings notifications brief pop up settings
Is there a way to auto expand notifications on the notification shade of the S23U? This is a question that gets asked with every new Samsung phone release since at least the N10 without a satisfactory answer.

For some unfortunate stupidity Good Lock is not available in all countries. Only some separate modules are available globally.

I can find it in the galaxy store and install.iy but then it does not appear in Goodlock or anywhere else.
Never mind, it is in the Make up panel. Such a stupid UI
This seems to expand the quick panel not the notifications. Or am I missing something

Yeah that's what I'm experiencing too
I know what you're looking for but don't think there is a native function for OneUI (or most other phones for that matter)
I recall the only way to do this in the past was a custom ROM or (at the time) it was either xposed or magisk, can't remember.
