first many thanks to percy_g2 you rock!!!
I cant write in the main dev tread so I am giving my Experience and problem in this rom .
I install this rom over the old 10.1 rom by percy_g2 , again you rock!!!
flash work prefect no problem,
just dalvik wipe.
the bug I noticed for build 3 :
nfc not working , the app said no nfc chip exist in device
torch not working ,
screen wont go to lockscreen
in "system setting" button option" fc
50% of app that used gps FC like waze ( had the same problem with 10.1 )
camera working but not original app for camera like supercam ( that work on 10.1 ) wont work.
home button not working
radio not working ( I think is because it the same chip with bluetooth )
that all for now.
I will flash build 4 and let you know if some change.
again many tanks
and if i can help in any way ask.
i flash build 4 no change in my bugs...
just that the "RED Border" came back... I did the fix again in the build.prop : persist.sys.strictmode.disable=1 ( work like a charm )
this build feel more stable ... less buggy
reboot form the goo.im manager to recovery work perfect...
no need for hard reset or after boot to press volume -
work like a charm.
dl build 5....
will update if any change...
again thanks for all your work percy_g2!!!
installing build 5...
flash ok...
will check change and update...
kernel
Hi, which kernel are you guys using? Firstly, i didn't know that in percy's zip one is included so i was using old one, from 10.1, then, flashed the new one and most of lags dissapeared. But still can't get access to CWM, only via fastboot flash kernel but in first time, later isn' more accessible.
in system setting : buttons option working but changes not applied... home still not working...
and red border is back...
no other change that I can see..
I will keep checking
this build work a lot faster then the rest... even the boot....
:good::good:

Since the section's becoming a bit messy I'll explain the complete (and fast) procedure to get CM7 on your mini and mini pro
As usual I presume you know what you are doing and I really suggest to read the all tuto before start. Moreover you should realize that you'll lose almost all SE native stuff (camera app, music player, timescape,etc...see here nevertheless )
3 steps are required :
I. Unlock your bootloader
There are 2 ways :
-The software way : approved by SE, may lose warranty, definitely lose drm (tip: don't dl the all andro sdk as required by SE, just use the fastboot package below)
http://unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com/instructions (detailed steps here (part A)
-The hardware way : keep drm, may lose warranty too
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285285
Click to collapse
II. Install the recovery
You have to use the fastboot command and flash a modified boot.img provided in FXP kang version (in official CM from version 7.1.0.1 too)
1. Download your device's version http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1226715
2. If you used the Hardware way to unlock your bl, download fastboot package from here http://www.multiupload.com/BMJ24IL6XY and extract it on your computer, if you used the Software way, you already have these files, you can skip this step
3. Extract the boot.img from (1.) to your flashboot folder just created
4. Dl the android driver provided by SE here http://unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com/downloadinf.zip
5. Shut down your phone, then holding VOL+ button plug the usb to your pc
6. Wait til windows show the popup of "installing new hardware" and point to the drivers folder. Once done you are in fastboot mode (blue led)
7. Open a cmd from your fastboot folder on the pc (holding shift and right clicking at the same time)
8. Enter "fastboot flash boot boot.img" (without the "" ^^)
9. 5s later you must see a ok in the cmd window, you're done

III. Flash CM
2 options again, the official way or the kanged FXP
A_If you want the official CM, download your device's version here :
CM (for mini) : http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=smultron
CM (for mini pro) : http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=mango
Then the Gapps : http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php?title=Latest_Version#Google_Apps
1. Put both files on your SD card, reboot the phone and when it start, keep pushing the VOL- button til you get into the recovery (Navigate with vol and menu button, get back with power)
2. "Wipe data/factory reset" then in advanced "Wipe dalvik cache"
3. "Install zip from Sd card", flash cm, then gapps
4. Reboot and voila
Click to collapse
B_If you want the kanged version from FXP (original dev):
Extract the zip files from the previously FXP download and flash it the same way as above
FXP's version can be slightly more advanced and optimized than the official since his versions are first provided on xda, then through official CM

I'll edit this topic soon with more details and requests if needed
Of course a huge thx to FXP for porting CM to xperias and DooMLoRD for his general dev support!
Will try CM7.0.1 on my device soon but I read about three bugs in the CM7.1.0 has it been resolved ??
Thanks for the tutorial
Not yet but for the mini, it's small bugs...not really annoying
One more thing, is it possible to revert back to the previous rom ??
Sure, you can nandroid or simply go back to stock with an original firmware and flashtool
sorry if this is the wrong area for this post but since i can't post on dev area yet i put it here:
1- this is my first android phone and i like it more now with CM7
2- keyboard bug is not that big of a deal
3- backlight issue already fixed
4- hope they fix the camera and flash issue soon
now with my issue (which is why i mentioned the dev area before), there seems to be a problem, at least i had it, with CM7 and pin locked sims, i had to go back to stock rom to unlock it because CM7 just wouldn't accept my pin, i gues i'll have to keep it pin unlocked and wait to see if it's a bug or just had bad luck, anyway i'm getting back on CM7 as we speak, so just for precaution i suggest you unlock your sim before you go into CM7, but like i said, maybe it was just me (although, i believe i saw someone with this problem in dev area).
great ROM and thanks to the developers for the great job.
I have a mini without simlock and cm keeps asking me to unlock every reboot (even I can enter my pin), I just cancel and no problem. This sim problem will be fixed soon for sure

i was able to use CM7 too by canceling the request of pin at the startup, but i had no gsm signal, it said there was no sim inserted or something about the sim being locked, can't remember which one but it just wouldn't accept my pin even from the settings menu; everything else was working just fine (except for the known issues ).

Recovery Part Explained
If you have installed cm rom to backup the existing system then to restore completely to the present state just the backup will not work you have to flash back the same existing rom for it to work again. I switched to cm7.1.0.1 and then back to rooted stock kernel
Just the restore didn't work for me until I flashed the original rom. So now I am back to rooted SE kernel . Waiting for all the bugs to be fixed before I switch to CM

Hi.
I want to get back to stock rooted SE kernel too. I think that I have to follow these steps:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16659481&postcount=33
Do I have to flash boot.img (SE kernel rooted) first, then firmware?... Or, what's the order?. firmware then kernel?.
Thanks in advance.
I assume u are right now in cm with free xperia rom and had taken a backup with cm rom. In that case restore using the cwm and then flash the rom which you had flashed before installing cm7.1.0 .
I didn't flash firmware just did the restore and flashed the previous rom which Ihad. It worked for me
Hey.
I have Samsung Tab 10.1 GT-P7510(Wifi version I think), after updating it to official ICS, instaling CWM via Odin, the screen in recovery mode is jumping.
Searched the forum, found the bootloader fix, the recovery stopped jumping, I rooted the devise, flashed new ROM (Revolution something), and every time the screen is turning off it is starting to jump again, the only way of fixing it is to restart the devise until the screen deems again, or instal the stock ROM to fix it permamently, but it sucks.
The only solution that I found on the forum was the bootloader I already installed.
Can any one help a noob pls?
Thank you
I have the same problem and still suffering from it i did not found any material to fix it. Lets see may be some one will help us...

It is what is stopping me from rooting my ICS Stock version. CWM load results in rolling recovery screen and fixing that with bootloader results in rolling wake-up screen. Have reloaded HC 3.2 and run the ICS update again to fix it. This has been covered in quite a few other threads, but none of them is fixing Stock ICS rooting... CM10 or equivalent ROMs will remove that problem, but I am still under warranty, and if something happens...
Hey guys, FYI I I had the Rolling problems Recovery and wake! but I recieved my P7510 back from samsung repair, I bricked it....and it came back with factory installed ICS on it I swore I was not going to Root or try ROMs for awhile!
Three days later I had flashed;
Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) 2.2.2.1 - GT-P7510 HERE via Odin.
Toldo's "Stock ICS roms, rooted, deodexed, zipaligned UELPL" for GT-P7510 aka the WiFi tab from HERE. With no rolling Recovery or from wake!
Then I decided to flash via TWRP, Toldo's JellyBeanRom ICS v7 from HERE then flashed Yoda's Kernel v2.2 from HERE No Rolling anything I love how my Tab is running now!
I have not tried CWM as of yet but try out TWRP, I didn't get any rolling with just TWRP and Factory installed ICS and if you want a good Stock Rooted ICS HERE!
It's just 2 flashes a way it will take less time than troubleshooting and waiting for an answer!

I had the same problem you are having when I first tried installing pershoot's recovery and bootloader for CM10.
Here is how I fixed it:
1. Flash recovery via odin. When tab reboots hold volume down to boot into download mode.
2. Flash bootloader via odin, When tab reboots hold volume down to enter recovery.
3. Wipe cache and davlik, flash ROM.
During this process my tab would get the rolling screen during the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 screen and wouldn't stop after each step if I didn't hold down volume key during reboot.
Now I am on CM10 with no rolling screen and no SOD.
Hope this helps.

FYI... I flashed the bootloader and the recovery through the PDA slot on odin.
Exactly the same problem here, I tried countless ways but none is working, currently downloading the UK version ICS to see if the same problem will occur or not
EDIT: Same problem as before
What is cousing this problem? Not every one have this but it is pretty common, is it the soft or the hardware?
Trying all the solutions now...
The recovery process described here:
http://www.androidauthority.com/gal...kmod-recovery-5-5-0-4-custom-recovery-102580/
Should install 5.5.0.4, which works for me. Assuming, of course, that you're device is a P7510.

Go to http://droidbasement.com/galaxy/roms/cm10/p4wifi/
Download and unzip 4.0.4 booatloader ZIP.
Download recovery.tar.md5
I had to play with it a few times to get it to work but I flashed both of them via the PDA slot in odin. I also didn't change the file name in anyway before I flashed them.
This is what i used to fix my rolling screen which rendered my tablet useless, I still get a flicker from time to time when using the tablet in general. I believe this is a problem with the rom and not with the bootloader or recovery.
Found a solution, not the best, but it is working for me.
The problem was in the bootloader, it was trashing the ROMs, so I installed 5.5.4.0 memoriezed the path to the .zip in the recovery mod, flashed stock ICS, flashed recovery, placed the ROM.zip in the general directory on the tablet, booted to recovery.
It was rolling, the path is
Volume Up (Right) - Instal zip
Power - Enter
Power - Choose zip from internat sd card
Volume Down (Left) - ***Go Back***
Volume Down (Left) - is the last file\dir in the list, if you plase only the rom there, you cant miss.
Power (Enter aka install this)
Volume down x5 times to go from no to yes
Power (Enter) Wait to install to complete a few minets, you will see the color change in the flickering ><
Volume Down (Left) - Go Back
Power - Enter
Power - Reboot Now
The new rom installed, working (For me atleast), the recovery is still broken, but if you leave only one .zip file there you can use this path every time.
This is for desperate ppl like me, that none of the solutions above worked for them. It workes on CWM 5.8.X.X too
Hope I helped.
Still waiting for a normal fix

Nope, sorry, i'm affraid that you have to format your system partition and reflash the rom. (If you don't touch to the data partition your datas won't be lost).
For an alternate solution... Well you can try to install a slim gapps (I saw a link for one in the CM 10.1 thread. Or simply google it.)
what about deleting via Android ?
will it affect something positive ?
isnt there any zip for recovery mode ?
ok if not i could flash again but i want to keep my apps downloaded from the store

That's exactly what I was saying. th only way to remove the gapps is to reflash the rom, and if you don't wipe the data partition, your apps will be fine. I you encounter any kind of problem in android after doing that, you will have to wipe your data partition though...

Yes of course, but there's not only apks in the gapps zip. There's also libs and a bunch of other things, so if he really want to fully uninstall gapps, or he'll have to remove everything manually, or he will have to reflash the rom. And in my opinion, the second way is really simpler.
Hi its been along time ago .. since ive actually used to post . ive recently installed this rom ( [rom] [28.08.13] myONEdx+ RC3.0 (JB | Sense 4+ Lite) ) about 4 month ago . and recently my desire x started to act strange . ive tried to revert back my self . but with no luck . i have root S-ON and hboot 1.24 ICS . yes thank you i have this link . but my question is that when i go to hold power button plus volume . its enters the developer mode but it doesnt shows me the recovery like i had previuosly TWRP .. when i move to recovery menu its restarts ( because when i installed the myonedx rom by you . it installed in place of recovery memory so it just follows the normal boot . but when i just hold the power button to start up like any other phone. its just stuck on black screen, and i have to pull the battery . then when i enter recovery and load it it will load the rom and so on . i want to revert back to be able to have TWRP recovery and boot phone normally . . so i want to isntall the recovery and remove the rom . and so on . ,
Just use fastboot flash recovery recovery.img where recovery.img is an ICS TWRP image.

See Note no.3.
Basically you need to reinstall the TWRP recovery because you don't have the recovery anymore. So in the link that I provided above, there is a TWRP recovery attached on OP. Use that (it is the same as in the ICShboot_Toolkit folder) then restore your ICS backup.
Notes[/B]
1. Workaround to mount sdcard as there is no PCSC on JB ROM, see : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40241468&postcount=214
2. You can use the APM whenever you need to reboot your DX, select reboot to recovery.
3. If you need to go to recovery to do your usual stuff, select reboot to bootloader, connect to PC and open the ICShboot_Toolkit folder and run the Install Recovery.img.bat again. Once completed, you need to reboot to bootloader and install boot.img again with the Install Boot.img.bat

Thanks worked like a charm also installed the your latest rom mysensedx5. running smooth so far . occasionaly have this weird think happening when the phone starts to open diferent apps and such and auto answering the calls . or even when turning on mobile internet /// its just turns on flash light or dialing someone /// weird / is this rom related ??( screen clean and no scratch and not raplaced .)
Can be hardware related... I experienced this as well some time ago (But note that I replaced my screen).
EDIT: I think you are right @ckpv5...

It's the kernel bug I think (if it's not hardware problem) ... which kernel that you use ? I recommend the kernel attached in my mySENSEdx5 thread.

Never have this problem with this kernel on any of my ROM.
Try the stock one - Boot.img_Installer_RC2.0
If still problem, try other ROM. If all is ok, then make a full wipe and reinstall ROM.
If this still not solve your problem, I'm scare it is hardware related as mentioned by dansou901

see the thing is that a long time ago ive used cynamoge 10 i think ( thats what it was called ) then i tried xpirt rom those two roms worked fine . but when i tried the veryfirst one for desire x made by you it was mysense ( posted )( 28/03/2013 ) i think after that it just occasionally started to act like that . and only recently in october this 2013 its started to occur more frequently . and also i have some sort of dead pixels i think they shine bright blue or yellow on black background ( all around left top corner and right hand side from bottom to top ) and i i dont know how it appeared . never droped it and not even sat on it / maybe its the screen & need replacement? . but anyway im happy with the rom from latest . very nice ) im going to aply the lastcall* fix // (recent calls bug) and that should do for now
Simply, I propably installed a wrong version of gapp and when I first time booted up my CM11 every installed app seemed to crash. I know that I just need to flash a correct gapp and thats it. Unfortunately I cannot do that because after that issue occurred my recovery haven't started with a button combination vol. down + power btn. I already had a CWM rom manager and decided to start the recovery through it but it also crashes.. :victory:
im using the latest CWM, CM11 rom and a cm gapp
I appreciate if you guys can figure this out!
English isnt my primary language so try to get even a little sense
