[Q] What's the location of adhesive tape?

I've replaced the digitizer and I'm not sure that I've placed adhesive tape on all the right places. it's been a long time since disassembling the phone and installing the new digitizer.
I remember that there is tape under the LCD screen on the metal plate.
I remember also that there is in the bottom area of the phone near the trackball, and I don't remember if there is any tape on the top area of the frame, on the right and left side.
all the movies about disassembling don't show tape at all. it seems to have been removed before the recording.
any advice?

[Q] Galaxy S3 Glass Replaced - Loss of Sensitivity

Hi Guys,
As the title suggests I have replaced my glass on my Galaxy S3 and I am now experiencing a really annoying issue, some of the time I notice (mainly when typing) some of the keys don't react to my touch. It seems mainly the outer edges of the phone which are experiencing the problem, when typing the can usually be 'o,i,l,p' keys.
When I did the job I heated the glass and removed the glue I had a load of residue left on the screen itself, I then used a combination of nail varnish remover and electrical contact spray with cotton buds to get this crap off. Once I was happy it was all gone I laid the new adhesive on the back of the new glass and pressed it down on to the phone, heated gently and tried to make sure the whole thing was stuck down.
Now since this problem is intermittent it makes me think the digitizer may not be damaged (not sure how it would have got damaged, I used a hair dryer) but maybe the fact the glass isn't stuck down enough, especially if the outer keys are lacking sensitivity, maybe the adhesive is raising the glass to high away from the digitizer??
Has anyone else had this problem and if so have you resolved it? If not any suggestions appreciated, I'm tempted to lift the glass again and take the new adhesive sticky back off and try and reuse the original glue to see if this improves responsiveness to touch.
Any help appreciated
Joe

Use the report button

NOT bend after 2 days

Post here if your phone is NOT bend
Not bent after 3 months.
Not bend after 3 hours
A thread for everything the phone is NOT doing would just clutter the forums.

What are the two slits?

There are what appears to be two slits on my S9+. Both are on the front of the phone. One is above the earpiece and the other is below the home button. Are those part of the speakers? I looked online but didn't find any information on them.

Sorry can't take a pic. I think I answered my question. I was referring to the space at the top and bottom of the glass. If you run your finger nail along the edge of it, you feel some ridges. It almost looks like a speaker mesh. I was wondering if it was part of the speakers. After looking under a microscope, it looks like it's just a design thing.
