My phone was a c6833 but I've noticed that since installing radioactive rom my phone shows up as being a c6802 in the phone identity in the settings? Is this common?
This is normal. Don't worry

Hi!
I've got this problem long time ago, but have just ignored it. Currently I'm using Cyanogenmod 9 on my I9100 (newest nightly versions, Modem: XXLPR). The problem is when I'm starting the device with charger connected, my SIM-card not always get recognized (no PIN code notification) resulting in network problem. Sometimes it just helps to re-lock the screen and the PIN notification pops up, sometimes it's not. This issue only exist when I try to start my phone with charger connected. Without the charger, it starts without any issues.
So, I don't think that it's related to Cyanogen's nighty. I had it on MIUI GB based ROM's (2.3.7) too. I don't remember if it works on stock though, haven't been on stock ROM for a while now. Anyone having the same issue? Is my device faulty?
My IMEI number is correct so I suppose that efs folder is not corrupted (have a backup in case of failure). Thanks for you help!
Can you disable sim card pin?

It works to turn off the PIN protection, but I really want to have it on. It suppose to be working without issues?
Sorry for bumping this, but I really want to know if there is someone with the same issue or if there is a fix for this, thanks!

I'm not completely sure but it could be the radio. Try to reflash your radio or a different radio to see if the problem repeats.
I tried to search for the same problem through XDA but found nothing.
The phone is GT-I9300, Android 4.0.4, firmware I9300XXLH1. After some time after reboot the phone stops make and receive calls. The signal in statusbar is full and in notification menu I can see the name of my mobile operator. First I thought that something is wrong with my SIM-card. But after every reboot, as I already mentioned, for some time there're no problems.
Besides even after calls become unavailable, 3G and Edge are working fine.
May be someone can suggest any solution?

Weird. Doesn't sound like it's actually losing signal, just loss of functionality heh. As you even noticed you have signal and the radio is still functioning, at least for data, just not for voice.
I know it's a pain but I would start by either factory defaulting the stock ROM and see if it persists or if you want try a custom ROM and make sure to do a full wipe first.
The ****ty part is loss of data. If you have CWM installed then maybe make a nandroid first so you can revert back if it's no different

Flashed the same rom again and made full wipe, nothing changed. Downloading now 4.1.1 rom, may be something will going better
Have you cut your sim card or is it an original micro sim? Of you have cut it that's your culprit.

Hmm, that is messed up.
Maybe try a different modem?
It sounds like a software bug but to carry across a fresh install.... That's not right....
What ROM are you trying? Did it happen on any other one? Or just happens with this new ROM?

So i have 2 sims of one mobile op. The factory one and cut one. I began to think that the problem is with the sim card. So I tried both and nothing changed.
So may be there is any problem with micro-sim slot in the phone? May be the hardware problem. But if there is any hardware problem, why does the phone after airplane mode or reboot register in the network successfuly.
Besides when I call someone (while the network is still available) no matter how long the conversation is - the phone is available all the time.

Hey, just wondering did you manage to fix this problem?
My S3 is doing the same thing, only 2 weeks of having the phone and it started doing it today. I got full signal but it says I can only make emergency phone calls. Done the whole battery in & out, reset factory settings, and still nothing. I thought it may be the software update as I am yet to update but I'm unable to since I can't have data connectivity, I was going to use a friends' Wi-Fi to download the new firmware but it sounds like that doesn't help either?
Hello all, I'm really sorry if this issue mentioned before..
Well I have a Z2 , updated it from KitKat to lollipop to marshmallow, all good and great, never had any issues..
I had to sell the device cause I live in Syria and really short of money, so I did a factory reset, and sold it..
The buyer now telling me that device turns itself off ,while not using it, every 2 hours, he gets it back on without a charger, and find same battery, he's telling me battery life is great and normal no issues..
He did a factory reset, and he said he repaired the software via Sony application on PC. Still same issue..
Only activity he did, was getting his Facebook and some apps from Xperia T2 to the Z2 through Sony Application on PC, but he deleted them later, and still same issue, according to him...
Any ideas or suggestions about this please???
Thanks in advance.

Maybe a due to a faulty motherboard or chipset.

happened to me once the phone automatically shuts down it self at sharp 2 am i flashed a new ftf using flash tool it was all good it happened because of kernal auditor i believe. tell your buyer to run the phone in safe mode and use it and check if it shuts down again. if it shuts down again it might be a motherboard issue.
Hello, guys.. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but soon after I noticed that the battery was inconsistent, not charging beyond 85-86%. Tried a new batteries same as well. So reading a bit online I noticed it may be due to the Lollipop 5.1.1. I also want to downgrade to Kitkat 4.4.4 but to do so I need to know which is really my phone's model number. Going into the phone system settings is telling me I have a SM-N910F, at the back after removing the battery, I can see its written SM-N910T on the stickers with the IMEI and Serial Numbers. So I downloaded 'PHONE INFO' and its stating that I have the SM-N910T. I then tried another app ; Droid Info and this one is showing that I have the SM-N910F. Am going a bit crazy with this.. can anyone help please.
P.S : Using the Phone INFO I checked and my phone is Original and non-refurbished.
any help guys?
