yes i have put a imate JASJAM battery in it but the problem is still the same.
cheers.

seems no solution?

no simple solution
Hi tangwd898,
i got no simple solution but some advice.
First i have to quote myself form another thread :
This is very similar to what happened to my device. After downgrading from olipro's hard-spl something went wrong. After flashing succeeded with 100% the device got restarted and there it was... nothing!!
What i found out in the meantime is that the IPL was not flashed correctly.
While trying to reflash the device with JTAG debugger, i examined that the NAND write protect signal sticks to GND right after reset.
Maybe this also a hardware issue. I'll find out soon
The bricked IPL-bootloader could also be the cause.
At least if the red light turns on, the DC-DC converter on the hermes is doing well. This means the unit is partially working but not booting.

Check if your device is still recognized by a host PC.
If you are not able to enter bootloader and there's no green light at all when you power up the device, i would suggest to check your mainboard.
First do some measurements...
Follow this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316531
You may also try the JTAG method to examine your bootloader code or reflash NAND chip:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=391047
In any case you'll need some electric skills and follow the manual to disassemble the device!
Good luck,
scholbert

you must have basic electronics skills to build the cable from the article and connect to your phone via self made cable with pc and then using the files and drivers attached you can restore your boot loader..if you aren't sure that you can do it by yourself I suggest to send your phone to phone repair shop, where probably they can do this.

[Q] Topaz brick recover

Appreciate the right person to provide us the way to the resurrection of our topaz brick, please many people need to work again our topaz.
Investigate all a brick recovery tutorial, thank you very much
Eject your sd card and pull the battery out.
Download a rom and start the rom with the RUU update tool **** on your pc.
Connect your phone.
Your phone will boot up in recovery mode.
Start the update after RUU found your phone.
The phone will update after the update re-insert your battery and let it charge for à minute or 5 before you start your phone.

You should be more specific describing your issue. What exactly has happened? What ware the circumstances? What is happening now: does your phone react to power button? Does it enter bootloader? Does your PC see the devise if it’s plugged in? Does your battery charges? etc…..
You're absolutely right, I detail the problem:
1-the problem arose at a bad flash, I run hard spl of mega htc (pack of Harry) was in error, for I have also the mega htc and wanted to investigate the change of rom, but was connected topaz pc loaded and will affect the execution of another program.
2-since then the htc topaz shows no signs of life, does not work, don`t boot into bootloader, it is not recognized by the pc, you are not charging LED light up, but pc connected to the battery if it heats up because I think load.
The situation is complicated solution to the problem you my friend?,
If you killed the bootloader, you'll probably aren't able to recover it only via USB and a PC. Here is the jtag pinout:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=669871
This is a programming connector. Don't ask me about how to work with it....I just know that you can program via this connector a broken flash. Hopefully somebody can help you.
yes man, sorry to say, but you are in real trouble. i think you should directly get it touch with the post starter of the jtag thread, mentioned above, mr. the-equinoxe. hi is real tough guy.
Information displayed is perfect, is a great information, now we have to work hard, thank you very much and if you have more information would be of great help.
The truth that I have no idea where to start, if it is attached would not know which pins to which, if you must connect the pins with a PC would know not, can you help?
God bless

Noooo!!! What did I do?

Hi guys!!! Before start I want thanks all for all the commitment and the great work.
I follow this forum much but I write today because yesterday I kill my TG01 when I attempt to flash with WP7 with the tutorial that I link ( I cannot use Qinwengui tutorial because the link of WP7boot was removed ).
Hi think that the problem made from a problem when I open the archive that at the inside have the files to flash and, after I erase the nand, when in the next step I write the file occurred, an error with MIBIB writing appear, I try to replace it with no result, at the end, when I put back battery and replace I cannot turn on my TG01.... nothing to do............. is completly dead.
My battery is full (I measure it) only I can ask if there's a solution or if I found a Riff box can I repair this? And how?
Another thanks.
erasing NAND is dangerous do you have any sign of life at all on your tg01 any LED lights, screen ? try different button combinations ?
i did say flashing wp7 for a unexperienced member is not a good thing to do but never mind. report back if you get any LED lights or anything im no pro or anything but i will try my best to help you
I jonnyhall1bmx1, thanks for the quick answer, it's not my first time in flashing procedure, but this time I try this because i'm not at home at the moment of flash and i find only the file of tutorial that I haved link.
But..... no sign of life, is total dead, I try all the combination..... is total dead...
Do you know if riff nox can help me?
I see that situation is totally black!!!
hmmm im not 100% sure how a riff box works
and dont panic, ive had my tg01 doing nothing at all and managed somehow to bring it back to life haha
like i say im no expert i would like to help you but i can only fix a tg01 with LED lights im not sure what to do with it been dead.
your best option is to pm one of the smarter people like NOKSER although you would get an answer quicker out of a brick wall with him.
you could try MIRO, hes a great guy or any of the developers.
dont give up tho like i say my tg01 was once dead 3 times still always somehow got it running
Another thank, I wait if Nokser or Miro see this thread for some minute and after try to give a pm with the first post.
Seems to be real dead, when i put the battery recharger, not come out the orange led, i think now the phone not know to be a phone.
Thanks to all that can give me a help.
Bye.

I not understand for end this problem, but if you not write completly nand parts(bootloader), then phone is dead... now only unbrick device in Riff Box.. or in any J-Tag
Maybe you write video from your screen phone...
Hi Nokser, thanks for your answer.
Ok if you see the tutorial that i use, i'm lock at this point:
Click erase,
when erase has completed click write.
At this point the led change various color but when terminate process give me a message like " MIBIB cannot write...etc...", I try to replace the folder with anothe zip download from another thread but with the same result.
When I disconnect the phone, put out the battery and after riconnect.
Result is a dead phone (completly off:screen and led and other ).
Do you know if in this state with riff box is possible to reflash the nand?
Thank you for all your hard work! Bye.

Maybe your battery is unloaded.
Riff Box J-tag re-write all nand partition, separate and spare.
Ok so you erased whole bootloader section and when writing it an error occured?
Then:
Riffbox only.
You can try to measure battery voltage with any voltagemeter but I think you killed it.
Thanks to all, yes I can rewrite all nand: Positive.
This is appen yesterday, i have just measured the battery is near to full.
No jtag, only Riff Box.
If I understand now I try to search a riffbox ( need any accessory? ) or search for someone that make this operation near my zone.
Thanks to all, if i have some notice i post it, if another one have another trick, please post.
Now i go to work ( night turn ) thanks for all!

Riff Box - This is a J-tag tool. This device, repair your phone. However, it is quite expensive.
Maybe you without battery, and wait 2-3 h. This device must rest. I had such cases more than once.
Hi Nokser, this morning I read your post and I try to put out the battery, after 2-3 hours I reconnect the battery with no results.
Now I buy the Riff Box, I think that after the NAND flash i try to sell it right to recover a part of money.
In another thread I see this your photo that I link under this post.
Is this connection the right connection with the Riff box?
And is this without any accessory ( only the cable )?
Always thanks, bye.

I know that other guys have the same problem, I have just verified connection and all the advice, who can help me?
Try as HD2
I found it in another forum, now I try this..... Very thanks!
Hi guys, I follow this instruction that I found in another forum, because my initial problem was that I erase the NAND:
Download full backup from this link :
http://rapidshare.com/files/42229365...ull_backup.rar
Connect phone to RIFF, go to DCC TAB, select HTC HD2.
Open full backup, and set following options :
- Start address: 0x0000000000
- Data Length: 0x0000800000
- Check "Image file is used"
- Check "Use address as offset"
- Select ROM1
Other options must be NOT Checked, click "Write". This will restore erased area in modem part.
After more test the only mode that give me the possibility to update is to short pad 1 and 3, turn on the phone and connect via usb: TG01 in Download Mode.
After this perform ROM upgrade using TG01 downloader.
Now I have the problem of Win7 x64 and the driver...
When I have news, I will write.
Bye and thanks to all have help me.
TG01 Return to life!!!
OK, now I have TG01 with WM 6.5 Nokser with Radio 0321.
A partial correction:
After the resurrection with Riff Box "not need" to short Pad 1 and 3, my problem was the battery is go down with the much try.
I make a recharge to much to have 3,7V and after with TG Downloader and Rom.bin of WM 6.5 I flash with success the phone .
For solve the Win7 x64 problem I install Virtual PC with WIN XP and execute all under this.
Now I still do a full recharge and this evening I finally can try WP7!!! ( Cross the finger... ).
Special thanks at Nokser and all the guys that give me a great help.
Thanks to all!!! Happy Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!

With no usable recovery and no USB debugging enabled... You're in a really difficult situation here.
The only thing I can think of is, you can try reflashing the original stock firmware using the official methods. Never done this nor do I intend to so I have no pointers for you there, sorry. You might also lose your data, not sure. But hey, at least you should have a functioning phone again!
Perhaps the local experts here will come up with something else, so stay tuned.
You will probably have to fastboot a new rom. But first you will have to unlock your bootloader. See the guides at the top of the General section.
Well my noobish suggestion is start by fast boot flashing a current recovery. Then flash the zip file in your linked thread, and you should be up and running.
I've just used this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1163342
Now my phone doesn't boot:
"Failed to boot 4
Starting RSD mode"
Aparently, I can't use Fastboot anymore.
Is there a way to recover it using RSD Mode?
Is your bootloader unlocked?

Yes, it is.
But now I'm stuck at RSD Mode in the "Boot failed" screen
Relax, you've got a soft brick. You can recover.
Carefully follow the instructions on the link below (this worked for me). Keep in mind that your soft brick can turn in to a hard brick, so do this at your own risk. Flashing sbf files is risky, but at this point you don't have much of a choice.

Edit:
Good luck!

In the wall charger, it freeze in the boot screen. In the USB, I just get a green light.
Does anybody know a solution for this battery issue?
First off, did you successfully recover from your soft brick?
you could just use the lapdock and fix the problem from start..

take out your battery, plug into the wall charger to force it into charge mode. place your battery in the phone.
if this doesn't work, you'll have to destroy a USB cable and charge it manually.

Essentially its making a factory cable of sorts, I believe. Taking the + and - of the cable and directly touching to those terminals also of the battery while in the phone and force charging. I could be wrong, but that's what I understand of it.
That sounds like something I hope I never have to do.
dudsmat, how did it go?
Desktop chargers are cheap....no need to destroy a cable.

Help! I've bricked my android box

Hi.
I tried flashing a rom on a H96 Pro Plus 3+32GB box with an Amlogic S912, chip.
First couple of times when i tried flashing, it went up to 3-4% and gave out an error. Then i unchecked the erase flash and erase bootloader options and it went to 8% and then gave out an error once again.
After a couple of tries with the erase bootloader and erase flash options. It succeded flashing. But when i plugged in the box. There was no picture, there was just a blue light on the box.
The computer won't recognize the box after that, i've tried putting a rom on a SDcard, i've tried shorting some pins, not sure if they were the correct ones, but no luck. There is power going to the box, the blue light is on, but it won't turn on or display any signal.
Please help!
Thanks in advance!

Hi.
Trust me i've searched for a week without any success. Unfortunately the video didn't help me since my problem currently is that the box is getting power but there is no hdmi signal, nor the box is getting recognized by the pc after flashing the rom.
Thanks for trying to help.

Hi
I tried shorting pins, like in the tutorial but nothing happened. Not getting recognized still.
Hi
Ok, so i've fixed the tv box and it turns out i was doing something wrong. I didn't have power plugging it in. I was relying on the usb connection to give enough power to the box. I've done this to get back the box. Please if you don't know what you are doing, get someone that really knows. I'm not responsible for any damage that may happen. This is just what i've done to recover the box.
1. Hold the reset button on the box
2. Plug in USB in the pc and in the box
3. Wait 2 seconds and then plug in power.
4. Hold the 5th and 6th pin (i think). Please watch the video andmake sure that you know what you are doing, since 1 bad move could render the box totally unusable. Thanks. you should hold the pins for a couple of seconds and it should pop up
Also i wasn't able to install Aidenrom (while flashing it gives out an error) or Atvexperience (it cant get imported by usb burning tool)
I reinstalled the default rom. And i was using USB Burning Tool V 2.0.8
Thanks for your help.
