and i'm trying to flash hard-spl 4.7 and the screen turns black and I get 260 errors and 202's and **** saying it lost sync connetion so please help me I gotta figure this out so I can upgrade. thank you.

Hard SPL comes in a few flavours, the most popular being Hard SPL v7 (2.10 olipro) and Hard SPL V9 (2.60 olipro). V9 is the developers SPl, good if you are making apps and roms but not so useful if you are just a layperson.
If you are trying to install Hard SPL 4.7 then I gotta believe its either a typo or you are trying to flash the wrong SPL for your device, the Hermes. Fastest way to a permanent brick I know...

You might need to reflash it. Hold the two soft keys and then push the reset button. it will ask to hard reset. If the phone fails to come on after the hard reset, then hold the left 'ok' key and the power button, and then push the reset under the phone- this will take you to a tricolor screen where you can then re-flash the phone. try reflashing with official rom's, before using any other roms.
yes i do but it still in boot any sugest ipl 1.01 spl 1.40 olipro if any know how to update ipl with hard spl or how to remove hard spl it will be aprecible
My suggestion would be to try using sd to reflash the rom and see if that orks. format sd card making sure its fat 32 then put .nbh file in root directory. rename to herimg.nbh then insert into phone. go to bootloader and it should start the flash straight away. if this works make sure you upgrade spl to olipro 2.10 hard spl so its easier if there are problems. you can possibly upgrade spl this way too (get nbh file and rename hermimg.nbh). I tried this on my herme 100 and it seemed to work. it will flash the spl BUT when it restarts it will go straight to bootloader and start flashing again. as soon as it restarts get the sd card out and put on the os you want to flash. insert card and as long as you've named it hermimg.nbh it should flash new os with spl olipro 2.10. Good luck flashing.

just stop trying any unauthorised ideas. let me know if i can help u. i have a friend in o2 service centre here in india. he can get ur device working. he does it by help of a software and 3 cables . it takes about 2 hrs. just let me know if u want ur device to work again

If you want people to help you, you have to help yourself first!
1st of all, have you gone to read the Wiki as suggested?
2nd what methods have you tried to unbrick your device?
If you can't answer these questions then we can not help you, you keep asking for suggestions but you do not even reply to other's questions!

Bet you don't have Hard SPL on, do you?
You may have learnt the hard way why "INSTALL HARD SPL VER 7" is all over the Hermes forum...
If you have, then my suggestion would be to try to update WITH THE PC a stock rom from you carrier.. If you're successful, INSTALL HARD SPL VER7 from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296722

Update the Hermes with Hard SPL V7 - should read IPL - 1.04 & SPL - 2.10oli when finished update and go to the tri-colour screen.
After that go to the WM06 part of the Hermes forum. You'll find a sticky with some older ROMs and a heap of newer ones in production.
As you've now got Hard SPL V7 on you can use the sd card method to install roms.
backup the sd card 1st.
1. Format 2Gb or less sd card FAT32. Copy .nbh file(rom you want) on it and rename to hermimg.nbh .
2. insert sd card back into Hermes and boot to tri-colour screen.
3. As long as you did everything right, follow the prompts. reset with stylus if nothing happens and check sd card is formatted right and .nbh is named right.

Ok to the Hard SPL, with the Hard SPL V7, it took less than a second, then soft reset automatically.
How do I check that it is hard-spl to avoid a crash? (How am I going to tri-color screen? He has done it alone ..)

Hold power button, OK button above flywheel and reset with stylus. Hold in until you get to the tri-colour screen. It should display IPL - 1.04 & SPL - 2.10oli.
This means SPL upgrade was a success...

Go to the wm06 part of the Hermes forum for roms. Look for one that has a network setup wizard and make sure it either has or you install Arcsoft mms composer before runniong the network setup wizard. Should install settings for mms on the Hermes.
Read the discriptions of the roms by the chefs as they tell you about everything in he rom, its up to you to decide whats best...

hi everybody...i'm new on this forum and i don't have any experience with flashing roms...i have a Hermes with windows mobile 6 that doesn't want to go along with the upgrades(SPL for start).I read a lot of tutorials but no luck..booted the phone in bootloader mode:

i'm not the first owner of the phone...it runs well but i'd like to put wm 6.1 on it.
i have tried to hard spl, my phone resets in bootloader mode...the pc recognizes it but after 2-3 minutes it gives me an error( error 260)...
I am currently using windows vista ultimate 32-bit...please give me a hand guys...thanks in advance

for the SD card method you need HardSPL v7... you will have to flash it... not much else anyone could do with it.
thanks for the posts guys..from my last post i've flashed a f ew roms on my hermes without any problems..istil have spl 1.40..i guess the risk of bricking my device is bigger..i'm now lookIng for a clean 6.1 rom..without any preinstalled aps and crap i dont use...a recommandation would be nice
hi i was flashing my jasjam (the usb method) and the thing stopped anyhow reading on the net i was told to unplug it and now it gets stuck at the first logo screen.
i can get up the tri colour screen and my settings are
HERM100
IPL-1.01
HERM100
SPL-1.11
now i have flashed this jasjam twice before this happend and i have been scouring the threads trying to find a way to fix this (possibly by installing the os via the sd card if thats possible?) and the only thing i have come across that looks like it may help is a post i read elsewhere on this site but cant post the link as i am a new user but i have wrote what i think would help below.

This will NOT fix the no GSM problem, there is no fix for that...
