Battery mv level - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is the battery mV level discharge proportional with the percentage of battery? My battery gets good life however my mV level does not seem to drop to levels that would seem to be low battery.

Which battery percentage can I trust?

OK so android is reporting 20% battery left however when I set battery monitor to give me voltage based values it says I have closer to 40% battery left. Which can I trust? If the battery monitor is correct, how can I get android to report values close to that?

Well with most batery programs they take a little while to be calibrated to give you accurate readings.

Extended battery...battery stats

I just recently bought an extended battery for my fassy. As some of us know erasing battery stats in cwm "helps battery life". In reality its showing more accurate battery stats so that it doesnt drop several percent rapidly to compensate. My question is: does it really work like that and will switching between the stock 1500mah and extended battery 2400mah distort the battery reading? Or cause any other problems for that matter....m

I have the naztech 2400 battery. I have wiped my stats after a full charge. Doesn't seen to hurt anything. Mine. Appears to report correctly.

BATTERY CALIBRATION mV

If you use Battery Calibration how many mV do you have at 100% and what rom are you using i used to have 4242mV
now i have 4190mV on trigger redux what do you have im thinking i may need a new battery
4185mV @ 100% - Although I will say that my battery has been all over the place lately. If I unplug it now even though its at 100% it will drop 4-5% immediately. Just saying. Hope this helps

Ok that similar to what I'm getting

Correct battery readings for extended batteries

Is there any setting or mod I can do to get this phone to accurately measure the battery level on my 3500 mah extended battery? It still works but I've been on 1% battery with a flashing light for 4 hours now? I've used battery calibration and manually wiped battery stats in romracer's CWM, but no dice. Any thoughts??

SetCPU

Wondering if anyone has tried this on OG? My battery life is usually good, but lately I have been getting some serious overnight drain. I run battery widget reborn and let it put my phone in airplane mode and silent during my sleep time. Usually battery drain is very minimal, but recently I will sometimes lose as much as 20 percent.
I'm going to load setCPU and will report back.

I do, but the CPU in the LGOG will underclock itself. Cpuspy and antutu benchmark showed me that, and setcpu won't force it higher.

I underclock it to 1026Mhz and seem to get better battery life. I also have profiles in SetCPU to set the CPU frequency and governor when I'm at a certain battery percentage.

Use system tuner. Setcpu is always a little buggy. With me it would force all the cpu cores on.
