[Q] HELP - XT910 Brick after deleting Stock Slot using BMM - Motorola Droid RAZR

hi all,
I'm having Motorola XT910 with BMM installed & slot-1 was 'ICS' & slot-2 is Jelly Bean 982.124.14.XT910.Retail.en.AU IMPROVED also CID backuped & deleted to install JB.
I was happy with working on JB on slot-2 with erased CID & updated EU JB Kernel because It was on stock ISC.
Now problem starts accidently someone has deleted my slot-1 ( format/unmount /data, /system etc.) hence after that I got only boot screen not BMM boot menu. as a matter of fact same was installed on slot-1.
How to restore my phone on Jelly Bean 982.124.14.XT910.Retail.en.AU IMPROVED without BMM or using stock slot-1 ??
Does it require to restore the original CID which i had backuped ?
Also I think battery is exhausted in my phone so when I connect charger the only 'white' LED indication is showing in front ....Does it charging the battery?
Pl. do the needful as I have only this phone ...& i really loved it !!!!:fingers-crossed:

You didn´t have to erase CID,EU roms work with CID on EU devices.I know because I have XT910 also.
I think the best solution for you is to start over.
Here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42057363/RSDLite_v6.1.x.zip is RSD Lite 6.1.5
Here https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/88481/action/auth are Motorola drivers
Here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=10 are ICS Fastboot files
Here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2231289 are JB Fastboot files,so you can upgrade your phone,if you want.
Then root the phone, install BMM and

Hi Brother...
Thanks for the prompt response .....
I just want to respecify that I'm having Motorola Razr maxx (Indian market) hence earlier it was on ICS with ICS kernel...... Same was unable to accept "Jelly Bean 982.124.14.XT910.Retail.en.AU IMPROVED LIGHT " ROM since its on JB kernel .......
That time I had deleted CID & then flashed JB kernel to facilitate above mentioned JB version on my phone....
Should I have to perform the operation to opt the same ROM ?
Can I have clean install the desired stock ROM ?
Any other updated stock ROM version is available as on date? I appreciate your edited modified version of JB ROM .. its smooth, stable & light too...

That rom works with JB Kernel,I know, but it´s enough to flash JB Kernel and then rom, there is no need to erase CID.
"Can I have clean install the desired stock ROM ?"
"Any other updated stock ROM version is available as on date?"
I don´t follow you...
I told you,the best option is going back to stock with RSD Lite, root the phone, install BMM and then you can flash whatever you want.

Thanks .....
I have installed RSD lite 6.1.5 & Motorola drivers software on my laptop....then connect the USB cable to phone & laptop. the only indication is showing on phone is 'white' light constant on.
Opened the RDS lite & click on 'show device' but no information showing for connected device then I rebooted laptop but same issue.
Just to inform you that : When I plugged in charger its showing first screen with customer id error ...Contact dealer....Boot to suspend xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I think it means my CID is already erased earlier ....Pl. guide me to resolve the issue as i dont want to loose any happy moments with my XT910..... Pls.....

White light? Hmmm...Besides customer id error etc, what´s written about the battery,Battery OK or something else?
Can you charge your phone normally?
When you click on "show device",it doesn´t matter if there is no information, just be sure that RSD recognize your phone, like this

Do you have copy of your CID in your laptop?
I´m not sure, but I think that you don´t need your CID for flashing with RSD Lite.
Maybe you can try this:
How to restore CID partition
fastboot flash mbm allow-mbmloader-flashing-mbm.bin
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot flash cid yourcid.img
fastboot reboot

Hi Welder,
Thanks for nice informatory response....

It looks to me that your battery is empty...
First,try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1549625
If that doesn´t work, you have to make a factory cable,it´s easy, here is the picture.
It´s only for flashing, not for charging.

HI Welder...
Sorry for the late reply...actually I was searching right cable to make fast boot cable as per your instructions.......
Finally I have made it.......now I'm trying to charge my XT910 with that homemade cable but same is not showing any activity on my phone ....like first boot logo is not coming which I'm getting with normal charging cable .... Is it okey ?
I had tried this homemade cable on other working phone & its showing proper charging on that phone ..??
Pl. guide .. If its normal behavior of fast boot cable that screen is not showing anything or not ?
Prompt reply will be highly appreciated...thanks ...

Yes,uninstall everything related to Motorola.
Try first to connect your phone normally, not in Ap fastboot mode, then shut it off and turn it on with 3 buttons.
I assume that you have internet connection on your laptop...when you connect the phone,it should find and install missing drivers by itself.

Actually I had done all steps that you have mentioned but same issue.....
Also checked drivers on internet but no luck....
Error is showing ' Device is not recognized' & device manager showing 'the device is stopped as there is some malfuntion detected" which i think means is my phone is not readable or feasible on fast boot cable....... m i right ?
Now any other way or solution brother? I really desperate to see my moto alive ....

Yes I had tried all available USB ports on my laptop .....

While I was looking for answers for your problem,I read that some guy had the same problem as yours and he tried all of that on different computer and it worked!

I had tried a lot with 4 different systems ( WinXp, Win7 64-32 bit on 2 desktop & 2 laptops) but not luck......
Sorry to say that I'm really frustrated & finally end up with opening my lovely Razr maxx.....to charge battery manually as suggested in other thread.
So Right now, I have opened my Xt910 back cover, removed the screws, dismantled the assembly & now only screen with PCB attached & battery also is with me.
I have attached Red(+) wire on connector on phone on left side & Black (-) wire on connector on right side as polarity shown on battery itself.
Connected to my laptop's USB port since 30 mins.....now finders crossed...let see what happens??
Can you pl. confirm how much time to give for complete battery charge on laptop ?
Can I connect wall charger directly to the this USB cable connected directly on battery ? ( I think i won't as positive & negative wires are directly attached on phone's connector panel.... so i may end up with blast or complete failure ?? Is it ?
Pl. suggest the way forward ....thanks ....

[Q] Bricked XT910 (totally)

Hello, I tried to search a lot, but I can't find any solution for this problem.
My friend gave me this phone (XT910 M0C2E) and says, that he somehow deleted system and the phone is now unable to boot. I tried a lot, but can't find anything, that could help me. When I tried to power the device it just show red moto dual core logo and then black screen. He also says me, that previous owner installed MIUI rom.
I charged the phone, using lipol charger direct to the battery, so this is not the problem.
but the main problem is that the phone can't connect in the AP Fastboot method. It says:
Code:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode
0A.74
eMMC Info: Size 16G
bla bla...
Device is LOCKED. Status code:0
Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable
But when I connect the cable nothing happend, computer did not recognize the phone (no sound, no driver installation, nothing i device window). It is deffinitely in the phone, because I tried more computers and USB cables and if I connect the phone in SBF Mode, phone is recognized and shown RSD Lite.
I also tried to flash this rom (i think it is signed and stock)
SPDREM_U_01.6.7.2-180_SPU-19-TA-11.2_SIGNEuropeAustraliaEMEA_USASPDRICSRTGB_HWp2b_Service1FF_fastboot.xml
through recovery mode from external card, but it says E:signature verification failed.
I'm sorry if somewhere here is sollution, but I tried to search and also for my bad English (from Czech Republic).
I solved it. I must remove battery (remove screws and put it out) for about 1 day, then put it back and go to bootloader. Don't try to power up phone because the usb wont be recognized, again.

Did you installed Motorola Device Drivers before connecting it? This device is not plug n play dude. Do that and let me know. Btw you have to flash that rom with rsd lite, not from sdcard
Hope I've helped

[Q] fastboot, adb, rsd doesnt work on xt910

Hi, i bought a phone from a guy that said the battery is dead.
i bought new battery, installed, phone works (i was happy), and started to charge it, as new battery had 20%.
after a while it showed 30%, but then i noticed it went back to 20%, untill it died with "white light of death".
i hotwired the battery, let it charge to 80%
tried to switch back to wall charger, but again, although it says its charging battary drains, same with usb cable to pc.
i also noticed that battery drains very quick without any charge, so i thought maybe its firmware issue.
i installed every possible driver and rsdlite, but it just wont connect in adb or fastboot mod
i thought usb port in the phone is damaged, but it shows charge when connected, and also in some option in the bootloader it does recognize the phone as mz 600 something, but that doesnt help.
the phone currently have what seems to be stock GB + stock recovery
i tried to get Safe Strap recovery, but it didnt work.
from what i read the only firmware updates (not rom) are via fastboot.
i probably can flash custom rom via the stock recovery, but im not sure if it would help.
did anyone experience something similar?
Hi all,
I have Motorola XT621 Primus, after some playings with it and trying to root and add RTL patching i got a brick.
Now the status is that i have fastboot mode working but bootloader is locked, no recovery working and no ADB working, no boot too.
I tryed many ways to flash or unlock bootloader but nothing works. Any commands like fstboot oem got output like (...)
Is there any way to unlock bootloader via fastboot and flash new rom or it completely bricked?
Thanks!
if you have fastboot you can flash recovery
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vaHPVV_-b0
Just make sure you have a good battery or you will have to get a factory cable if the battery say battery low.

Get the gb firm, unzip it, and flash one by one the archives, if you don't know how, open the .xml and there are the commands, you can do it in linux/windows, i had a similar problem, cannot flash anything, my razr only turns into fastboot by using factory cable, and wired the battery, flashing couple of files, then i did flashed one by one and get error in webtop, but it work, the razr turn on (i did this in linux), then i where able to charge the battery and connect to windows, run the rsd, put another jb firm (had to download 5-6 'till i get the right) and works like a charm.
You need the android sdk tools, the latest fastboot, your drivers and some good luck. :good:
(Sorry my bad english)
By the way, if you get the "battery low" line, it doesn't matter, you need to use the factory cable + the battery wire to charger metod, do it and you'll get the O.K.
I have exactly the same problem.. Can we do something vía stock recovery?

Phone dead after installing ROM - Elephone p9000

Hello,
Today I downloaded a few stock roms and I installed them with SP flash tool smoothly without any issue. In the end I installed again the latest stock rom but this time my phone went dead, the screen is black and my pc doesn't recognise the device.
Also, I opened the cover and removed the battery without any luck.
Please help me! :'(
Revert to old one. I saw some reports on elephone p9000 customer forums. always update the official way!
This happened to me once when flashing the ROM on the P9000, luckily though I just held the power button continuously for about 5 mins and it powered up. I guess if it wont power up, its an Elephone warranty issue to get it repaired
I let it overnight with the battery unplugged and somehow SP flash managed to recognise it and installed a new ROM.
Thank you guys for all the replies!
Hi!
I did live the same situation, and this happened to me when I flashed a custom ROM with the preloader that comes with it.
I suggest you to download a complete official Stock Rom and try to flash it with SP Flashtool by forcing the MT65XX Preloader status.
For this you need to be sure that your phone is completely OFF.
Just start SP Flashtool load the scatter file that comes with the Stock ROM archive and let everything ticked as it is by default (preloder file too) and click on the Download button.
Let the downlaod option to be set as "Download Only" and click on the "Download" button with the green arrow.
At this step, SP Flashtool should be waiting for your phone to be connected.
With your phone completely OFF, connect the USB cable on the phone keep the Vol - button pressed and connect the other side of the cable to the computer.
If everything's OK, the computer should recognize the phone as an MT65XX Preloder device and SP Flashtool will launch the flashing process.
Wait till the end when the OK checkbox pop-up appear and your phone should rework as usual.
Tell us if this method helped you and give us some feedback if you need more support.
Good luck.
hi, may i know how can i force mt65xx preloader status

Install from ota. It is available there now
Hi Zamarano.
I've explained how to force the pre loader status in my preceding message....
But maybe you did not understand how it is written...
To go in this mode, you have to follow carefully all the step above until you press the download button in SP flashtool.
At this stage, the computer is waiting for you to plug your phone.
You need to be sure your phone is completely OFF.
After this keep the Vol- (Volume Down) button pressed but do not switch ON your phone, and connect your USB cable to your phone first and in the USB port of your computer in second time.
If you follow these step, the download process must begin automatically.
You can remove your finger from the Vol- (Volume Down) button when the download process has begun.
I hope these advices will help you.
The following fix worked on my dead Elephone P9000 (thanks to djelloul) ; and good luck.:
Download the Stock Rom (or the Aerom v5 Rom which I used) and extract it afterwards...
(MTK drivers should be working ok on you pc (google it if needed)).
Phone must be completely OFF en unplugged to pc.
Start SP Flashtool load the correct scatter file that comes with the ROM and let everything ticked as it is by default (preloder file too! forcing the MT65XX Preloader status).
Let the download option to be set as "Download Only" (Note that the "Download only" did not work for me. So I used "Format All + Download" option. Be careful here because everything will be deleted!)
Now click on the "Download" button with the green arrow.
At this step: SP Flashtool should be waiting for your phone to be connected.
With your phone completely OFF, attach the USB cable to the phone, then push the VOL+ button and hold it down, then connect the USB cable to the computer.
If everything's OK, the computer should recognize the phone as an MT65XX Preloder device and SP Flashtool will launch the flashing process. Wait till the end when the OK checkbox pop-up appear and your phone should rework as usual.
Unplug the phone and close the SP Flashtool.
Plug the phone again to the pc and wait...
Now the phone seems alive again, and the led lamp will light up. The phone will show for a second a strange battery icon, and then goes off again.
The battery is probably dead by now. Wait to charge the battery and be patient.
After +/- 20 minutes the battery is strong enough to turn the phone on.
Hope this will work for you. Tell us if this method helped you and so we can help othes who have this same problem.
Good luck.
...
Good night, after a week of phone dead to, and several attempts to revive, I hereby thank all the participants in my odyssey, and I come to say that I could install the V5 rom and that the phone is fully functional for now everything works fine .... but only with some use I can say fully ..... Thank you all .....

Good luck.

Hey mate, I need help. I believe my P9000 Lite is hard bricked because the LCD does not light up at all. The battery was fully charged so I don't know why the screen isnt lit up. I flashed 20160315 Rom and this was the result. No longer got a responsive screen. I took out the battery and put it back in and still no luck. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
Same problem here and have tried every solution previously mentioned
I have a hard bricked Elephone p9000 does not turn on and has no working buttons. Have fallowed many tutorials on how to fix but all keep ending in the same result*BROM ERROR : STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION (0xC0050005) I have fallowed instructions and have tried to flash just the preloader, I have tried to format, I have tried to firmware upgrade I have tried every option the sp flash tool offers all met with the same result**BROM ERROR : STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION (0xC0050005) when i look online it tells me to try a different port but i have been trying to fix this at least*a little*BROM ERROR : STATUS_EXT_RAM_EXCEPTION (0xC0050005). I am using the test point on the circuit board to get the PC to recognize the phone and it attaches and detaches over and over but if i hit download on the flash tool it starts and goes to 100% on the first red bar but can not get it to go past that no matter what i try holding vol up or down when plugging in makes no difference**??? Moto E stuck on bootloop, bootloader and fastboot

I have been having the same problem recently
My Moto e2 is unlocked and doesn't work when it isn't connected to the charger
As soon as I remove the charging pin it gets switched off and I'm unable to power it up.
But when I plug in the charging cable it immediately lights up and is stuck in bootloop
It shows the bootloader screen and restarts again everytime
I'm able to go into the fastboot menu, but whenever I select any option other than barcodes it goes into the same bootloop.
In the fastboot menu it doesn't even show the device as connected when I use a data cable.
I tried charging it overnight. No use. It was stuck in the same bootloop till the next day
Please help
