No. If you flash the radio you are wiping everything. You might as well save yourself time and not go back to 3.27.

Radio Flash

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to "flash" I did my first one about 3 days ago with the Black Satin. I want to flash my radio to the version 1.54, if I flash only the radio did it flash everything and reset my TyTN (hard reset) or it flash only the radio ?
Thanks
If you only flash the radio, you only flash the radio. No data loss is done
Thanks !
Since I'm starting in flashing things, I don't want to mess things up to soon.

If you're that new to flashing, did you flash Olipro's HardSPL first?
Flashing radios is more prone to damage your phone than flashing OS only and HardSPL can often help you recover from a problem (such as power failure during flash etc).
HI, I've followed the Mr Vanx guide to flash my device. I've flash my radio last night and everything went fine.

Official Verizon Update Broke Gps For All Roms~! Help!!!!

So as the title states the offical ROM for verizon broke my gps for all the roms i have tried. Now this gets me wondering if the Official rom simply has some QPST tweaks to make it only work with VZ nav. But its quite annoying that i figured i would try the rom only to figure out that the GPS lockdown is NOT rom based. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this. Thanks!
I Second that..
I tried flashing the titan 20273 kithcen.. then 20270.. then no2chem 5067 as well.. tomtom will just say poor gps signal.. and just stays like that for hours..
can some one please figure out a way to fix this... VERIZON.. You Bastard!
Try dcd's baked rom. I flashed it and GPS started immediately, after vzw update.
From the info GC14 posted a while back it would seem that the new radio is to blame...at least that was my understanding. Flash one of the other radios and see if the GPS function is restored.

This is one of the reasons it wasnt leaked, there will undoubtedly be scores of people less familiar with flashing who "brick" or "break" their devices.
It is easy to get GPS back working after new VZW, but we need to get a fix the same method as Sprint; aGPS.
And, its not just QPST, there is a .dll in the way that requires vznav.
Already tried other radios.. im currently on 3.42.30.. still no gps.. FUUUGGGG.. Verizon.. You Bastard!

Guys, the reason your GPS is screwed is because of the PRI the update installed.
You need to go back to the stock bootloader (using Titan Relocker), then flash the original stock Verizon Rom letting the stock customizations run. This will roll you back to PRI 1.35. Once that's done, flash SPL 2.40/2.47 again followed by your custom rom/radio of choosing. You WILL have to reapply the Titan GPS Fix with QPST if you were using it prior to flashing the update.
Your GPS should be back to how it was after that.

PRI = Primary Rate Interface, correct? What does that have to do with GPS? Is the new ROM some how using the PRI for the aGPS or something? If this doesnt make senses its because I dont know what I am talking about and would love to learn the more technical side of this.
Thanks for any info GC.
No PRI = Preferred Radio Instructions. The radio has everything to do with gps.

Oh, Ok. Got it. Thanks!
As far as restoring GPS follow GC's instructions earlier. I did and I am good again.

stuck on verizon splash screen

I updated my bootloader to SPL 2.47 and than upgraded my radio to 3.37.75 with success. After a hard reset the phone shows the splash screen with the new radio for a few seconds and then hangs up on the plain verizon screen. I can get into bootloader (I have reflashed about five times now and tried a few different radios 3.37.2 and the same issue remains) ????
Sounds like you have to add the rom now. So flash the rom image.

I think the same thing.
Just another observation way add the old Verizon radio. Why not 3.42.40 or 3.42.50?
Yeah I still had the stock rom installed. I expected it to function without the rom update. I am going to flash to dcd's 3.2.6. Which radio do you guys suggest for verizon?

For radios. You can't upgrade to a gps radio with a non gps rom. Sounds like a good way to brick your phone. Maybe read up before you flash again.
How do you establish active sync?
Plug the phone into a computer with activesync installed on the computer.
Never mind the active sync ? had to just take out the darn sd card

Help PLease

Okay, lets start from the top. Did you flash it with a new SPL first? What ROM did you use? And what radio did you use? If you don't have the correct radio, a reboot loop will occur, which means you just need to flash it with a GPS enabled radio like the newer 3.42.50. That will overwrite your current radio and bring you back to speed.
are you saying the only way to flash the radio is to use the sd card?

Probably a bad flash. Flash the ROM again. If your phone is unlocked with spc code all zeros and you have olipro 2.40 bootloader and GPS radio 3.35 and up you should have no problems with Custom Titan ROMs. After you re-flash hard reset and pull the battery for a couple minutes.

doesnt matter. the only difference is that if you have a ..51.. radio on when you flash that rom, (or any other rom that requires a ..50.. radio) and you flash the rom first, the phone wont boot until you flash the radio.
But it WILL enter bootloader and let you flash, so its not a problem, it just scares people a little.
Once you HAVE a 50 radio, if you flash a different rom, it WILL boot without needing to change the radio.

yes, but not both in the same folder, one .nbh file and one customruu per folder.
