Hey there i was just curious to see if people could post some screenshots of their Linpack scores on here. I read in another thread that 97 or so was the highest but i achieved over 98. Just wondering if anyone else is getting around the same? OCed or not? I held down my score as i took the screen shot. So my highest score is the highlighted green. Not too bad. It ranked 1100 or so out of all devices. Im thinking that is pretty badass for a phone that doesnt yet have a slimed down custom rom on it. I do have it OCed to 1.8ghz.
how in the hell did you pull that off? max I get is 60 mflop and 2500 quadrant on 1.8 ghz

you sure your overclock'd, you should be hittimg ~70 bone stock multithread.

Well at first I was getting about 70 then I started tweeking things and making sure all my apps were killed. Took awhile to even break 90. But it kept creeping up.
Shoooooot!
Anyone else?

Do you mean EVO 3D? Just calling it the EVO leads to a lot of confusion

I pulled a 102.658. Ill put a pic up, if you promise not to laugh at me for not knowing how to use drocap right.
I cant get above 45 stock

I got 96.106 as my highest. I seem to average between 85-90 though.
I usually get just south of 70 stock multi-threaded after killing all active apps (ATK). Running Linpack now im getting around 50 with whatever is in the background that is running.
Thanks for everyones responses. I was just having mixed thoughts.
Shoooooot!
I've hit 68 stock, 92 @ 1728.
73 stock, 96 oc.
edit: Just got 99.333, beat that ;-)

I keep getting poor scores on linpack for android. At stock speeds im around 12-15 mflops, and when overclocked to 1.8 ghz it max out at around 18-19. Apparently the evo 3d should be able to hit in the 100's, so whats wrong with mine? I also used setcpu to set it on performance so its always running at max frequency.

are you using multi thread?
The dual-core processor isn't designed to run at max frequency at the same time all the time, hence the low scores. We have an acentric processor on our hands, so that's part of the reason the scores r low.
Also, you are mist likely bot running the multi-thread option, which nets me around 50-65.

How does it get into the 100s?
Linpack has never really been reliable for me.
Run some scores on an unrooted phone.
Most I've gotten in a Multi Thread run is 73, I am usually around 60-65.
At 1.8ghz I get between 88-92
Someone with an 3VO posted a Linpack score of 200! That's the highest score I've ever seen.

Weird, I am getting the same scores as you mention. Running stock unrooted rom. I know this can't be right as my OG EVO scored in the 30's.
Would like to know why it works for some people and not others?
Update...I just ran quadrant to see what I would get with that and it was about 1750 which I think is about right. Went back to run linpack and now I am getting scores in the 60's. Maybe quadrant woke something up. Lol
200 Linpack
That was before the Linpack update. I popped a 220 or some BS. Some of those scores are still posted on their website. They are bogus. The highest I have hit legit is 93. OC'd to 1.8 But Linpack is inconsistent as hell. I routinely get high 70's low 80's as well.

enyo... I have tested with glitch kernel at 1.7 ghz and i currently hold the record benchmark for this device on antutu using performance governor. After testing for a half hour at that speed i fell asleep with the phone stuck at that speed. I'm typing this message with that phone now. That was done with glitch v13. The most i ever got from high clock speeds was freezes and reboots.
However, if you get stupid with live oc the story can be very different.
But to give an idea of what my phone handled back then, go to the cm7 glitch thread and check what the gpu/buss speed was at 1.7ghz. But remember that those bus/cpu speeds, and voltages were finely tuned by tk , and you probably won't be able to push that hard with live oc.

It's all luck. Chance. Fate. If tk has not burned his phone yet i would say you have a lot of catching up to do to get the mileage he has. I had mine overclocked 1.5ghz for a few months.. And guess what, i have never monitored temp. But hey, i pay an extra couple dollars a month on top of insurance for lifetime warrantee. So i think my phone burning up would fall under that. But anyway, your stressing out to much over it.

I must have every bit of speed. That said here's the setup:
ICS AKOP 25 Glitch 14 B5 for 6.0
1200 step with 118 LOC
Glitch OnDemand with some OV and UV. (see pics)
Live OC is the way to go as you get a boost to your GPU and RAM in addition to the usual CPU bump.

So I've been unable to get higher benchmarks than what I've attached. I know its not really a way to judge my phone, but rather me being curious. How are people getting such high scores on their rezounds? I'm currently running CleanROM 4.1 and loving every bit of it. Let me know what your scores are and what you've done to get those scores.

I got a very similar score the first time I ran Antutu with CleanRom 4.1 (in the mid 3000's). I tried it again a few days later, not having changed anything in particular and got a 6276. So I'm not sure why there was a 3000+ point discrepency.
I've tried it a couple times and its consistantly in the 3000 range. I've never seen even remotely close to 7000 on my Rezound no matter what Rom I was running, lol.

those benchmarking apps are inaccurate and useless. tried running twice back to back. first over 7000 then just barely 3500. total waste of time

I mostly use it as a comparison to my old Inctedible though...this phone is super smooth, so I don't really care what the benchmark says!

I've been getting decent scores with quadrant, but they haven't updated the list of devices so its hard to have anything to compare it to. I haven't tried the other one.
Also, I know there's a difference, but I get scores in the high 8000s with my Xoom overclocked to 1.5 ghz, but only 3000s with my Rezound clocked at 1.5 ghz as well.
Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
This has been discussed in Sebastians thread. It has to do w/ an issue with mpdecision. Besides benchmarks mean nothing!
All Day
I consistently get over 7000 when I run Antutu. Overclocked to 1.834 on cleanrom 4.3
I get close to 3000 with Quadrant...but I only really use it to see if new tweaks help or hurt.

I was running newts rls1 and getting 3600 quadrant and 6500+ antutu. When I switched to rls3 everything went down...so back to rls1 for me.
Other people have pointed out and I find this to work, that if you use setcpu and check "enable profiles", the 2nd core is turned on. I went ahead and set a screen off profile of 192/192 (max/min). I"m experimenting with these values, though. It seems I can knock down my mA use (per Battery Monitor Widget) by using the profile. The cpu does appear to be scaling properly. Many people have said not to use any of these cpu things and I did have some trouble with setcpu previously but it seems to be doing its thing with RLS1 anyway.

Programs probably just are't reading it right.
Speaking generally, the 2nd core will sit idle until needed, so it may be 'offline' when those apps check.
Until we get custom kernels/kernel source, there isn't much that can be done about it.
Sent from my evolving Rezound.
Lunatic summed it up perfectly. There are 2 cores, but the applications can't "see" them
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1496934 If you read through this thread the OP talks about the mpdecision not working properly. Basically it's the file that governs when both cores are on etc. It is something that can affect synthetic benches, but not real world performance. Probably why current ****s given by HTC = 0. Quadrant = trash and benches are for jerking off to numbers which generally is not an indicative to device performance. But whatever floats your boat I suppose .
Kool txs every1,,and I do use benchmarks to how my current Rom or tweak us working,,most of us are visual and need a program to tell us how it is..but I'm glad there s alot of hardcore peps to do the schooling
Perflock. There is no CPU management. Using setcpu doesn't do anything...its all in your head.
