Means you are probably missing your keystr file. The fix has been discussed dozens of times already. Please search for this. FYI, you will need root to implement the fix.

You didn't search the right thing. I said your keystr file is missing. You didn't mention a keystr file anywhere there.

[Q] Galaxy S2 screen starts to look like photo negative

My Galaxy S2 screen starts to look like photo negative occasionally. It would be mostly black. This gets resolved after a reboot. Has anyone faced this issue before?
I am on VK ROM 5.1.2 with siyah 3.3.2.
With the Siyah kernel pressing the home button 4 times inverts the screen colours.

Thank you.
Initially, I thought there was some hardware issue with my screen and thought of taking it the service center after reverting back to stock ICS ROM.
If you use recent builds of Siyah, you can turn this feature off in ExTweaks.
I love you all. I fell like a f***n' noob.
Thanks
Thank you. Felt the same! (like a n**b)! Saved me a reboot the second time!
As far as I remember this is for night reading.

Post in the correct forum for your device I.E N8000 Q&A :-/
even i am facing the same problem...the screen looks so dull when compared to earlier stages...is it with the LED display ??

I mean, that if I want my phone to go to sleep it takes a second (screen stays on for a second) and then he sleeps. No matter if I press the power button or double tap the status bar.

Please check the Settings.
Example: If S-Voice by Double HOme Button is activated, going to the Home Screen has also a short delay.

It is a small issue caused by the HWComposer and is fixed in PAC rom. The issue is based on a commit that the Cyanogen guys maybe forgot to include in the buildbot's config. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/development/rom-pac-nightlies-t2668572 .

Touch home button

I have found ans used easyhome for samsung app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/...ung&pcampaignid=APPU_1_o9ovVsWCIoXK0AS_5pS4Bw)
Turns your home button to touch and doesnt need to be pressed.:good:
I get device not supported is it because I'm on PAC ROM?

It works on latest ironrom
Probably only works on ROMs that support the fingerprint reader.
I think that app only works on Touchwiz roms. I use it on my Tab S and S6, both on Touchwiz.
2 features of this app (may require pro version?):
Long touch can do one of the following: camera, screen-off, Google Now, or home screen
When lock screen shown (before you input password/pattern/swipe to unlock), touch home button to turn off screen. Useful when you turn on screen to look at time only and want to turn off screen without pressing power button (reduce button use?) or letting screen timeout (save battery?)
The developer also has an app to double-knock/tap to turn screen on-or-off. I use it to turn-off the screen with a double-tap. Using it to turn-on screen consumes battery.

Samsung phones have physical home button, unlike those phones with no button. Haven't see such mod.

Yes that's what i mean. Purposely because samsung phones have physical button, hence it has to be pressed to use finger unlock.
