[Q] Noob Un-Brick Question - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

I'm sorry to be that noob and ask this, but a friend of mine recently bricked their Prime Tablet (32gb running ICS if your wondering) by installing TWRP 2.5 and gave it to me to try to fix.
After spending a good amount of time searching for a solution and finding that there is none i thought to ask here if anyone has any suggestions.
I was also wondering if there was a way to un-brick it by using a working tablet as I also have a Prime (64gb also running ICS).

I'm having the same issues with my dad's Prime. I've been searching for a while but I can't find a solution anywhere.

[Q] Troublr with rooted nook tablet

Fisrt let me say thank you to all who contribute! Two weeks ago I had no clue this info was available for us common folk. I was given a Nook Tablet for Christmas, researched it's capabilities and found xda. I did successfully root it(thanks to Indirect and the grace of God).It worked majically but I powered down and upon restart I have lost ability to access android market, android keyboard, or TitaniumB Pro. Any help at all would be appriciated greatly!

That most likely means that you got the upgrade to 1.4.1 so you lost root and sideloading. You'll have to go back to stock 1.4.0 then root and block that OTA as much as you can again.

Well that blows lol, I tried to do the ota block with TB, that;s why I paid for it but I guess I didn't do it all the way. I went thru 3 different computors to get the root and ended up having to do it at work so i guess I'll go thru that process again and see what happens. Thank you for your input. I have alot alot to do today but when I get to it I'll relay the outcome.
And btw, all of you here at XDA are AWESOME!
Be sure to check to make sure it is at version 1.4.1 before doing a downgrade.
Right now it still says "unknown" as if it's rooted, does that mean it still is?
Veronica, I know its been a long tike since we used this thread. I gave up on my nook for awhile when I got my new phone but I picked it back up in time to get your CM7 ics ribbon mod. Its been over a month since I did it and its preformed flawlessly! Very pleased and content with it so wanted to say thank you very much, excellent work!

Is it possible to access my internal SD card for storage? I've looked everywhere to find a way to use it but can't find anything so now when I go to download games it won't due to insufficient space. I thought this rom was allowing free access to that sdcard but i could be wrong. Thx!

[Q] Anyone Have Solution To Running Nook Kids on Android

Anyone found a solution to running Nook Kids on CM? I suppose I could look toward a dual boot solution but I doubt I am interesting in going back to stock even for a few minutes just for this. If anyone has any leads I would appreciate it. thanks

[Q] Root Visual Prestige 7L w/4.1.1

I decided to be cheap and buy this tab from tiger direct for my brothers b-day. It was supposed to come with ICS, and after searching around figured out how to install Google Play and that it came rooted.
Came in the mail today, took it out of the box... it was upgraded to JB 4.1.1 and was not rooted. I'm just learning the intricacies of the android operating system and am nowhere near being able to root it myself, and I would have no idea where to start. I've searched around for the past couple hours and came up with nothing. Does anyone know anything about this tablet and how to get it so it's rooted and can get a workaround to get google play?

Help rooting a Bush Spira B1 10.1" Tablet. Malware?

Hi I'm fairly new to the rooting scene but i have rooted a Samsung device in the past and installed cyanogen.
I have done a lot of searching online and on XDA Forums. I cant find much info about rooting this tablet. It comes from Argos in Ireland and the UK. I think it is fairly new and it is inexpensive. From searching on here actually, i gather the Argos Bush tablets are rebranded Archos tablets. a google search will come up with oneclickroot but they dont support this device.
I had been directed to ask for help here by a Recognised Contributor in XDA Assist forum
its running android 5.0.1.
Is there any other info you need?
Many thanks to anyone who can point me in the right direction.

The reason i want to root is that it looks like i got some malware. BroService and Linervice.
They can be uninstalled but reinstall themselves fairly quickly. AVG recognises BroService as harmful and promts to uninstall but thinks the other one is safe. When installed they serve pop up adds that sit on the right hand bottom corner.
They arent on the tablet after a factory reset but they do arrive again eventually. I had been very careful whith what apps i installed since i noticed them and tried the factory reset to get rid.
A friend has the same tablet and he has them to. I know 2 others with the smaller 8" version and they also have them so im thinking it comes on the tablet. The strange thing is none of us had it at first, it only showed up later. For me i had 3 weeks without them the first time, last time maybe a week and this time they are not back yet since the factory reset a few days ago.
Hi did you ever get this sorted out? I have an archos tablet and it came with the same malware.

Help with LG Lucky L16C

Good day everyone, I got a Net 10's LG L16C phone today, at first it was all good since I needed a new phone, but then I discovered this particular phone doesn't have a sim slot, which is bad since I don't like in the states so I can't use their pre-paid services, so I decided to use it for the apps and the like, I have an old galaxy 2 I777 which is still good but using the wifi and apps drain the battery fast, so it's just for calls.
Long story short, I want to install a custom ROM to the LG phone but I haven't had any luck finding any, does anyone know where I can get a ROM for this particular phone? or some way to upgrade at least to android 4.4.4? This phone is 4.4.2 by default. Thank you for your attention and a have a great day
After digging a little more.
I've been researching for the past few days to no avail, there doesn't seem to be a custom or official ROM upgrade for this particular phone, if someone knows something about it I would appreciate the help
(bump)
I don't think you'll find any. I had this phone gave to me so our team could dump the system and add it to our root/frp collection. FRP wouldnt apply to this but the one click root would. Also thought about a simple custom rom. Problem with these LG tracfone variants is you cant get into download mode. At least thats what our team has found out so far messing around with a Rebel now this Lucky. Might be a way but so far weve not totally looked into it. If you do find anything out there please share it with everyone. Im sure a lot of people with this $10 phone would be happy to have the advantages those of us with more higher end units have. I have to sell this phone after IF we get a dump. Wish me luck.
