[Q] Problem on boot - HTC Desire X

Hi all,
Yesterday I completely drain my battery on my Desire X.
I've recharged it but ... the led still orange (no green as fully recharged) and the phone doesn't boot ... the screen still black ... no vital signs.
If I connect phone to battery recharge, the led become orange ... but the behavior still the same ... black screen and no vital signs.
I've tried with VOL DOWN+POWER but nothing happens ... no recovery screen, only a black screen.
Could anyone help me? Is my phone dead?
Thanks in advance

If your bootloader is bricked, you can only go to a service.

Thanks a lot xpirit.
I haven't installed any custom Rom, there is the original one. I've bought the phone in Germany because I was not able to find it in Italy so the Rom is branded T-Mobile.
Could my bootloader be bricked without any action on Rom or phone (it is not rooted)?
Thanks again

Try with another battery... Your battery can't start the phone, and it can't accept charge because you can't boot to android or recovery...
Flowed from my HTC branded muffin...

s200 G4 out after upagrade to wm6

Hi everybody,
i've got a big problem with my s200 G4.
when i flash it ti wm6, it work about 1 day, and after it freeze.
since, i can't turn on it. When i plug the power supply, no LED :/
I try the battery on an other S200 (i've got 3 ) and the battery is ok.
Anyone got the diagram of the motherboard ?
Other idea ?
Hello
I have the same problem
Do you found the solution ?
lot of people have the same problem
Hi,
After open my S200, i think this is a capa out :/
Lot of people after upgrading the s200 have got the same problem. Freeze , reboot..freeze ....and never work again
Have you got a red led ? orange ?
charging ok ?
i had the same probleme
the solution is to remove the battery for 24 hour after plug it in the usb with ur computer until the charger leed appear
after change the rom to a wm5 rom and it will work perfectly.
i think the reason of this probleme is the ipl version must be 2.20 beafore upgrade to wm6
tried and failed :/
Hi,
I test your technic, but doesn't work. Now, when i plug the charger, i've got the red led 1 second, and ....nothing. it doesn't won't to switch on
i try the trick with the pins...but doesn't work
tried and failed :/

Hi,
Same problem, when I put the charger in I got one sec red led. But I can hard reset or enter bootloader, when on the charger, but there is no way to put USB when the charger is in. Which pins are + and - battery?
If any Prophet can enter bootloader, it can be recovered. See the wiki for a how to.
prophet with white screen and red led
hi everybody.
After trying again and again the pin trick, the s200 went to a blank screen, white with the red led.
I wish it reboot again...
if you got any idea to enter bootloader when i've got white screen ....
Can it enter bootloader? Hold down the camera button and soft reset.
the same problem
i have G4 with ipl and spl 2.20 and on switching on it freeses with white screen. it goes to bootloader, but except WWE ship 220 update others can't be loaded.
Sometimes it goes to screen "Windows mobile", but then freeses.
Is any solutions? Thanks

Yes i try again and again...but ...
white screen ( flashing )and red led :/
snif snif
Try to enter bootloader (soft reset and camera button), it doesn't matter if it shows nothing, disable activesync connect through USB, and try to flash a WM5 ROM.
Ok, i'm trying it this evening...
But when i plug the s200 on my PC, nothing show the phone is connected (USB mode on winXP or on the tel )
Well...i tell if your tips work tomorrow =)
The point of this technique is to reduce the number of points it could fail, and remove the requirement for the previous ROM to work. The RUU for shipped ROMs can establish a connection without activesync.
Well ...
But i forget to say ...the s200 can't power on when it's plug on USB...it power only with the charger
With USB, no LED, no screen ....
Have you got a tips to connect the phone with charger+USB cable ?

As you didn't root it, claim warranty...
thank you but in my country (Iran) there are not official warranty and guaranty services. but there are a lot of Repairman and i must pay a lot of money to them to repair this.
if it is hard brick , i guess one the chip in phone is damaged . the phone is connected to pc via usb when the battery was low and it had a power fluctuation .
i saw a lot of people in xda and another forum looks like me . they had this problem with Htc desire x , one s , one , desire ...
They could not do anything . they sent theirs to Htc guaranty service.
i appreciate for your regard :good:
Same thing happened to me. Mine is HTC Desire X dual sim.
Last night I was trying to Root my phone.
Successfully unlocked the bootloader and installed the custom recovery. then problem occurred due to Superuser itself cannot update binary SU as it could not access root.
Then flashed a Superuser from custom recovery. During these process I did not turned my phone off instead restarted it.
But then from that custom recovery option I powerd it off. That was the biggest mistake. After that I am unable to turn it on.
It only shows Red (Orange) LED while plug in it with USB or charger. Removing and Reinserting the Battery after 5-10 mins and trying to turn it on gives nothing other than only 5/7 Vibrations after a while.
So researched about it and found out this one problem occurred to many out there, and no solution what so ever.
I bricked my phone, lost my warranty all at the same time last night. Lost hope, as its totally dead and have to pay for it to repair.
Then I unplug the charger and removed the battery and gone to bed.
This morning I put the battery back and pressed the power button for 5-10 secs to see if it turning on or not. But it did not.
But after a while it turned back on automatically with the power on sound. I was very surprised. The Superuser thing is also working now.
I am afraid, I should not power it off completely from now on. As like ever!!. But that is ridiculous. So what was the main reason behind this issue? Is that because of Custom Recovery/ Rooting/ any hardware like motherboard or something (It is not the power button as I can check now it is working) else??
I don't know what is the reason behind it. But If anybody tell me how to get back to stock recovery so that I can Switch off my phone without having a fear of never can turn it on, will be appreciated.
Thanks.

The custom recovery on this forum is not meant for the Desire X dual sim. That's why it doesn't work

[Q] Desire X wont boot

Hi,
I flashed my desire X with the InsertCoin-2.2.0-rom. It started fine, but now will not start anymore after a shutdown.
When I plug it in, the LED stays orange. And after a while it vibrates 7 times. I cannot get it to boot to normal mode or recovery mode.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to solve this?

Looks like you're in bad luck and got a hard brick. You can't access fastboot mode? If yes, you could reflash recovery. Also, did you do the S-OFF?

Nope, can't access the bootloader (Vol down + Power right?) either. Out of luck I'm afraid. Bootloader was unlocked, think HTC will still repair this?

You can always try, it's all you've got. Just pretend you didn't know what happened to your phone, if you are in luck they will repair it for free (if you still have warranty).

OK, so after a night without the battery it came back to life. But it turns out I have the Desire X Dual-Sim version... I did not know there were 2 versions.
Does anyone know if a ROM (stock or Custom) can be found somewhere for the DS version?

Is my Moto E hard bricked? [Noob]

Hello, everyone!
As you might guess I don't know if my device is hard bricked.
It began when I rooted my Moto E, installed a ROM and then the battery started to discharge way too fast than normal.
I tried to calibrate the battery but it didn't work, at some point the battery only lasted a couple of hours until one day my device turned off and it didn't turn on again.
When I plug the original charger or any other, only the white led blinks, I have already changed the battery for a new one, but the same thing is happenning, only white led blinks.
It is possible to "suddenly" hard brick a device? Because the only thing I did was to unlock the bootloader and install a ROM (Cardinal AOSP 1st and then cm-13.0-20161108-NIGHTLY-condor)
(Sorry for the mistakes, not native english)

Press and hold power button for 30 seconds, then release power button
Then connect your mobile with pc/laptop
Let it be charged for an hour
Then reboot it into fastboot and flash stock lollipop

Hey, thanks for your help.
I know how to enter into fastboot mode and all that stuff... but when I try to turn on my device, nothing happen, and if I connect my Moto E to the PC the device manager detects it as: qhsusb_bulk
It appears that the boatloder corrupted itself for some reason, a lot of people have the same issue.
I think it is hardbricked, but if you have some info that could help me, I'd be grateful
1st try to unlock bootloader if you are not able to do that, try to flash stock firmware this may help you
And please send screenshots of all the stuff that you can access in ur bricked device...! It will be helpful for me to understand
