i need really help.
while flashing my xda2 the error 112 (usb connection) occurs. the device was in bootloader mode.
suddenly, after some tries (different roms) the bootloader disappaers.
now the screen is blank, no led works , nothing goes.
what can i make now?
what software do i need (beside the roms and the himaupgradeut.exe)
how do i have to do it?

If anyone can help me I just brick my ameo. I download olipro unlocker followed steps had everything done but after i finished the 1step it wont boot up again its just dead. tried hard reset alot of times wont even go pass it . it just light green.Pls help
Can you enter the Bootloader mode?
Press Camera Button (completely) and hit the reset button at the same time.
i know yor problem press cambutton and powerbutton for at same time so you will come to the bootloader modus now plug in your usb cabel to your device and your computer now open the image of wm6 that you want to install the setup will find your ameo now

I have the same probleme and i can´t enter the Bootloader mode.
remove sim and storage card then do as mosho said
ie press camera, comms button and reset button then restore original rom , then olipros program
as per the wiki

cant get into bootloader
hello,
i cant get into bootloader at all.
i removed the sim and the memory card, al i get is a short flash of red light t the joystick, and only if the device is connected to the power cable.
it doesnt charge, it does nothing. i tried really everything.
does anybody have an idea?

try a service exchange at t-mobile. there seems to be something wrong with your device.
my ameo had no probs running olipros unlocker.

i used the unlocker with another ameo i bought, and it worked fine.
so i tried the same with the 2nd, and it crashed.
will they find out that i tried to unlock the device?

Now i cant get into bootloader or Hardreset.
and i cant try a service exchange because iam not t-mobile customer.

During a radio update my tytn crashed, so i can enter only in the bootloader, nothing else.
I have in the bootloader:
Herm100
IPl-1.04
Herm100
SPL-2.10.Olipro
I've tried to flash the originale rom (cingular 8525) but it always stuck at 12% with error 262.
Also activesync doesn't work, when i put the usb cable on pc-pda the icon remain grey, not becoming green...
Any hope to revive my pda?

I've tried to flash schaps 3.54b (microsd method) and now windows mobile works.
the remained problem is the radio, when i boot the device i read:
R: NONE
G: NONE
bad sign?
Yep... Search for another thread here with radio problems i think that happens with 1.54 radio roms
I've never encountered a problem with the radio rom 1.54.xx.xx.
The "No GSM" error is nigh well impossible to fix. No-one I know has a lasting fix. There are 2 causes, I believe, that may be the culprit.
1). The radio rom memory area is corrupted... - Give up now, there is no help, You need a new motherboard.
2). The antenna has a problem. If you replace the antenna attached to the motherboard this may fix the problem. I did this.
Either way you will need to find a cheap Hermes. I picked up a couple on ebay and salvaged the parts I needed for fairly cheap. I bought "broken" or "faulty" Jasjams. Using them for spare parts I fixed my Hermes and a friends Hermes so they both still work, it was worth it to save my precious phone... Just a thought..,

I had the same problem and have never been solved so I gave up and and I bought me another. I still had the old hermes, so if someone knows how to solve this... I'll be really hapy!

I need some expert help please! I have a Hermes (Orange SPV M3100) that I want to flash with a custom ROM but I am having a problem with ActiveSync losing the USB connection at the point that the device enters the bootloader screen. I am also unable to flash using the SD card method. I have flashed a Nike without any problems and I'm usually good with technical stuff so I think there must be something extra I need to do that I have missed. I hope that somebody can spare the time to help me solve the problem. Here are the details:-
I am trying to follow Mr Vanxs guide to flashing the ROM in windows Vista so that I can upgrade it from WM5 to WM6 and apply a custom ROM to load a new TouchFlo style OS. The first step in this process is to flash HardSPL using this guide but my problem with the USB connection won't let me do that. I have unlocked the device using Hermes Unlocker 3a so it is (or should be) SIM and CID unlocked and be SuperCID with HardSPL-1.40 (so maybe I can miss the Mr Vanxs HardSPL step?).
So, when I run the RUUWrapper.exe, choosing the Force option and accepting the messages I eventually get a prompt on the device. At this stage ActiveSync is connected. I click Yes on the device and it enters the bootloader screen which shows 'USB' on the tri-color screen but ActiveSync immediately drops the USB connection. The update then waits for a while then fails with Error 260. I have to do a soft reset to get the device out of the bootloader screen. When the device reboots the Activesync connection comes back to life.
I thought that I maybe don't need to HardSPL first so I tried just going straight to the ROM upgrade but I get the same problem.
Also, I tried following this link to flash using the SD card instead of USB but when I get to step 6 I don't see a confirm message - just the usual bootloader screen (it doesn't help that the screen shot doesn't appear on the link so I'm not even sure if I'm getting the correct screen). Any ideas?
I realise that an answer to this probably already exists somewhere on the forum but I have spent hours trawling through posts and I can't find it so I hope somebody has come across this before and can help me out.

Don't worry I solved it by rebooting my PC, skipping the HardSPL and flashing with an official ROM (HTC_TyTN_WWE_3.54.255.3_6275_1.48.00.10_108). I can now apply custom ROMs.

Hi all of you!
I have a Hermes (HTC Tytn/ Orange SPV M3100) and i succesfully tried a lot of ROM’s until these days..
But, this happened:
During upgrade of a ROM, i made the mistake to disconect the device from the PC..
And, now the problem is that i can’t boot ANY OTHER ROM!
I can enter to BootLoader , where i see
HERM100
I PL – 1.04
HERM100
SPL – 2.03
ALSO, i CAN connect to PC (it displays „usb” & i see it on Device manager)
(PC run Vista Ultimate 64 bit).
But, when i try to upgrade ANY ROM , the process starts, BUT STOPS at 0% ? .
I searched & read 4 days for a SOLUTION to make my phone alive again..
Can anyone tell me what to do?
Is a REAL solution for this issue?

i GUESS YOUR BATT IS ALMOST DEAD!
Hi dude... does your batt is higher than 50%? the process will not continue if yuour device is under 50% maybe it is beacause you cant charge it in Bootloader. keep it higher than that... if not the case... i guess you will ned to clean it with mtty....
Just search something like that... im for sure there is a way to make it... use the stripped att rom
AND TRY WITH IT ALWAYS!!!
never but never! when you got a problem in upgrade NEVER do a hardreset.... just softreset... keep it on mind... try an XP machine get it wherever you need to get it!

i tried on a XP-PC, because mtty don't work in Vista (Ultimate x64)
i followed ALL the instructions..BUT..
..the problem persists!(

in mtty shows that the device is CID locked with:
"ORANG008"
i downloaded the last ROM for Orange 008, and tried of install...BUT..nothing!(

I'm having problems with my niki100. When I power it up, it stucks in the second screen with the red letters at the bottom giving the radio version and other data.
The problem started after flashing a new rom:
PTG cleanblack wm 6.5 "showthread.php?t=689898"
Before installing this rom I was tring the ROM from Dj_series VA11, but there were some problems to get the phone to work, it was going to offline mode not setting up the connection to the mobile operator. Befrore changing any rom I've done the hardspl 1.22.
Now it's not working, I've done a hardreset, but it's the same, I can´t get active sync to work in order to do some flashing, I tried to enter to bootloader pressing camera and power button, the 3 color menu says USB when connecting the usb cable but on the labtop theres no port associated in device manager and no possible communication between niki and PC.
Any help would be thankfull..
Problem solved !
I've tried to flash it again through sd card with the same rom and the problem remain. After that I've changed the image on the sd card to the previous version (Dj series) , renamed the image on sd, camera*rst* and power button simultaneous, flash from sd and it went ok.
It's working now !
