Impossible to change smileys - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey.
http://www.ladda-upp.se/image.php?id=119180&size=full
It's just not possible to change them. I've frozed Sony keyboard in titanium backup, restored everything to stock, tried both swiftkey and go keyboard.
Problem is when I installed another application with other smileys, there is correct icons, but when I press them it's the same as default again.
Thanks alot for answer!

Now I also tried to reflash via flashtool. Still same smileys. :I
Its the Android stock smileys, right?

[Q] Calkulin's G-Tab Keyboard Issue

I've been having an issue getting Thumb Keyboard working with Calkulin's G-Tab ROM. I've tried moving the .apk to system/app with rootexplorer and changing the permissions of it to rw-r-r, but I'm not sure if there's an order I should be following in order to get it installed correctly.
Does anyone have any insight into how to get a keyboard set up with Calkulin's G-Tab ROM? They show up in the settings, but clicking the checkbox and agreeing to the popup doesn't check the box, it remains unchecked and the keyboard cannot be selected as an input method.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have done the same thing, trying to get Swype to work after installing the beta from the swype website. It actually worked swyping 2 words, and then stopped. I am still able to type like a normal keyboard. Moved from data/apps to system/apps - permissions were already changed. Enabled in settings, and then rest the tab. Thoughts?
Simplest way to get a keyboard working in any version of TnT is to go ahead and install the keyboard and then run the the settings replace, and rollback files located here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=9532446&postcount=1
You can install the keyboard from the Market, an apk, whatever. To select it you install the settings replace file from clockwork, then boot your tablet and go to settings, language and keyboard, and select the keyboard. After that go back and run the rollback file in clockwork and your TnT settings menu will be back. You need to put the TnT settings menu back or some widgets and other stuff won't work.
It only takes about 1 minute to do this and it works great.. And whenever I say best way... It means best way for me... I'm pretty sure someone will be by to tell me there way is better.. Happens every time

Is there really no answer for this? I have same problem. I want dilear ex not stock one and cannot change it
You have to install GO Contacts.
It's free from Google Play Store.
Go Dialer comes with it.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Try this method-
1.Backup old dialer
2.Give the new dialer the name of the old one.
3.Put the renamed new dialer in systems/apps.
4.Reboot
5.If it doesnt work replace old dialer.
Remember to restore old dialer if method does not work!
Try to push the Go Dialer apk from /data/app to system/app and reboot.
Press thanks if it worked ;-)
Hello and thanks for all yous answers, i have solved my problem long ago by changing the rom.

[Q] Original Font

Hello everyone my first post!
ok i just installed "font installer" from the market
i did a back up of my original font and start to change fonts. anyway some of them made Timescape force close so i decided to go back to the original one but now it doesnt look like the original one
i tried to restore back up (from the app) and even tried the stock font included but nothing

If you're on custom ROM,try Fix Permission in xRecovery.

[Q] Problem Editing XML's In Layout Folder

I've got a Mini Pro with the latest stock firmware, 2.1.1.A.0.6, and I'm having a bit of problem changing the framework-res.apk.
I'm using this method here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=849223 and it works just fine..until I try to change any XML files in the Layout folder. It doesn't matter what changes I make, even if I'm just changing the size of an image, the resulting app gives me all kinds of problems.
Once pushed, the Market force closes and I can't access any settings of any app's because that makes them fc as well. Using a working framework doesn't fix it, the only way to make my phone usable again is restore a nandroid backup..or reflash it via SEUS.
Anybody got any ideas what's going on?

[Q] Android default keyboard changes automatically

I'm using Kii keyboard on my kindle fire with JB 4.2, but my keyboard settings changes every now & then automatically. I set the default keyboard to Kii keyboard, ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zl.inputmethod.latin ) but after a while (or boot) the default keyboard is back to stock.
Any reason for that? Please help.
Thanx.

This is not a problem...
after reboot you need to apply your new keyboard again ... this step is needed for all stock roms ...
hit thanks... if I helped you ...

First, I don't use a stock ROM.
Second, it doesn't happen when I use for example go keyboard
So anyone know why this keeps on happening?
I'm using this http://goo.im/devs/loosethisskin/otter-cm10.1/ cm-10.1-20130103-2316-otter-sgt7-gcc47.zip ROM.
I had the very same problem and the reason was that Kii keyboard was on my Greenify list.
After I removed Kii from Greenify it has stuck as default like glue.
Aint happenin anymore.
I have the same issue: the (default) stock ROM keyboard changes at every reboot and login! Strangely even when I uninstall the stock keyboard ( I have root) my new default keyboard is also changed by another keyboard that I have installed, but is not the default !?? It looks like that other keyboard (Swype) and the stock ROM keyboard (samsung keyboard) as well as the gboard (as mentioned in the post above) have some special permissions to put them on top... I withdrawed the permissions to change system settings for that keyboard, but still the same strange behavior. Is there a way to change this setting somewhere in the root file system? Thanks!
