The home key at the bottom of my photon has stopped functioning. It vibrates when touched, but does not return to the home screen. It started right after I installed TWRP. Erasing twrp and re-installing CWM didn't correct it. Any ideas?
what launcher are you running? could be a setting in the launcher that you need to change.

Zeam. I removed TWRP, reflashed CWM, and restored my data - the home button works now. I'll give TWRP another try soon. Thanks for the help.

nope not other rom install, all i did is the lag fix
should i just do a master reset without any rom install
That happen to me. Always do a backup before flashing. Also, make sure the backup took. Always keep atleast 2 or3 backups too. I learned a hard lesson not keeping more than one. Good luck

you could odin back to stock and try again you might want to use the toolbox
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=954509
Ok...so I was screwing around with my MIUI theme layout on my phone, and all of the Gapps I had on my home screen disappeared from the phone. Not a big deal, a new version of MIUI is out anyway so I figured I'd just flash that. So I did. I flashed the newest MIUI ROM (yes for the I777) and went to boot up. Launcher kept FCing, so much so that all I could do was jump into the messaging app from the lock screen and use the toggles menu to reboot/shut down. I tried pulling the battery and using the two button combo to get into recovery, but that didn't work. it just kept booting up normally.
So from this point I used ODIN to flash back to stock per this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1286432
Everything went fine during the ODIN process, however now it won't go past the AT&T boot animation. Any ideas?
EDIT: Solved problem by booting into 3e recovery via 3-button press. Wiped cache and user data, booted up fine.
Lol was going to suggest that
Glad you got it worked out though.

Hello.
I today Rooted my phone(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24067592#post24067592(Not to blame OP AT ALL)), and I got carried a away a bit. So I downloaded rom Toolbox. And Uninstalled some apps.
I unistalled Does hub's and some other like google+, nothing that could possible, ruin TWlauncher. But it somehow did. Now when I press the home button. It just loads the wallpaper, then goes black, and then it says TWlauncher stopped working.
I loaded up another launcher, and that works fine. I would appriciate any kind of help.
Try a factory reset in the first instance. Failing that, reflash a stock rom then re-root your phone.

I'm running Goodies 2.06 and I can't get rid of the menu soft button & re-map the home button. On 1.7 I had it setup that way but re-flashed everything to get S-off. Now using the same .zip I used before the phone just stalls at the Sprint screen. I had to re-flash the ROM to get it to start up. I tried wiping and flashing the rom then the .zip to re-map and it still hung up. Is there a different .zip now required?

I know you will be loosing everything, well unless you have a backup. I would suggest NVflash back to stock with CWM recovery. Then reload the ROM of choice to see or even just boot it into TapUI so see if the problem is Hardware related or UI related. It is tough to say.
i think its hardware, i gave it a nice hard wack and it seems ok...
the thing is i started to save/backup and go back to tap tap. thinking ill use my warrantee,
now it is stuck in a boot mode, turns on, starts to run but only getting to the tap embelm. it does this over and over maybe 6 second intervals..
any ideas??
i cannot get to cwm, and reload gtab or do anything. am i screwed??

Try NVflashing with the stock 1.1 BL with recovery ver.8 preinstalled, after done power device off by holding down power button. The just boot straight to recovery and do a data wipe factory reset then reboot system. The reason for the boot loop is there is still something on the name that the tnt software doesn't like. After you get it booted up then advice just NVflash 1.1 stock with stock recovery and it should boot right up afterwards. The reason for the 2nd nvflash is to remove any tracef the customs recovery.

Sounds like that you are using the NVflash with Stock recovery. When you hold down volume + and press the power button it is booting into stock recovery hence the triangle symbol. You need to get a fresh NVflash setup that includes CWM recovery and use it.
