when entering FASTBOOT Mode (VolUp) then selecting support - repair - you can repair the phone by installing the stock firmware.
NOW: How the PC Companion is identifying the software? Does it D/L the one matching SI on the back or what? If phone is bricked how it identifies the SI?

I followed the steps correctly I'm using flashtool 2.8 i connected my phone it recognized it right away i selected the baseband i wanted to flash it told me to put it into flash mode so i unplugged it turned it off held down the back button and plugged the usb back in and now its not seen my phone at all
You probably need pc companion and SEUS so that the flashtool can recognize the drivers on your phone.
i need to repair whit seus but never ask for repair, i can't with flashtool because i can't turn on the debugging, how can a do this.
I do that, use flash tool and an old version that I had saved and worked to perfection
You don't need usb debugging enabled to flash with the flashtool. Just turn off the phone.
I have problem Pc companion sees my X10 mp like "big" X10 and installing X10 drivers. I can browse my files on card etc but I can't flash kernel in Flashtool I have error no drivers installed. When I pick up my phone in Flash mode my PC freeze and I mus restart PC . I haven't got this problem earlier. My x10Mp is running on nAa 11 kernel.
EDIT
OK I know solution of PC freeze I must run PC in safe mode But Pc companion detect big X10 not x10mp and when I turn phone in flash mode phone is in flash mode about 10 sec then phone normal starts
EDIT2
Sorry for my bad English
try the repair option in PC Companion, it will let you select your model, instead of PC Companion detecting it, you can get to it without even attaching your phone to your computer, just plug it in when it asks you for it (which is the connect in flashmode stage). maybe that way it will work
You will be back on stock firmware, but i guess that can be fixed again.
Well, i try ICS but it was unstable, after repair with pc companion i try to install something more stable, but i am idiot.
I run bootloader succesfull, and then via flashtool flash X10_V1_BLRelock.ftf, and then boom, hardbrick the phone quess, because now nothing workes, wont charge, Led wont even blink, and i cant connect it to PC in anymore...
Is there any way to repair it at home, or it can be repaired only in servis with JTAG... ?
Hello there!
So, my son played minecraft on my phone yesterday and somehow made it upgrade to the latest stock firmware (6.0?).
And now when I boot it up I get a black screen and a small box saying (in swedish) "Unfortunately the interface has stopped",
and every time I click "OK" it comes back up again. I can't access recovery either, plus, when I plug it in to my PC it's recognized
as my Z2, but I have no access to either the memorycard or the phone storage.
I have tried using ADB to make it go into recovery, but the command window just say "Waiting for device" and does nothing, or
say that the device is unauthorized.
Sony PC Companion says that I have to "Swipe down and choose MTP".
So I can't get into the settings on the phone, can't use ADB, and no access to the recovery menu.
Previous CFW was eXistenZ 5.1.1 (I think) with the TWRP recovery.
Can anyone help me get this baby back functional again?
When you (or your son) update to Android 6, you lost the recovery, that have it before.*
Now, connect the phone to computer with Pc Companion for example and repair the software.*
Program Pc Companion will guide you for steps that need to REPAIR your phone.

Like I wrote in the first post, PC Companion only tells me to "Swipe down and choose MTP".
No matter what I do in that program, it doesn't connect with the phone.
The issue has been solved.
I downloaded Xperia Companion, when it told me to activate the MTP function again.
So I removed the USB cable, clicked Software Repair and skipped along.
Then I plugged the phone back in and waited while it was initializing the repair.
After about 10 minutes it told me to remove the USB cable and turn off the phone.
So I did that, then it said to hold the Vol Down button while plugging it back in.
After that it began the software repair which lasted about 1 hour, and now it's on 6.0.1
fully functional.
That's what I recommend you do the program Pc Companion, but ultimately you deal with the new program of Sony, Xperia Companion, I'm glad you're able to handle.
