I just re-ROM'd my phone and now it looks like
my data plan isn't working.
I have a sprint 6850 hacked to VZW
The ROM I used was SROSLER's ROM.
I KNOW it resets the EPST settings, and I did get it back on the
Verizon network.
So it's not the ROM's fault.
But it now says "Cannot connect for unknown reason" when I try
to call for data.
When I dial *22899 all the phone does is beep twice and the call ends.
It doesn't look like it's writing the HA and AAA shared secret.
My Mip settings are:

hi people this is my ever first post i think. Just wanna ask if i got the correct settings that i extracted from an original V3m Alltel. I'm looking for EPST Settings for my Touch Pro to work in Sacramento area of california. So far, this is what I've got from Metro. They gave me a NAM Number which is 916-308-0677. MDN: 916######(My phone number) and home sid/nid 6503. They gave me another service programming number which is 587846 but I don't know where this goes.
the Phone has already been flashed to MetroPCS and when I dial 611 it takes me to metropcs. But when I call somebody, it says,"Welcome to American Roaming Network." So I'm assuming there's some settings that are incorrect. If you got a touch pro working on metro, please post some settings here. It would make a great tutorial as well.
Just put ##778# in dialer and view epst settings under "Display, NAM Settings, CDMA Settings, Home SID/Home NID, Modem Settings, PRL, Security, Data Parameters, Phone Directory, M.IP Settings, and M.IP Default Profile"
Please kindly post your settings here. It'll make a good tutorial and help alot of people. Thanks in advance.

I contacted him a few times but wouldn't reply. Also, he charges a lot. Its like 120 bucks he charges to program it. I can't afford that. I've already have it flashed and most settings in, but dunno if he will lemme know of that last ones. But again, I doubt he will help regarding this matter.
you need to get your MSID
So here is my story, about 3 weeks ago I bought a touch pro off of ebay, that was for "pageplus"... well it turns out it was actually a sprint phone that had been flashed to pageplus. It worked for voice and text, but no data. The seller gave me a partial refund, and I figured I could get it to work. Anyway 3 weeks later I have it unlocked with Mightyrom 6 running and everything is great, except for some intermittent keyboard issues. I figure why not a hard reboot, see if its something that I had installed.Thats where everything when down hill. When It finished booting, it had jumped carriers to Verizon. If i tried to call with it all I got was verizons customer service. I've spent the last 6 hours trying to get this thing to work. My on going struggle can be read over at Howardsforum

wahahahahhaha, she's alive, SHE IS ALIVE ... my phone finally works again, that was a rough 24 hours... the thing that I entered wrong was the MSID... who knew that phones had two phone numbers. Thanks to Ebay seller Kittywireless for their help. They didn't make a dime from me, and helped me find the answer.... One bonus of all this BS is it forced me to learn a lot of stuff about my phone, and now the Data is working

Im using a samsung rant from sprint and everything that happend to you happend to me!!! could you type out the data settings for you phone ie: User NAI, SPI MN-HA, SPI MN-AAA, Rev Tun Pref, Home Address, Primary HA-IP, Second HA-IP and your browser gateway ( you can get there by pressing ##3282#) thank you sososososo much!!!
So I almost have this done, but I've got a problem. I can get 3G, but not phone or text. When I call, I'm sent to the American Roaming Network, and when I once got an error about International Data Roaming, I saw Verizon Mobile in the paragraph right before I hit the No button. I've tried out a ton of PRLs, but none get me the phone. I KNOW it's not a typo somewhere. My MIN is correct everywhere. Everyone uses my Google Voice number, and I'm using GooVe IP so I can (usually) get calls, but it's not even close to being the same. Here's what I've done so far...

Thanks for the advice, but I'll wait for someone who knows proper English.
So I guess my main problem was I was using my phone number for my MIN and my MDN, though on my old phone these were different numbers. Also, this is a dual band phone, and Cricket in my area is triband. I'm probably going to have to find another route altogether.
can someonne please send me the updated profile file of point me in the correct direction because in stuck. i rooted my evo 3d form hboot 1.5 to 1.4. everything works fine but my internet connection is constantly at 1x. my baseband is 1.06.00.1216 and my prl has been updated manually (by zip) to 21081. ive tryed virtually everything and im stuck. i have tryed to do settings / update / profile... that gives me an error 67. ive tryes to do ##72786# to reset the phone. it takes activation just fine and hangs on the updates and throws error 67. for the evo 4g's i remember the profile being a part of the flashable radio zip. im asking for someont to help me out and send me the profile or point me in the right direction...
currently on the mean rom 3.92, ive used mikrunny and mr esp stock shooter rom... with the same results... thanks in advance.
Call sprint, I had the same thing happen, they might be changing your towers as well, if they say that so and so towers have tickets, ask what for. The tech on the end, not a customer rep, said they were making huge updates. I'm now getting 4mbs+ on 3g half bars. The tower can take up to 72 hours.

By did nothing do you mean they didn't fix your problem...
Our did nothing as in no towers are down in your area, I had 1x and 25Kbs for a while.

thats correct, no towers are down. the phone worked fine before the downgrade other people with tsimilar phones are fine..
Get your MSL. (MSL Reader on Market)
Go into Dialer, dial ##3282#
Press Edit, Enter your MSL.
Press EVDO, change Preferred Mode to Automatic.
Press Menu, and Commit Modifications.

EVDO preferred mode is automatic and DDTM is disabled.. i didnt have to change anything

Change it to CDMA Only then, and commit, then reboot, and change it back to automatic and commit and reboot again.
It seems as though your NAI/HA pass or AAA pass from your profile 0 is incorrect. That's why you r getting that error 67 message when trying to update profile. You might want to RTM (Reset To Manufacturer) the phone. You r going to need your MSL/SPC in order to perform this. You start by going to the phone dialer and hitting ##786#, this will open up the "Reverse Logic Support" menu. In here you will see your MDN, MSID, MAC-ID, etc... Once here, press the Menu button and hit "Reset". It will then ask for the MSL/SPC, enter your MSL and hit OK.
NOTE: Before attempting this BACK UP, BACK UP, BACK UP EVERYTHING YOU DON'T WANT TO LOOSE. This function will reset your phone back to manufacturer settings, meaning it will wipe everything and revert it back to stock settings.

i think i tryed this when i called sprint...im at work right now but ill try it on break and let you guys know whats going on...thanks for all your help
no deal, im going to use qxsp or whatever to go into profile 0 and zero some stuff out and see it itll reset itself with a handset reset
i see the problem in my profile 0 theres a ton of gibberish in my nai field its (ff000) and it goes on for a while. research says that the nai is supposed to be my imei so im guessing its corrupted... ill keep you guys posted on the repair because im not even going to touch that subject... unless anyone who knows how can let me know ! i have active user set to 0 and the damn thing keeps giving me write errors!!! im using QPST

That is really strange... The result you had with the RTM suggest 1 or 2 things. Your phone was partially flashed or fully flashed to different carrier that required to repair the MEID. The other possibility is that your phones Profiles were modified and eventually were corrupted or lost. Be careful using QPST, you may end up causing more damage. After the phone OTA's, profile 1 is automatically populated. Usually looking like this...

Profile 0 is bit more complicated to populate. Normal settings are somewhat like this...

This is obtained by an algorithm which computes your "MEID HEX, HEX DEC" among other things. Sorry can't help beyond this point.
