Can't kill auto add widgets. - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Help...I don't want my apps to show up on my home screen every time I download them from the play store. I already unchecked auto add widgets from the options on the play store app. Anyone experiencing this?

I'm experiencing this same problem for the SGH-I337M with Rogers Wireless (Canada). It's really annoying.
If anyone can offer any insight, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Edit:
Just a few minutes later and I've solved it! The problem is with Nova Launcher, for me anyways.
Nova settings > New Apps
For some reason Nova Launcher overrides the Play Store settings. So you have to make sure this is disabled in the Play Store and in Nova Launcher

Yes nova Launcher will auto add new apps besides play store

Theres a setting in Nova that auto adds apps. Go into Nova Settings>New Apps and uncheck "Auto Add Shortcuts"

[Q] Apex Launcher not removing uninstalled app icons.

I am running Apex Launcher Pro and have started to notice a problem. When I uninstall apps that I have in folders in Apex Launcher Pro, the icons for those apps are not being removed when i uninstall the apps. I uninstalled roughly 30-40 apps not too long ago and they are all still present in my app folders on my desktop. Is there a way to have Apex remove these icons when uninstalling apps? Currently I have to go and test icons to see if the apps are installed or uninstalled in order to test them, which can be quite annoying if you have a large number of apps.
I am running the latest Apex on a Verizon GS3 running Synergy ROM.
Thanks in advance.
Still looking for info on this.

Try restarting from apex settings

Nope =/
They are not cleared out after a restart. Restarting phone, installing Apex updates, restarting the launcher, or having Apex crash and reload all fail to clear the uninstalled apps.
I am intentionally leaving these in my folders for testing purposes, but I have failed to find a fix. I have paid for both Apex Pro and Nova Pro and have been an Apex user for a long time now. I may have to switch to Nova if I can't figure out what is causing this, but I would prefer to find a fix as I enjoy Apex.

Xposed Dpi Settings?

Can someone post there DPI settings so you could get dual panel settings in settings? I can't figure out what they are

I use that setting on email, settings, Nova settings, and contacts. Its also pretty cool using it on calendar ... But you only see the effect when you select an individual day and look at it.

How do you access Nova settings? All I see listed on mine is Nova Launcher, and when I made the adjustments there, it resized my screens.

[Q] Coming from iPhone, so I'm a newbie HELP

I was accessing Google Play Store and an update was needed. It waited all night and it was still waiting. Trying to "fix" things, I accidently deleted the Google Play Store icon. I can go to Setting>Applications Manager and the app is still running, but I can't get the icon back on my Nova home screen. I am using Nova Launcher if that makes a difference on my s4. When I return to the Touchwiz home page, the the Google Play Store icon is there. I just can't move it over to the Nova Launcher home page.
Can someone please help this Android idiot?
Thanks in advance.

Home Screen Shortcuts For New Apps Are Not Automatically Created

Hey,
I've recently updated my Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) from CyanogenMod 10.2 to 11.0. Everything works perfectly fine, except for one thing: when I download new apps from the Play Store, Launcher doesn't create home screen shortcuts to them, although the "Auto-add widgets" box in the Play Store settings is checked. I tried installing a few other launchers, in which shortcuts were created.
Thanks in advance!

That's auto add widget, not auto add apps.
Smack that Thanks button if I helped!

P.S. Time for school, not much time for XDA

There is no "Auto-add apps" option. I Googled it and this check-box does seem to be the one. Any idea why it's still not working?
I use "Nova" launcher, and "auto-create widget" from play store couldn't create new shortcuts.
In nova settings I had to use "Auto-add shortcuts" under "settings->" "New apps".
Don't know how it work with other launchers

I can't find that option in the built-in launcher.
Then try to look under "settings -> launcher -> drawer", see if u can find any usable options there.
(At least that is how it is on my other device, cm based)

Shortcuts doesn't appear on Home screen after apps are installed

Hi,
I use latest Nova launcher (Premium) and CM11 (nightly). But the same happened with CM10 stable and nightlies.
When I install new app - shortcut doesn't appear on my homescreen. I remember long time ago (I think that was in ICS stock launcher) - shortcuts would appear. But not anymore.
Automatically add widgets checkbox is checked in the Play Store Settings.
I even reinstalled fully Nova. No success.
Any ideas how to fix that?
Anyone?
Nova settings
New apps
Check the box
I believe its off by default now as many may not like apps just showing up
