My Pantech Breakout gets stuck on the boot screen forever and I need help! I cleared Dalvik cache and all of that and still nothing!
How do I restore it to the stock ROM! Please help!
I have a download link to the stock rom, however, I have no idea how to apply this to my phone! (Remember, It can't boot and I don't seem to be able to tranfer files via computer)
PLEASE HELP!

Hope you hit thanks if it helped.
Hoping to help you out.
EDIT- Oh sorry so you got a link for your stock rom, so google on how to flash stock rom with your device. It's via odin cause in galaxy androids we use odin to flash. Search for flashing method. Then give me the link.

If it is a .tar file you downloaded you just have to download odin any version, install kies to install your drivers in your pc then open odin click PDA then browse your .tar file click start.
Before doing phone should be in download mode. google it. and usb debugging on,

unfortunately... I have only seen odin flash files to samsung devices. odin will not help him with his pantech... sony has flash tool htc has the ruu update utility, and samsung has Odin...
I would recommend finding the stock firmware in a zip file if you can not find the flash tool for it..
rename it update.zip
put it on root of sdcard
boot to recovery and flash zip.
im not sure how pantech is working their recovery or stock firmwares..
My brother in law just brought his pantech magnus to me as it boots to pantech logo and hangs...
unfortunately this device does not have stock firmware available or a flash tool to do it... until it becomes available he has a paperweight... however i can work on all his samsung devices. my sony devices and htc devices no problem...
hope it helps out a little press thanks if the info was at least useful in some way. Goodluck!

1)download the appropriate firmware for your device from www.samfirmware.com.
2)download odin multi downloader.
3)switch off your phone and connect it to the pc via the usb cable. U should've installed the appropriate drivers before this.
4)press home button+volume down+power button, the phone will now enter the download mode. odin will detect your phone showing some yellow box.
5)follow the instructions n install the rom. i hope that you have the required files.
if not, tell me, l post them or give you d link.
Theres no need for reflashing stock rom!
Just flash the attached zip from CWM and you'll get stock recovery back
I've test it my self and worked just fine!
I didint do this!

Flash the proper version which can be found in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457458
I had the same problem. At first I tried flashing the LPH from the Thread Pittoreski mentioned. But it did not work. Then I tried the one for gingerbread (KI3 i think). And that works! The .pit file and re-partitioned did the trick!
but i have just the I9100 version without G/P/M extention

Scroll down in the guide it's explained there how to use Odin properly.
From the FAQ section from the porting team: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739763
If this bricks your phone, and you cant boot or get kernel panic. AT YOUR OWN RISK try re partitioning and flashing a stock sammy rom in ODIN. This is what i did and it worked
You need to download this http://hotfile.com/dl/146321681/7a02...1_OXA.zip.html in odin
CODE_I9100 goes in PDA GT-I9100-CSC-Multi goes in CSC and MODEM_I9100 goes in Phone the .pit file goes in PIT in ODIN then hit start
To easily root and return to CM9(if you want) flash this http://codeworkx.de/download/cyanoge...laxys2.tar.md5 in ODIN. That will flash CM9 and CWMR
---------- Post added at 03:52 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:51 AM ----------
I had one.. i didnt thank flashing a cm9 zip would almost brick my phone, and it shouldn't
Now it works
i had to flash first the kernel
than flash the rom with pit and without bootloader
thanks to neerajganga :good:
My phone crashed while installing an app from play store. It required a battery pull, after which it kept getting stuck on the kernel boot logo (I was on a near-latest JellyBam rom with Siyah kernel). So I booted to CWM. Tried a restore. It failed. Tried wiping data, ok, then it crashed on wiping cache partition. Now it won't boot into CWM anymore. It still has download mode.
Meanwhile my wife is pregnant and as you can imagine this is not the best time to end up without a phone!
Suggestions?

Here is a .zip file containing a backup of the stock Huawei Fusion 2 ROM inside the .zip file is the stock recovery image. You can download the .zip file from here.

What you do is transfer the backup to your sdcard and then use CWMR to restore the stock backup. Restoring the stock backup should replace CWMR with the stock recovery image. For more information I would recommend taking a look at this guide here.

To help me understand what went wrong, do you have Clockworkmod Recovery installed on your device and are you still able to get into recovery mode? What step out of the procedure in thread you linked to failed (Did it fail on step 1, step 2, etc.)? If you can answer these questions I can help you out some more. Also if you need to flash your device back to the stock ROM check out this thread. Let me know if you still have questions I'll be happy to help.

I would recommend transferring this stock ROM to your device by booting into recovery mode, connecting your phone to your computer through USB and then using ADB (Which should be accessible in recovery mode) to push the zip to recovery mode which you can then flash. If you have any questions please feel free to continue asking as I'll be happy to answer them.
I tried updating Cyanogenmod but needed the new gapps, but unfortunately I installed the wrong one. Now I have no way to access my phone as I can only see "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped". On top of that, whenever I try to boot into recovery to install the correct gapps, I am greeted by a blank screen. I have tried reinstalling the recovery with Odin and I am getting the same thing. Any help?
