if I'll back to Stock - my language will stays? - Sprint LG G3

Hi,
This post combined a Q&A and Dev question:
1) I using the LS990 in a country OUT OF the u.s , on a GSM network.
The phone was unlcocked by Sprint and R00ted
I using CloudyG3 rom and wana to return to Stock.
Is anyone know if Hebrew *right2left* would be there? (when I got the phone on Stock, Hebrew was there)
2) To return 2 Stock I just need to flash the zip(called also TOT...dono what is TOT) -> in LG Flash select "Board DL" -> reboot -> into "MiniOS" ->unplug the USB cable and press and hold the power button-> then press on the "Normal Boot"
I must know that I understood that correctly...I confused with too much info'.
Which ZIP should I dounload and use from the following list? (It is just a webpage...by pressing on it nothing will started)
http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G3/LS990
Thank you very much!

Firmware upload crash

Hi all,
I hope anyone can help me on this. I downloaded the
new firmware from the UK T-Mobile site for a SDA-II phone and
installed it. During the install my wonderful XP system stopped
showing off a BSOD... (blue screen of death)
So the upload to the phone was interrupted. If I try now to switch on the phone nothing happens.
Problem is I also used the sw to remove the simlock already, so I suppose I cannot go back to t-mobile for a repair.
Is there any way to get the firmware back into the phone correctly ?
I know there should be a way using an In System Programmer, ISP
Has anyone experience with this problem ?
this has been experienced many times, with many posts on it.
Try getting the device into bootloader mode (not sure of the key combination for the hurricane) and you should be able to reflash it through windows.
I have the same problem and don't know how to backup my previous ROM, did any one experience about that, please tell us.
Th eeasiest method is:
- Disable the USB-Connection in the settings of desktop AS
- press and hold the camera-button
- connect the SDA II with the USB-cable
- after a view seconds appears a three-coloured display, you're now in the bootloader
- you can now stopp pressing the camera-button 8)
If you cann access the bootloader, your phone isn't allready death! You can flash an image from the MiniSD!
Hi All,
I have an SDA II which suffered a failed ROM update as described above. Unfortunately I am unable to get the bootloader screen to display using the technique described above.
Has anybody got advice as to where I can get the phones software reloaded and everything back up and running again.
PS I have made extensive unsuccessful use of the search feature before posting.
Any help very much appreciated.

Rooting

Hi all
First i know there is loads of threads about rooting the galaxy ace on these forums but i am new to the rooting scene, so i would like somebody to point me to an easy guide that will do it. I also need to be able to unroot as well for warranty purposes.
My build number is XWKPY and gingerbread 2.3.3
Hope somebody can help as i need to remove the stock samsung bloat and possibly flash a new rom, which one would be the best as i need everything to work and must be the original google gingerbread experience.
Thanks Guys, hope to hear about this soon.

check out Android Development section man !
I read that but my firmware is not listed, thats why i am asking for help about this.
The Kiess software i have says i have the latest firmware.
Would that method still work with the firmware i have???.
This method works for 2.3.3 / 2.3.4 / 2.3.5. Here you go:
1. Download "upd_1.zip" (Attached).
2. Put it in your SDcard.
3. Switch off your phone
4. Reboot into Recovery mode by pressing HOME + POWER buttons at the same time (release power button while still holding home button till the white colored Samsung logo shows up).
5. Using volume buttons navigate to "install update from sdcard" or "apply update from sdcard" (I can't really remember what it is called).
6. Press Home button when you navigate over it to select it.
7. Select the file "upd_1.zip" by pressing Home button over it.
8. Reboot your phone in normal mode.
To check that you sucessfully installed, just goto your AppDrawer and look for an app called "Superuser". If it is there, you have sucessfully flashed, if not try repeating above steps.
To unroot; just download "unroot.zip" (Attached) and follow the above steps, instead selecting "upd_1.zip" select "unroot.zip" to unroot your phone!
Thanks, I have rooted and got rid of some of the samsung bloat and then un rooted.
It worked fine, thank you

Flash official ROM

Hi!
A friend of mine has a Samsung Galaxy SII with a CM nightly installed. He upgrades the ROM a few days ago and he lost the SIM unlock that I previously made to the phone.
We tried to re-unlock the device, but we can not.
I think that a possible good way to solve the problem is to flash an official ROM from Samsung and then, root it again, unlock again and, if all the previous steps are OK, flash (or not) a new custom ROM (CM or maybe Paranoid).
I'm downloading the latest ROM for SGS2 for our country (Spain), and we have Odin ready to be used, but I cannot find any thread on this forum that explains, step by step, how to flash an official ROM.
In addition, do you have any other idea to fix my friend's mobile instead flashing an official ROM?
Best regards
P.S. I already found a post for flashing the latest stock ROMs. Sorry!
I find it really hard to believe that you've searched and found nothing when it comes to a Odin guide.
Odin is a popular software and it's problems have been covered several times..
Do you know what download mode is?

Hi!First of all, download this firmware. It's Android 4.0.3 XWLP7.After it finished downloading, extract it,so you will have a .tar.md5 file, and then open Odin.Make sure Kies is stopped. Then,on your mobile:make sure it's charged, and in Settings enable USB debugging. Then enter Download Mode(Hold POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN buttons together until it enters download mode). Now connect it to your PC.In Odin,Click PDA,and select the extracted firmware file.Make sure "Re-Partiton" and "Flash Lock" are unticked. Then Click start. It will take ~ 5 min. to flash the new ROM.After completed, disconnect it from PC.It maybe won't boot/it will be stuck in bootloop. Now enter Recovery(hold POWER + HOME + VOL UP buttons, until it restarts and shows up the "Galaxy S2 GT-I9100" screen. Now let the buttons go.In recovery(you can navigate with VOL UP/VOL DOWN buttons , and select with POWER button) select "Wipe Data/Factory Reset",or something similar.Select yes.It will take ~ 3-8 min. to wipe. That's it,you have restored your Galaxy S2! At the boot,it may ask for ask for an unlock code.Click cancel. If you want to unlock it,then download this app([root] Galaxy S2 SIM Unlock).Click SIM Unlock code, write it down, and once it asks for the code at reboot, type it in.If you want to root it,follow along.Download this file, and put it on your phone`s EXTERNAL SD! card. Now reboot into Recovery. In recovery, select "Install update from external storage", or something similar, and search the downloaded file.Install it.Now reboot. You don't have to wipe anything. That's it!

Thanks for your explanation, it is very complete. I made the same, but with a newer stock ROM (a 4.1.2 one), and I got it installed and rooted with PhillZ method.
The problem is that I cannot unlock the SIM: I tried with the program you suggested me, and it doesn't work: it brings me a code, but when I enter it, it doesn't work.
I tried other programs like Galaxy_S Unlock or GalaxSim Unlock, but I'm not able to get it unlocked. What can the problem be?
Edit: I "close" this thread and re-open it with a better explanation on the current situation and the real problem now.
Best regards

Noobie way how to restore your phone to original state

This is the easy way to restore your international G2 to original state like it was from the store.
This will wipe/restore everything including kernel, recovery and such. All your files will be gone too.
Here we go:
Make sure you have drivers installed from lg website.
Charge your phone fully so you dont risk anything.
Download mobile support tool from lg website.
Find your IMEI and write it down somewhere.
Now turn off the phone and then put it into download mode by holding VOL+ while connecting USB to phone (while the other end is connected to pc))
In the mobile support tool go to "more settings" (1st option in top right corner) and there select "upgrade restore" (3rd option)
Now select the second option and put in you IMEI and start
Now this will take verry long time while it downloads the firmware about 1.9GB and installs it on the phone.
After everything is done turn off your phone by holding the power button for a long time. Then hold VOL- and PWR to get in to restore mode and there confirm with power button.
The phone will reboot and you will see the welcome screen to put in your logins and everything else.
Thanks to the original tipster "wargreymon" on the swedish android forum swedroid. This is basicly just a translation. Have a nice day.
Does it work on the international model? Also is there any traces of it been rooted ever?
I don't want to have problems with OTA later on.

1) Read the first sentence in the OP as many times as necessary until you see your answer.
2) "Rooted" will disappear.

SM-G900T Tmobile recover is not seandroid enforcing

Hi guys, I am new to this rooting thing and android/samsung in general. I bought this Galaxy S5 as a gift for a relative in Vietnam because she is paying about $200 total in monthly payments for a Galaxy S3. I have tried searching the forums too but I can't find the answers I am looking for.
It is model SM-G900T Android 6.0.1
I can go into download mode and all that but the root files I have (ODIN)don't work, it just goes back to the "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" screen.
I think my root failed because I was watching tutorials on how to root it from like a year ago. I am trying to get a language pack for this phone so I can change it to Vietnamese. Can anyone link me the proper procedures and download links? I'll pay you like $20 in paypal if it works... Please assist, thanks!
Pull the Back of the Phone off, Remove the battery Verify you have a SM-G900T and not a G900T1 or G900T3. Look at the battery to see if it was Made in China too (as a precaution)
You need to Go back to the Stock ROM of the phone, Get Odin Version 3.11.1, ff you don't have the samsung driver already, get it, then get the Android Version you had-What ever baseband it was before you goofed it up. Put the Phone into download mode -Press and Hold Volume Down, Home Button, and then Press and Hold Power until you see the the Download option, then hit install ROM, Hook Phone Up to a computer and then Run Odin and select the ROM on the AP button
once that is done,
follow these directions to the T
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tm...l/root-how-to-root-sm-g900t-firmware-t3358190
.
You will need to do a carrier unlock to the phone to work in other countries since this phone is designed to work in the US only.
By the way we are not accepting any money here, this forum is free so the help is too.

Hey bro, is there a way to see which baseband I have if I cant check it on my device? If I can't, is it possible to try every stock rom until I get the correct one or will I just mess it up more?

since your phone is goofed up, I would verify if you have a SM-G900T or G900T1, etc go to sammobile.com and enter SM-G900T, T1 etc which ever phone you have, just grab a 4.4.2 Version, enter download mode and open up ODIN

Hello, sorry If I am being bothersome but I did what you told me. The phone boots now but it's stuck at the "T-Mobile 4G LTE" screen (screen before it goes into the lock/swipe screen). How long should it stay there?

if it doesnt boot up in 15 minutes, put the phone into stock recovery by shutting off the phone, press and hold the volume up key, home key and power key until it says recovery, once there wipe the cache and also do a factory reset.
then the phone should boot, leave it be at that point
