Hey guys,
I've a problem and it's driving me nuts. I've installed the SDK as stated on developer.ubuntu.com and can run apps on my phone from the SDK but no styles are applied because apparmor don't allowed it. The issue is already reported on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apparmor-easyprof-ubuntu/+bug/1477580 but they said they fixed it.
Phone and Desktop are up to date. How can I fix that?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I'm running RaduG's TastyGinger 2.0 on my Hero. Since NAVIGON Select isn't working with Android 2.3 ROMs, i've been trying to apply the libmedia.so - Patch which I found around here (sry don't know wo did it, think it was gauner).
Problem now is, libmedia.so has to be replaced - which I am, although my Hero is fully rooted - too stupid for
Tried several "root explorers" (except for Root Explorer itself which isn't free), none worked. So I searched for some pc-based solution, found Android Commander.
This requires Android SDK, no problem, downloaded... "This programm requires Java Development Kit"
okay, downloaded JDK 6 update 24, installed.
Started Android SDK setup again - "This programm requires Java Development Kit".
WTF? didn't I just install it?
Reboot PC - no effect, still same problem.
Does anyone know a solution to my problem? Am kind of desperate cause I want to get NAVIGON working, got no data flat so Google maps is becoming expensive.
Does not matter to me if this solution is PC- or handheld-based, just want to get navigon working
Thank You!
Just hit back and then next again.
tried this, didn't work. also rebooted system several times, but no luck ...
LOL ...this works! I had JDK, but thougth that my version is maybe old (it was't though). So I downloaded update 25 (was 18), installed it and faced the same message "not found" ...it was very funny that that it woks only if you go back and forth but this really works for me!!!
solved, with new version i was able to install without problems. thread may be closed.
I am new to the android programming and I am studying it through "Android Application Development for dummies ". In the book there is an example of Task Reminder app. The problem I am facing is that it is not showing the built in image ic_menu _add when run on the emulator. I am using Android 4.1.
I have tried everything that I could possibly do. I have run this code with Android 2.2, 2.1 as well but found same problem.
many thanks in advance
Hi everyone.
I've started a few months ago to develop android apps. I have an apk and to redistribute it to the user, I mount and Ftp Server with the apk file, and with a button the user can connect to the ftp server and download it.
I have done this already, my problem comes when installing the apk, that the system send me the following message.
Error analysis
There was a problem parsing the package.
I think it could be the version of the SDK but if I'm running the app it has no sense.
I hope someone can help me.
Sorry for my English that I know that does not help explain very well
Best regards and Thanks
This is Malware and a fix is available - this app must run on windows - I have "AllWinnerDemoFix-v0.61.7z" from unknown site.
I had the same problem and I got it from the Google Play Store...
read this very carefully...take out words dot, slash, and question mark - put in dot, a slash and a question mark after the slash...
www-dot-mediafire-dot-com-forward-slash-questionmark-vnilkhruda1mktv
the file is a 7z.
Also YOU MUST HAVE THE CORRECT Android Debug Bridge DRIVERS INSTALLED ON YOUR SYSTEM TO ACCESS THE ADROID TO START WITH . . . Find the Correct drivers! This is very difficult...most ADB DRIVERS DO NOT WORK FOR THIS TABLET.
I have no Idea, now, where I got these drivers from, but they DO Work for me. Email me without solicitation and I will email them to you.
File names:

Android 32bit drivers--20111201--This-Driver-WORKS

Hi all, there is a size issue with my android emulator. Apparently the screen size doesn't fit the design frames. The AVD i am using now is Nexus 5X API 25. I have tried with Google Pixel 2 as well, even tablets! I am really not sure why this is happening! Stackoverflow doesn't seem to provide any useful solution as well (I've tried most of it - E.G changing emulated performance to automatic -> i cant even change as the area is greyed out, but by default it is already automatic)
Under SDK Manager > SDK Tools, my Android emulator sdk platform-tools and sdk tools are checked, also updated to its latest version.
However I have no idea why it is not working, even when i reinstall the avd, or android studio as a whole. Please help!
P.S I cant share links here but the problem can be seen at google image when you search "android emulator size issue"
