I tried to unlock my orange m3100 (swiss) SPL 1.04. When I run the MaUpgrade I get the ERROR message 120 Country ID mismatch and the program quite / radio rom version remains at 1.06.00.00.
Please help me - thanks

Run the software when your fone is under the tri-color screen mode, rather than wm 5.0
I read all post (wiki instruction, also) about bricket hermes and kitl mode. Sorry, I can't put ansi log via usb monitor. But I put some situation from Mtty and Pb 5.0. Same situation is in Pb 6.0. Can somebody, please tell me what's happened with my Hermes? When I use original Ruu I get message "invalid vender Id" (probably radio area and cid corupted).

When load PB 5.0 or 6.0 after ...Start....nothing happened. I also removed ril.dll...I think that PB cant recognize to download ext rom (to many bad blocks) and here stoped. Any idea how to disable in PB to load ext Rom? (maybe I am not in the right way about my opinion..???but I give a hope myself.)

this not work i try all i not have kitl mode , and can not use SSPL+ActiveSync because i stack in bootloader-no active sync my problem is to change bootloader when device is cid locked only solution to create Hermes overflow exloit and when i have temporaly cid unlock my device then i can flash rom.
Flash a cooked ROM, leave the device in bootloader mode, connect with USB....run the RUU and select your bootloader version.
The RUU shouldnt care that the device is already in bootloader mode, just follow the usual steps.

I had the same problem, I tried I think all the tips I read on the forum, finally I put my phone in Bootloader mode, I uncheck usb connectios on active sync, and the most important thing I tried with the following ROM: RUU_hermes_CINGULAR_WWE_2.15.502.3_6275_1.40.30.00_108_Ship for my surprise after trying will all kind of roms, this one did the installation of a new radio and finished with 100% in downloading the new OS and radio GSM, I have a working Hermes! If I could help in anything let me know

It is a WM5 Rom, this is the only one I tried that worked at the first try!, however it seems at the beggining that wont work because it takes too much time to advance in the percentage bar on downloading, for me took about 35 minutes, the good notice is that this rom completes the installation and installs a WM5 but it is a good start since once you are done with this you can install hard spL on your phone, you mentioned that didn´t work please be patient if you notice that the percentage bar is working, at the end this will fix your phone.

My phone was cid locked and KITL disable before I fixed it! now I did the unlocking using PoFs cid and sim unlocker and it worked fast and easy at the first try!
I understand your urgent requierement I was 15 days with my phone damaged with the only showing of IPL 1.04 and SPL 2.03 "serial" text on the bottom.

Hello everyone.
I've problem while unlocking my Herm(MDA Vario II form Era). I downloaded Unlock_v3a prom forum. SPL updated succesfully to 1.40 Olipro byt while installing Radio it stuck on 0%. Then i have only bootloader screen and I install WM 6 wersion of operator (but without Radio etc because when i tried install full it stuck on 12% - radio install). Anyone have some idea what's wrong?
Maybe it is SPL case?

Ok i want to refresh my Thread. I was reading many articles about Hermes and my case now is like that.
My Radio is working i can talking by PDA but only with cards of it's operator, when i'm trying install Radio installation stops on 0% i try to install 1.14, 1.18 Radio but always with the same result.
My IPL is 1.01
SPL is 1.40 Olipro
Radio ver. 1.05.02.00
Running on WM 6
