Has anyone used both & can comment on battery consumption & usability?
I'm using LauncherPro and have a feeling it's not as smooth as it should be on a phone with these specs.
Rooted & have frozen the recommended apps.

I've tried both of the above launchers and personally feel that Go Launcher EX runs smoother on my Atrix. The only issue I have with it is that the homescreens are limited to 5 x 5. I've cleaned up a lot of the junk apps and am getting decent battery life out of it now. Unplugged since 6 this morning, low to moderate use and I'm at 70% at 2 pm.

The reason I think go launcher limits you to 5x5 is so when you put it in landscape every thing fits vertically. I would like to see the app drawer open faster but other than that I love go launcher.

what should be frozen to get optimal use?
I have paid versions of both and find them both to be smooth. I'm using LauncherPro Plus, as I like it's Facebook & Messaging widgets. Cheers.

I agree. None of the market launchers are as smooth as motoblur. I keep installing adw, go and or launcher pro and then uninstalling within a few hours because they aren't super smooth in transitions.

Hm. Am trying Go Launcher since an hour and I have to admit it feels & looks much smoother than LauncherPro..

Go Launcher EX looks great....
Have to agree too that LauncherPro is not as smooth as it should be with these specs. But I'm still sticking to it since it is more customizable. Guess we just have to wait for the rewrite version of LauncherPro
I find that go launcher is not battery-friendly and i would like to ask which launcher is better

Stock TouchWiz launcher for the win. Super smooth and I love it. If you don't like TW though, I'd go with GoLauncher - it seems to be ssecond best for battery.

Zeam is the most energy efficient, as it is the simplest and smallest launcher.
But In terms of configuration and functionality GoLauncherEX is the winner !
Stock seems to work well for me. Updated to KI4 (2.3.5) and battery life is quite good.
Ive been usign tsf and spb shell. Tsf options are awsome but they both kinda eat up a lot of battery. With the right rom and JD settings ive gotton up to 2 days without charging. Still looking for a Launcher thats the best though
apex launcher pro
I'm using GSM EVO 3D "SHOOTER_U"
tried sense 3.5 and its very very smooth and like 60fps !! and gpu acceleration is way better (maybe "2.3.5" is the reason?)
apps like go launcher work more smooth than on sense 3.0
but sense 3.0 is more stable and has less glitches
so what do you advise?
which is better in your opinion and why?

I would say that most of the glitches you see on 3.5 is because the copy your running isn't native for our device. I know that if HTC decided to give us 3.5 we wouls have a much better experience.

Thanks
Temp+Cpu V2 in the market.
puts a 1X1 widget on your desktop that shows free Ram, Batt Temp, cpu usage, and clock speed.
have been using it forever....works great.
Is it compatible with Galaxy S3?
Yes
Temp+CPU PRO

thank you very nice applications ^^
I need a widget that monitors BOTH cpu and battery temp. Anyone have any suggestions?
[ LG NEXUSâ´ / LIQUIDSMOOTH / FRANCO / POETIC BLK BUMPER / APEX PRO / TAPATALK PRO ]
Does you clock lag on 4.2? Am I the only one?
It's especially laggy in the alarms page.
