lol another one who dont read or execute steps E-X-A-C-T-L-Y.
probably u forget to wipe /system /data /cache BEFORE installing rom???
if not check the if the rom zip is not urrupted on sd. / in rare cases u need a kernel reflash / 10 mins are enough to say if it boots or not. but it works 100%
good luck
as u said i also format system, data then cache before install this rom.
but surprised it cannot start up.

First of all hello to everyone and sorry for my bad english.
I have been in the forums for a few weeks now and I must tell I love it.
Okay now on to the topic.
I have seen manny people with issue's like rebooting for the Cyanogenmod.
Now here's what I did to let it work for me after I fu**ed-up the first time.
1: Using Pc Companion I restored my S.E. firmware version.
2: I did a factory reset ( options, privacy, factory reset.)
3: I formatted my SD card
4: I downloaded the Cyanogenmod from Wolfbreak and installed it to my phone and guess no more Reboots.
I hope that this solves the problem of manny people with reboot errors.
And again sorry for my bad english.
You dont need to restore anything with pc companion, just wipe entire phone whit xRecovery before flash CM 6.1.3 v4 just as Wolfbreak says in CM ROM thread
1. Go to Xrecovery and make a Backup of your current ROM (optional but i suggest it)
2. make following in Xrecovery
- do a Factory Reset
- Wipe Cache Partition,
- Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Wipe Battery Stats
3. Install Custom Zip and choose CM6.1.3-V4.zip

This is for people who fu****-up like me the first time (like installing from the wrong kernel version) they tryed to install Cyanogenmod. Because I tryed everything but nothing seemed to work for me except this method.

Unfortunately, about 99% of the times when things go wrong, come not by reading the information, either by too much work, thrilling moment, etc..
1. Hardly something gone wrong if you follow the instructions;
2. Hardly we nned to make an installation from the PCC or SEUS.
With Rom`s currently available, the entire installation is done through the xRecovery. 99% of the times that you end up having multiple loops had to do with bad version of the baseband.

this is what i have been doing all along, still i get reboots.
ALSO try running fix permissions in either ROM manager or in xrecovery under advanced options, that is why this feature is in both apps....To help fix fc and reboot problems when switching ROMS!!! ( Not just CM rom's any rom!!! )
Will help, but won't fix all problems!!
Best regards,
Chris

flash this
2.1.A.435_GLOBAL-GGL_GENERIC_1232-9897.ftf
and this
X10i_58_baseband.ftf
with Flash tool, then get root and install xrecovery
now, in xrecovery, full wipe (chache, battery, etc), install cyanogen rom from wolfbreak and vuala!!! all you need is that
Can you guys do a simple test with a custom 2.2 / 2.3 ROM? Start root explorer, and kill it via a task manager.
Does your device reboot after a while?
hi all , sometimes (and i know u know about this) when i reboot my fone running cm9 lates fxp , the sim doesnt get detected , so is there something specific i should do , or do i just reboot and wipe stuff ?

No it won't affect your SD card data...
but all your apps and contacts will be deleted... so backup them via Titanium backup or any other apps...
Edit: you will loose system file necessary for installation of the ROMs... so don't wipe system
Thank you PREDATOR..

I am using it in my wt19i as many others. you must have done something wrong. U said cleared all cache but did u clear data/factory reset? Before selecting device it asks about your bootloader. What did u chose on that? Do u have locked or unlocked bootloader?

Sorry dude...
My bad...
Flash the stock ftf file again
Wiping system removes system files necessary for installation of some ROMs...
But some ROMs ask for format system... so try reflashing the ROM

In some recoveries... factory reset is wipe system but in some like fxp recovery 6.x
The is wipe system in "mounts and storage "
It formats whole /system folder. Ur rom is wiped off. There s no system to boot. Recovery will only work till reboot. Once u reboot, without flashing another rom... Ur phone is bricked... No boot image to boot

SOME ROMs require system files....
OP which ROM did you flash?
Try flashing the ROM again... if the ROM asked for format system... then you must have messed up something in aroma installer...

That is I know too man. But If it is written in the rom thread to format system means its needed. Otherwise it causes boot loop.Someguyfromhell means those roms in which its not instructed to do system format.

Just before u chose ur device as wt19i theres a option comes about boot loader. you have to choose locked if u have a locked bootloader & choose unlock if u unlocked ur boot loader. I think u have choosen unlocked but your boot loader is locked

Installed the stock firmware just now.. checked again.. see screenshot attached..
ooook....
It is possible for AROMA installer to freeze and become unresponsive. It's a known issue/bug.
Now that you flashed firmware, you can try flashing Blue Ice again. The ROM is pre-rooted and working 100%!
The ROM doesn't wipe /system automatically because that would mess up the partition somehow for locked bootloader, and one would get bootloop. So it's recommended to manually wipe /system partition in ROMs which have locked/unlocked bl option.

have you considered doing a full wipe and flashing the rom again, and fixing permissions or flashing a different rom to see if the audio works?

if the audio worked on one rom and not another, then the system files arent flashing properly.. what recovery are you using.. and like i said have you tried flashing the rom over.. and if so what steps do you take when doing a "full wipe" to flash the rom?

okay, ill say this once again.. *then i think ill add it to my signature*... if you take the proper steps to flash a rom.. make sure that rom is working properly before you do any additional mods to the rom and then say something like the rom is broken or something isn't working../ and also what recovery are you using.. because if your s-on and using any other recovery other than 4EXT your kernel might not flash properly...

wipe data/factory
format system
wipe cache partition
wipe delvik cache partition
flash rom
wipe delvik cache
boot rom
sit and wait till screen off and boot back into recovery
fix permissions and wipe delvik cache one more time
enjoy rom... do nandroid backup before applying all tweaks
make sure smart flash in 4ext is enabled-ed

Hey everybody, I have a annoying issue that I want to solve. I have a Xperia U with unlocked bootloader and im trying to flash FXP203.
I did first flash the boot.img in fastboot, then I did flash the update file and gapps, then I did wipe data/ factory reset and dalvik cache but it still doesnt work and its getting stuck in a unlimited bootloop. I have the same issue with other FXP versions like FXP 202, but FXP 201 and lower works.
I really want to have this issue solved so I can run a good custom rom again, thanks.
