Cannot boot STOCK OTA update - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

I just got the OTA update from T-Mobile on my HTC One M7, and now my phone won't boot past the Quietly Brilliant screen. Is there any hope of retrieving my photos from it? I can get to it through the ADB, but whenever I try to go to the storage, I get Access Denied. I would be willing to root it if I have to to get at the photos. Also, any assistance with getting it unbricked would be brilliant.
Thanks in advance!

I should point out:
- I can reboot by holding the power button for 15 sec
- ADB works in normal boot but not fastboot
- Fastboot works from the Pwr+VolDn menu, but not Recovery (red triangle with ! )
- Looking at ADB LOGCAT output, it keeps trying to load the audio system and failing.

[Q]Auto boot when on ac

I'm still quite new to the prime n learning about it. One thing thats really annoying me is whenever I plug in the prime when its powered down it boots up!
I'm guessing everyone else's does this, is there any way to stop it or to halt the boot procedure and power it off?
Thanks

RMA removed unlocked prime?

Ok I sent my prime to get my battery not working fixed and they fixed it with my prime being unlocked at no cost!
However I got it back today and it's been relocked and completely wiped!
There isn't anything on the internal sd card from me and cwm is gone!
I know its my prime because it has a small piece of the outer screen missing.
Oh well looks like I have to unlock it again!
BTW, it still has .21 installed and doesn't seem like they gave me anything from new update.
Probably normal procedure to do a full factory wipe on it.

Cool from ASUS to repair it for free, since it was unlocked!

just two questions:
1. could you still turn it on or was it dead? im asking because im wondering if they saw "this device is unlocked" when they turned it on.
2. are you in the us?
this is the second time i heard of asus fixing an unlocked transformer for free. im wondering if the unlocker app really does send the sn info back to asus...

I'm sure it does, and I'm also sure that most of the ASUS repair centres do not bother checking whether the device is unlocked
Also, this mysterious "this device is unlocked" message only pops up when using a totally stock rom afaik.
Yeah if they did turn it on they would have saw a big V for the virtious rom i had installed.
I dont know if its still unlocked or not, I dont have cwm anymore and to be honest, I am not sure I want it unlocked again. I love this tablet and dont want to risk doing anything else.
Maybe when CM9 gets it right but then maybe the next Android Rom jelly bean will be out. What do you all think?

Also I am stationed in Germany and they sent it to my APO Box

Well I tried and checked and of course they re locked it! I really think they changed more than the battery!
I wish I kept some screen shots of my device before I sent it in!

Same happened to me also.
Rma unlocked and came back locked and motherboard changed.
Excellent service from Asus.
Well this is awesome news! I'm glad to hear that they aren't screwing people who unlock and have hardware issues that aren't related.

Don't bother, just bring it in and show or explain them the defect.
Maybe you want to get rid of the root-app shortcuts on the defaultscreen. You could also drain it first Returning will be no problem, trust a habitual returner, (see my sig).
O ok cool thanks. Still would like to know tho.

Factory reset
Download the .28 firmware from ASUS website --> Put it in /sdcard
--> Prime will ask for update --> Continue with update
Delete the .28 firmware zip file from the /sdcard
*make sure you download the right firmware (ww, de, us, etc)

Keyboard Dock acting funny

Strange, have you tried rebooting to see if maybe it's just something caught up in the OS?
Indeed, Stange, does the dock still supply power ?

Had something similar recently but as fast as it appeared it was gone again
Same happened to me, I sent it in for RMA to asus a week or two ago, and still havent got it back :l
happened to me today reboot sorted it
new fterlau
Had same issue, need to reboot a few times, sorted itself out, why? I have no idea
You would be surprised what a cold boot will fix. That and wiping the cache and dalvik. If my tablet starts acting quirky, those are the first steps I'll take to solve the issues.

That's what happened with me, thankfully the people down at ASUS love us.
I have the same issue once in a while, its rare but it happens. Cold boot usually does the trick. Good luck!

My dock freezes my pad occasionally I'm on stock 4.2 not rooted. The problem afaik is either when i close the lid or when both batteries are at about 50% the pad works fine w/o dock but whenever i have the dock attached its either slow as syrup or frozen so I'll have to do a cold boot.
There is no problem when both pad and dock is fully charged but when they start getting depleted the problems as described starts occuring.
any ideas?

Asus TF101 HELP!

My TF101 have been rooted and have been testing all kinds of ROM from almost any rom I can think of. I was using Liquid Smooth before that happened , I came to a problem when I tried to downgrade back to stock, I was trying to flash US_epad-user-9.2.1.27.zip and now my machine can no longer boot up all it can go to is the Asus logo icon, lost root, lost kernel, lost recovery TWRP and can't recover at all. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!!!
The same thing happened to my galaxy mini. I had to send it into Samsung. Try sending it in if you still have a warranty.

I actually didn't buy this Asus pad, just traded the ps3 for it.. It was working pretty well and very stable. But because of my stupid itching hands who wanted to test everything now I screw it up. It would be great if someone can help me out on here so I don't have to send it in to repair and pay the high price.
Have you tried adb with usb?
