Did I brick my Photon?? - Motorola Photon 4G

My photon is stuck in a loop while booting thru the initial Motorola splash screen. Here is what happened:
- was running MIUI v4 by Th3Bill (standard install)
- wanted to upgrade and during that change to the Aroma installer
- did a factory reset (full, had USB debugging enabled. After the factory reset it booted back into "virgin" MIUI
- used RSDlite to flash 154_5 sfb, all seemed well (had "repaired" Motorola drivers before)
- removed battery, let sit for a minute or so, inserted, turned on and got the Motorola splash screen loop.
- I am able to get into RSD mode, so I tried installing 198_7 sfb, with same result.
- went into Fastboor, select Android Recovery: it gives me a screen with the Android robot and a little attention sign
Where to go from here?? Please help!
BTW, am a bit new to this ... if you could please elaborate on your advice a bit. Thanks :fingers-crossed:

Well you could go into fastboot. Erase system then enter rsd and flash your sbf. Or unlock via rsd install cwm via fastboot enter cwm format system data and cache then rsd and flash sbf.

Thanks!
What option in fastboot allows me to erase the system, I have
NvFlash
BP HW Bypass RSD
BP HW Bypass QC DLOAD
BP HW Diag & Boot AP
BP HW Bypass BP Only
BP SW Bypass RSD
Android Recovery (Note: which isn't working anymore)
Boot Android (No BP)
Device UID
console=tty50,115200n8
Early USB enumeration
BP Tools
RSD
And once I get there is there a sub-menu or commands I need to use?
I'm gonna have to try this tonight EST after work, and will report back (or ask more q's). Thanks so much for your help!

You have to use moto-fastboot on the pc while the phone is in fastboot mode.

You may also try one more route.
After getting into Android Recovery, when you see the Android with the yellow triangle, press Vol Up and Vol Dn at the same time. You will get options. Wipe data & cache. You should be able to boot up fine after that.

Are you talking abiout the method "Relocking without Full SBF flash" described in the Lokifish Marz Photon Compendum?
If so is the file stock_recovery.smg part of the Moto-Fastboot installation, or where can I find it? The link provided at the2dcour's [PUDDING] Photon/Electrify Pudding bootloader unlock post is dead
I found the nopudding4u.sbf file in the Shabbypengiun post on ACS.
Thanks!

That worked!! You saved my sorry butt, thank you so much!!
Edit: I just tried to get into Android Recovery and realized i still get the yellow triangle warning. Does this mean I lost Stock Recovery? What to do? Can i get it back when flashing 154_5 again? I might need it if I take the phone to Sprint for any repairs later on. BTW: the phone boots and functions fine otherwise except I can't get unlocked.
Thoughts?

Bricked Droid Razr

Hello, I am new to this forum.
I will try to explain the best that I can about how I got into this situation.
I was previously running on ICS 4.0.4(don't really know if it is .211 or .214 or something.). I tried to root it using Matt's Droid Razr Utility 1.7. I didn't really know what to do and was stupid enough to follow the video in the help thread(which was for upgrading from GB rather than rooting an ICS). Then I panicked.
I used option 1, followed by option 9, followed by option 3, followed by option 2, and then all four in random orders. Later on, I realized that I had to recover from the .211 file in the sd card after option 1(failure on my part). However, now whenever I try to enter recovery, I get Invalid Flash Mode Boot failure, whereas a normal boot will give me Invalid Flash Mode Flash failure.
I tried to use ADB tools and it didn't work.
Then I tried Utility 1.81. My driver is the same as the one provided, and the cable is the one that came along with the charger and phone.
My phone carrier is Singtel.
Any way out of this? Thanks in advance.
is it possible to enter fastboot ??
if so try to grab an image in development section wich you can place on your phone with RSD lite.

I can enter fastboot, and only fastboot. Attempting to enter any BP or recovery will result in the failures.
I just downloaded a stock rom for my phone. I'll see how it turns out.
Thank you for your time.
im in a similar situation, my phone is bricked, how do u enter fastboot? and where can i get a rom to use in rsd lite?

Since the thread name is Droid razr i think it is xt912
Go fast boot (power off your phone[if you cant then push and hold vol down+vol up and power button the same time, when you see your display flashed quickly release all buttons and press them again and hold- you should get boot menu and then use vol down to get on AP fastboot and use vol up to select it]).
Then use rsd lite and FXZ files to get your phone running, no need for any kind of wipe after this. Wait until rsd lite says finished.
What fxz files do I use? I've tried like 3 different ones and they always fail

help help. I can not go into recovery mode

I have a photon but I can not enter recovery mode
sbf flash attempt and will not start
Did you carefully follow the instructions of flashing a SBF? What version of SBF was it? What version you had before? What RSD Lite told you during the flash process?
What happens when you try to enter recovery mode? Does your Photon boot normally when you just turn it on?
......
this photon came with 2.3.4 but failed, flashing several times but was still sbf of photon does not start, then unlock the bootloader and try to fix it and nothing, in a desperate push to electryfi sbf flash and however it is not boot boot logo M, I can get into fastboot mode and rsd but does not enter the recovery or boot android
:crying:
I really don't understand anything. What happens when you try to turn on your Photon? Do you get any error like "failed to boot 3" or something? Which version of electrify did you flash?

does not say any error and 2.3.5 sbf electrify just lay on the M RED MOTOROLA, BUT WITH 2.3.4 photon sbf not start. sorry for my English
Never mind, as a non American I understand your feelings, and I'm sorry that I couldn't understand your previous messages. I make English mistakes too.
Now I understand. You will not be able to flash 2.3.4 sbf any more, and your bootloader is permanently locked, since you flashed 2.3.5. Please flash 2.3.5 again if it's not the last thing you flashed. If it is the last sbf you flashed, you don't have to flash it again. After successfully flashing, go to recovery mode by pressing volume down+power on button. Now press volume down about seven times, until you see "recovery mode". Press volume up to get into it. Now after a short time you should see a caution triangle. Press volume down+volume up (I thing that that is the required combination, if it's not working try volume down+power button or something else) to get into recovery mode. Once you see the recovery mode menu, navigate with volume down to "factory reset" or "wipe data" or something else like wipe and reset user data, and choose it with the power button. Confirm your choice, as it may ask you to do, and once the reset or wipe is finished choose "reboot" within the recovery menu. Now you should wait some time, but after all the red M will disappear, and you'll be able to use the phone once it finishes booting. Be patient, it may take some time.
Hope this helps. Have a nice day!

Hi there, I just unlocked my phone. I attempted to reboot into fastboot protocol suport by pressing the volume down button and power. Phone is n the dual core screen and says "UNLOCKED STARTING RSD PROTOCOL SUPPORT". Is there a safe way to exit this so that I can get into fastboot protocol support. Thanks

Hi thanks, I have ATT. I was walked through the process and am good to go now. I was softbricked. Thankyou for helping.
too bad... It is risk, but you can flash 2.3.6 via RSD
Or, if you can turn on Fastboot (try to Vol - w/o battery, insert the battery, plug to PC via USB), then flash recovery and flash zip file

Boot - ,,Recipe Failure"

I have Motorola Droid Razr XT910 and by RSD I did an update from ICS 4.0.4. to JB 4.1.2. and I decided I want to go back to GB 2.3.5. or 2.3.6. because of the battery life, what is now on JB really short, but I failed of course, so I'm stuck in AP Fastboot mode every time I want to turn my phone on, It will show me this:
Code:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S) (Recipe Failure)
0A.77
eMMC Info: Size 16G
To return to normal mode - first press power key to power down
Device is LOCKED. Status Code: 0
And phone is stuck in it, so I need to turn it off, and then power button + vol up + vol down and go through the normal powerup. I have tried another JellyBeans but the problem is in bootloader. I saw here on xda one post telling me I have to flash the radio - I did that about 100 times and I failed... I flashed radio (empty radio) and then in recovery did a wipe data and cache - when i go to recovery after flashing radio, phone will start loading something, maybe the radio, BUT! When it's done, phone will again show me recipe failure...I think I need to unlock bootloader to do a full wipe data and everything, and again start from over. I saw about milion posts here about this problem but with no result... Someone please help me

Yes, I did. I tried to first delete cache and everything and then flash new JB, or just flash it, or flash and then delete cache and data.

What do you mean "delete cache"?
Here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2231289 are the JB Fastboot files
Here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42057363/RSDLite_v6.1.x.zip is RSD Lite 6.1.5
Here https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/88481/action/auth are the Motorola drivers
Install drivers,install RSD Lite
Start RSD Lite, click on 3 dots next to empty bar, find JB Fastboot file that you downloaded, click open and then "decompress only"
When program finish that, shut the phone off, press vol- vol+ and power button, choose AP Fastboot, connect the phone with usb cable to the computer, wait a program to recognize the phone and then press start in RSD Lite.

I also have the recipe failure and have tried all of these steps (and many others) to try and fix the "recipe failure" at boot.
