PS : after installing, did factory reset, wipe data cache, wipe battery stats .. for each time i installed like i had installed and came to stock 2.1 for abt 8 times...
can u help me plz... i want to go to sonybread v7 sp3f mobile is u20i x10 mini pro, 2.1.1.A.0
Possible solutions :
Try redownloading the ROM you want again and install it.
Try FlashTool to flash the firmware. Search with xda's search engine the following :
2.1.1.A.0.6 GREEK .ftf
It has full guide and included all files you want.
P.S. You don't need to wipe all this, especially Battery Stats, which need wipe only for calibrating battery. Make only Factory Reset/Full wipe.

Check your baseband. If it is .................015, it is normal to have bootloops since the new roms are incompatible with other basebands.
If not, then flash with FlashTool with my guide.

hello everyone
i have xperia x10i and i want to install 2.3 gingerbread on my phone
what i have tried is
put the Release Candidate Cyanogen CM7.0 RC4 v014 stock
!release_CM7RC4_014_alpha
!release_CM7RC4_013
i have tried this by puttting the update.zip on root of my mobile then on xrecovery i have done install update.zip
rebooted
but my mobile is stuck on reboot loop and i have no luck in successfully doing that i have tried 3 roms but none them are working
please help anyone please
Have you tried putting the zip-file in a different folder, e.g. "zip-files", and then move to that folder using the "install custom-zip"-possibility, and then install the ROM?
And do you follow the instructions, like wiping the caches etc.?
Lots of success,
kwarkje
no i have not done this and i have done full wipe
wipe dalvik cache before updating nothings working

Ewjet MIUI etc are ROMs not firmwares. If pc companion or seus don't work then search for flashtool and use this to install global generic firmware. This will put ur phone back to how it was when u first got it

Can you make sure the rom you installed its all requirement matches with your phone ? like baseband kernel version ?
Before you install any rom. make sure u understand everything........
My suggestion is now flash your phone with any Official or 3rd Party flasher to restore its original state.
All you need is here:
MiniCM7
At the moment:
* The kernel you should use (in conjuncture with flashtool) is nAa-09 (given you have a X10 mini and not a X10 mini pro) with the following Baseband: M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015.
* Then install MiniCM7-2.1.7 from your SD-card (rename it update.zip).
* Remember to wipe Dalvik cache! and flash Google Apps. Don't know if you have to do a factory reset from CWM-Recovery, but i would...
ok i followed this thread:
developer forum
i got my phone rooted, i got the bootloader unlocked and confirmed its unlocked (small 'r' in s1tool output). i can get the naa kernel to boot and install the cm7 mini mod and the google apps, but im stuck in bootloop. and yes i wiped everything and redownloaded and reflashed propably 7 times now. i dont know what im doing wrong, the only 'error' i see is something about mkfs ext4 stuff in naa recovery program..
ANY hint/tip/is welcome ?
also, is there another ROM worth checking out for the x10 mini pro ?

You need to flash it not download google apps which is going to be needed for the rom to work. other than that no need to add any more google apps from the market
i dont know why, but it works with latest release 2.19 and -11 kernel. hooray
thanks for the help, tho
after you've done flashing nAa kernel and restart your phone, did you press back button several times.?
If you don't flash Google apps you'll not have Market installed. Try 2011-06-13 signed version and after that remove unwanted apps and update all apps to latest versions. This particular version of gapps is most stable on my phone. I had problems too with other versions.

Same here stuck at bootloop with naa anyone care to let us know how to fix?
Thanks.
Hi,
I had the same problem in u20i. The problem was in the baseband. I had flashed the kernel in the wrong baseband.
Check if you have the right baseband. Reflash the original rom and update via seus first and then try flashing nAa kernel.
This worked for me. Good luck.
stuck

For those of you stuck at booloop, this IS important. You have to make sure you are on baseband 015 for the ROM to work. If you can't check 'cause you're stuck, try downloading and flashing it anyway. If it boots, bingo, you were on the wrong version. If not, then the issue is something else

Redownload the latest kernel and rom and then try..
First i read the little tutorial with st17 dont think it work to sk17i , i try to flash stock .58 with flash tool many times , and with seus Repair for many times , all kernels , roms etc.
downloaded work boot (for active) and instaled the good rom for sk17i only the boot i think it was wrong , it was with red ...i think it was for active , i was in hurry (@work) :crying::crying:
so anyone know about this problem ?
my phone last Waranty day 19.06
So... err.. you flashed an ST17 ROM on your SK17i?
...and now the touch is dead?
Well, have a look see on the thread below. We have a long standing discussion on the matter and some probable fixes you can try.. Good luck mate~
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1713449
I have the same problem. I never installed ROMs on my sk17i and the touchscreen just stoped working.
I already tried to restore by PCC or flashtool, but nope.
I've read that thread, but aren't the solutions for ST15i? And don't i need to have root to try those solutions?
yes it is for st15 / walkman , and root u can get if u install costum kernel but the problem it is not this , it is we can to make the touch to work or we trow the phone ...
i try last night : install x kernel + rom for active the touch worked 40% , then install via flashtool the stock for active the same , then when i go back to my stock for sk17i the touch is dead...
nobody here have a solution ?
update
seems i was flashing first with rage kernel for xperia arc dont now from where the hell i get the kernel , and the all roms it is for mini pro it is ok only the kernel was wrong

If you never flashed any rom, then it's most likely hardware mate. Sending for repairs is your only fix.

If I may not be too late, I also got this problem (flashed lww kernel and ROM on xmp).
Touchscreen and home buttons stopped working, even in recovery.
I flashed paranoid android kernel (the ROM I used before this happened),
Factory reset, format system and dalvik cache in recovery.
Let the phone boot with no system.
Wait....nothing will happen. Then take off the battery and insert again.
The phone is back to normal.
