Hi.
How can i upgrade again to MM if i returned to L to b180?

@wilu85 You can always force flash the Stock Marshmallow update(latest is B371) by the three button combo method.
Put UPDATE.APP in dload folder of your external sdcard.
Press and hold Vol UP + Vol DOWN + Power button the update process will start.
But keep in mind that your device should not be rooted in order to use this method, if your device is rooted, you have to follow a bit different steps.

My optimus L9 P760 is dead, if you press power button nothing happens, but fastboot is responsiv when using omap4boot. HARD RESET does not work RECOVERY does not work.
Any ideas?
try putting it in SW mode and flashing a KDZ
and how you do that ? VolumeUp + Home + Power . 3 sec later release powerbutton? that does not work.
Unlocked bootloader? If yes you can flash cwm using omap4boot and try get to recovery and use one of the backups from thread in general.

Well if the bootloader is locked there isnt much you can do about it with the current state of your phone. Theres a tutorial for it but you need to have a functioning phone.
The sad part is i dont remember , i have tried few thing like B_SmartFlashTool_Extern. B_SmartFlashTool_Extern can access phone but it says Magic number does not coincide, interesting thing is that i can activate LG serial communication for 2-3 minutes and then its trops ( Vol+ then connect USB , and i have to use omap4boot, just doing Vol+ does not do enything phone just connect and disconnect usb omap4430 )

No . You remove the battery, press hold vol+ plug the usb into a computer, press power, put battery back in and release vol+ when you see s/w upgrade mode

Hi.
I managed to totally kill my PLK-L01 Honor 7 by faulty flashing.
I had firmware version 140 installed and the phones bootloader is unlocked and the phone is rooted with TWRP installed .
I wanted to upgrade to marshmallow beta img so i installed the img (called update and its a zip file which i downloaded through this site) in the external sd card, restarted in recovery twrp mode then chose the update and flashed.
Now the phone doesnt even start...no bootlogo at start and not even shwoing battery charging when connected to charger.
Its as if the screen is burnt.
The only thing that i get is is after pressing the power button and holding it for some 30 seconds, i get a little little vibration, thats it... nothing else. I tried with pc connection and without but nothing happens. PC doesnt see the phone connected,.
Any ideas?
Thx
You probably need to rollback to Lollipop... see here...

Hi,
Did You try to hold power button only, for long time?
In my case this done something like hard reset once.
Maybe it will help You.

Hi, I also ever faced this problem. When you flash an update via TWRP, it will BRICK your device. You should use stock recovery to flash a firmware update.
I also try all method to bring back my phone but it failed.
What I do is I bring my phone to SC and they give new phone 1 to 1 exchange on the spot to me.
Good luck to you.

@Cosonic: your phone is most likely dead. i have no idea why so many people are able to root their devices, but have not the slightest idea what that means for ota updates...

Dear devs, I really need your help. After I flashed a pre rooted marshmallow with twrp, it showed android is upgrading as it should. However after completing the upgrade, it reached lockscreen and restarted. It keeps on doing this over and over again, sometimes showing android is upgrading, sometimes not. Other times it reaches lockscreen, other times it doesn't. This continued to happen until my battery died. I cannot turn the phone off, as soon as I connect a charger, it tries to come on. Even when I turn off with power + volume up, it still comes back on without my input. I can't boot into twrp to load my backup, I can't get into flash mode to use flashtool either. I am totally stuck and have run out of ideas. I am not a total noob and have flashed roms before. Hell, I rooted a device with an unlockable boot loader. I also don't think it's a brick or bootloop, because I've fixed a boot loop before. Please guys there's no Sony repair shop in my country so that's not even an option. I am open to any suggestions apart from sending the phone to Sony
This happened with me too. Simply power off your phone from the power off button where the sim card is(small red button press it using a pin or pen) .Then download and ftf of your choice i recommend download android 4.4.2 ftf and flash it as it is simple to root using toolkit and recovery is also easy to install then install existenz mm as its much better than the stock with xperia X features and has the latest twrp recovery. simply follow this guide but download the ftf of android 4.4.2 http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/03/1...peria-lollipop-using-xperifirm-and-flashtool/

how do i check the firmware of my unit?
Download for E2303 if this is your phone's modification, then flash with Flashtool. Do wipe of everything before that and beware that all data will be deleted, so hopefully you have backup already.

thanks my friend, i already downloaded E2303, but when i do bundle the firmware, it is not responding , im am using the latest version of Sony Mobile Flasher By Androxyde
one more question,
do the CDA# , Market and Operator of the firmware does not matter??
You can use for different market if your phone is not locked to particular mobile operator. Try to reset phone first on this order:
1. Power off phone
2. Press and hold volume down button
3. Press and hold volume up button
4. Press and hold power button
5. Hold all 3 buttons for at least 30 seconds
6. Then try to flash your phone again

You must follow the Instructions carefully mate.
1. Preparing 2 firmware stated by @rrvuhpg and take note the bootdelivery.xml to enable access to twrp
2. At fastboot mode upon flashing, your phone's screen will show a written success-ish
3. Volume - plus power button and after sony splash logo and a vibrate ,you may release the buttons if not, you're missing something in the Instructions
4. All credits are to @rrvuhpg
