I have a big problem:
when i lost the gsm signal the phone is power off and never recive incoming calls ... until i'll power on again.
Is there some settings in order to search the gsm signal always...?
...cause i can't control the xda every 5 minutes if have signal or not...
I have 4.21 radio and 4.00.11 rom

I need your help .
I've downloaded the 4.00.16 ROM by mistake, it really didn't tell the ROM number, so now I want to revert to a earlier one and I can't.
I've got the following message: "ERROR: GetDeviceData - An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
error getting devicedata" and then "ERROR 011: EXECUTE REMOTE COMMUNICATION PROGRAM ERROR. Cannot execute the remote communication program. Please make sure that the USB/Serial cable is properly connected."
PLEASE HELP ME, I'M REALLY STUCK NOW AND DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO...

please help, ive upgraded the rom from the o2 website and it has lost all the O2 software on the phone (which may not be a bad thing) but it has lost all the pre installed connection settings for the internet.
any ideas how to solve this or reset it back to its original rom settings

A hard reset should restore the settings, I dont understand why the settings are missing, did it go through the auto configuration routine where you choose your country and gsm/gprs prepay etc.?

Mine did the same. I just have "USB v1.01" on the screen whilst it's in its USB cradle. If I take it out it displays "Serial v1.01". Pushing the Hard Reset buttons, and even removing the Battery just results in the same display.
Have you resolved it yet please?

It's mean you have fail to upgrade your Xda II ROM. Anda the ROM have been formated. You can put the Xda in the cradle, and run the original ROm 1.60.44. Good luck!

Ive just upgraded my phone to the WM6 "Fantastic Mobiz v2.0b3" everything went smooth, no errors.
until the device starts and starts the wizard, tab the screen .... and so on. when it reached to if i wanna set a password to protect the device.
ok i entered the password and confirm it. finished the wizard. then the device restarted, and now it asks about the password, when i enter it it says the password is incorrect.
Activsync also can not connect when the the device is locked.
What to do now? plz help!

It's a known WM6 bug.I will sometime forget the password,so don't use a password...
after setup PW etc ... make a clean shutdown!! It means ... switch it off and on again. this flush the registry back to rom. then he knows the PW after soft reset.

But i didnt get it yet, what should i do? i soon as the device starts it asks for the password, how can i flash it again? and which file should i flash?

I did a mistake when I buy my Prophet first may yours is the same
If you choose "basic" password at the beginning it only accepts the "numbers" it doesn't allow you to enter letters.
Bu the password input screen allows it.
So if you write letters during your first password setting and if you didn't recognize that those are not accepted you feel you are in trouble.
My advice is "try just the numbers in your password and tap OK"..

I need help, I have done upgrades several times and am not new to the process. Today however something has gone wrong. Need your help to fix it. I downgraded from gullum VII to PV Temp and then did the upgrade to PDAVIET Transformer.
Upgrade failed and as per on screen instructions did a soft reset and repeated the process. It failed a second time. When I did a SOFT reset again the OS showed 6.6.666 in spite of the upgrade failing. After that the screen has gone blank.
I can go to the tri color bootloader screen, but the device does not connect to the computer. So I cant even down grade it to pv temp. what should i do. how to solve this

The general method to connect to your PC when in bootloader is to DEactivate "Allow USB connection" in the conections settings of ActiveSync.
With that setting inactive, your device will be connected as an regular USB device instead as being redirected from within ActiveSync. This way the WM5 RUU can connect and you can try "Step1" again.

My X01HT runs the latest software Window 6,everything worked perfect,except the internet connection which has some problems like sometime the phone is automatically connect to the internet and also after do a soft reset it happen the same,Could some one help!!!Thanks

I am using the same model in WM6 chinese version. wanna ask if u hv set any email account in something called "message centre". if u do, device will regularily enable the interent connection in order to check and download email message for you.
BTW, i am looking for a WM6 Pro OS to be installed in my PC, do u hv any idea to get one in Traditional Chinese?
