hi everyone,
i have a huge problem. my rom flash for my i-mate (qtek 2020, mdaII, XDAII) hung during flashing (from 1.66 to 1.72 official i-mate rom) during the ce upgrade step 2. now my i-mate just hangs at the blue i-mate screen and i cant connect to it through pc anymore, get error 101. is there any way to get a good rom on it again (can i connect to the ppc by another way, other software or sd-card0 so it will work again, or does it have to be epaired at at a rapaircenter?

If all that happened was it hung during upgrade you can put the device into bootloader, power+d-pad+softreset button, and attempt upgrade again, but if OS you were upgrading to is corrupt causing the hang a new rom might be the way to go, www.buzzdev.net has everything i needed, or clubimate.com
I have same problem. My q-tec100 is reseting so I can' connect it to pc for flashing again. Please tel me what is bootloader and what is d-pad button so thad i can stop it from reset and connecting for flash

its because the WM5 upgrade is for typhoons not hurricanes. youve just trashed your bootloader by installing a typhoon one. back to the manufactuer now.
Just one question : Is it possible to make my phone SuperCID with MTTY ??
My phone don't load WM6 it stuck on splash screen....
I can enter in bootloder (SPL 2.03) and all flash doesn't work....

I will start with my story: I have a qtek S200 and i have make a mistake i think? a friend off my set that i cane use every rom for your phone. So i have putt this a Vincent rom on it. (that's the only thing i know)
Now i want a new rom but, every Rom for a Prophet that i tray on my S200 stops by the Red/Green/Blue screen.
Can some wane help me to get a working Rom for me or a fix for this problem.

the problem. You haven't HARDSPL your Device.
Now, go to bootloader mode and flash PDAVIETTemp ,which can be found here.
PDAVIET TEMP
and HARDSPL your Device.
once you HARDSPL your device. SPL information should be 2.G4.4PDA for PPC G4 or 2.G3.4PDA for PPC G3.
Read WIKI. What is SPL. And how to go to bootloader mode.

For the second time i have load te Rom in the image stay still at 74% cane i break the operation? And how do i get te boot screan back after a abord?

1. yes, can still update,
2. FORCE BOOLOADER MANUALLY, (very important )
3. Flash NVID for Prophet
4. after restart and activesync,
5. use my Lazy_tool to flash any rom you like....

Here are how to enter bootloadermode
PDA Viet Temp is just to make you back to WM5 no vendor.
To hardspl your device. Read here.
You can HARDSPL your device. Or use lazytool from youzi. Posted from dioxda2.
Lazytool is using softspl.

from the wiki, there is a sentence missing after "To enter bootloader, you need to hold the comm manager button and soft reset."
that is " then release the stylus and keep pressing the comm. button until you see the bootloader screen"

Don't worry, both way can do.
1. Flash with the tool included in your favorite rom package.
2. or change the nk.nbf in the Lazy_Tool will do ,too.

i have a friends I-Mate JAMin (or HTC Prophet)
its a G4, now...it was running WM5, so i put HardSPL on it, went to flash a WM6.1 rom and now all it does is sit at the tri coloured screen, it seems like the HardSPL has done nothing, because the SPL is still the old numbers (the originals, it hasnt changed to 2.G4.4PDA, or whatever its suppose to show)....
I need help ASAP, i cant go back to my friend and tell him his phone is stuffed..

yep, tried that.
i actually cannot boot into a OS on the phone,
when it turns on it goes straight to the Tri-Coloured screen, i need some desperate help with this,
i have put HardSPL on there but the SPL version on the tri-coloured screen numbers have not updated to a new version,
i installed an update to the IPL version, so that has gone up to 2.20 or something like that.
the SPL number is currently 2.13.0001
i cannot get past the tri-coloured screen.

If your scree show RUU and you see USB in the left corner when connecting USB - then dont worry.
Just fksh it with a NVID wm5 Prophet ROM that is available in this forum and tou will have your device back.. you can then try to upgrade it to WM6 etc
