Im rooted on stock TQ1A.230205.002 with radioactive kernel.
How do I enable fast charging? It worked on one rom but I can't remember which one. I have force fast charging enabled on fkm but still no luck
Everything I've read says fast charging isn't supported. 18w is the max even on the official 30w charger.

Someone use qualcomm fast charger? Is it work on G3?
it works but does not uses qualcomms quickcharge 2.0 but it does charges my g3 a little bit faster than my stock charger.i am using aukeys quick charger.
^same here, aukey 1 port quickcharge 2
the Lg G3 is a funny case, the Snapdragon 801 supports QC 2.0, meaning it can charge at 7 and 9v.
BUT... Lg disabled the native SoC charge/battery controller and used a external Texas instruments one which removes QC 2.0 capability.
I mresured it and more or less the Lg G3 charges at 1400mA at 5v even when using a Aukey QC 2.0 charger.
That really piss me off so much when changing from note 3 to g3. Note 3 even charge 2-3 times quicker than g3.
When i plug in the charger on my note 3, and still using it while charging, took me around 60-90 mins to get full.
But with my g3, took me around 180-260 mins to get full when using it at same time.
Cant understand at all, so freaking slow =.=
I thought those quick charge can fckup your battery ?
Im using a Quickcharger from Anker with a USB from Anker too and its sooo much faster like the stock. Cant say if its fast as possible, but under normal usage while loading it takes me 40-50mins. Without using 20mins i think.

I use the real QC fast charge 2.0 and it does work. You have to enable it on the kernel level to fully utilize it. I am using a custom AOSP ROM with the the Nebula Kernel, and Kernel Adiutor to enable the fast charging.
A word of warning, however: Do not leave it on the charger after it's charged and do not use the phone while its fast charging, it will overheat the battery and possibly ruin it, or shut off the phone, or both.
Guys, what if I use Galaxy S6 quick charger to recharge my G3? It will work?
here on stock rom v30c using some Samsung 5v 2A charger from 7% to 100% in 80-90 minutes. fast enough for me
I'm looking to increase the charge speed of my phone with a QC3.0 charger, so I was wondering if any kernels have increased charging speed.
Try Radon Kernel 2.9 .
I am using it and my RN3 charges fast using qc charger 2.0

I'm using 3.0 of Radon, he mentions having QC "hacks" disabled for a while..
I just wonder if a samsung charger can increase the speed of charging. I am on NITROGEN OS stock kernel.
I have the original charger, a samsung charger and an apple ipad charger.
Should i charge it with the apple one for faster charging? Or samsung ?
Try both. Use the one that charges it the quickest
Doesent make a diff, try radon or agni kernal for fast charging!

If you are using kenzo, although the chip supports fast charging, Xiaomi hasn't integrated the extra chips required for fast charging since its a budget phone but anyways u can use custom kernels like radon or agni to boost the charge time!! *USE THE KERNEL AT YOUR OWN RISK, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM*
Like if I helped u, I'll appreciate that!
It's foolish to do so, you will end up harming battery due to heating
My battery always change very often when its charging from rapid charge to slow charge. Ane help?
Hi just curious if the Qualcomm quick charge 3.0 is supported by the device.
Super charge is obviously supported - tested graduately increasing from [email protected] all the way to [email protected] while it says super charging
Power delivery I've tested its working fine, [email protected] while it says quick charging.
But I got no quick charge charger at the moment to test, can some one test and confirm a quick charge charger please? Does it recognize it? What power it gets?
Thanks
P.S:
Also tested different cables for the super charging:
It will recognize the super charging much slower than original cable (which says super charge immediately), and it will only go up to [email protected], fyi..
It might write super charge, but it actually is charging 18w rather than 40 (38)w.
I've noticed that the phone doesn't seem to have Ambient Display working - it's present as an option in the settings but never really shows up.
Also, I've not tried 18W fast charging since I don't have a fast charger - would it work if I got the adapter? I've heard only upto 10W is supported on the 7.2
Try the latest update. It's working.
