Just bought a new Stratos and i am unable to get any data on VO2 max
I have tried - Outdoor running, Indoor running(treadmill), Indoor walking (treadmill), Indoor Cycling, Ellipticals
I have done it for 7 days
I see the Training Load information - says Optimum
I also see Recovery Time
I want to see the following (these are advertised features of the watch).
1. VO2 max
2. Training Effect
3. Training Load - yes i see it
4. Recovery time advisor - yes i see it
5. Real time performance condition
6. Personalized training plans
7. Real time coaching
8. Calories burned - i see it
How do i get to these information on the watch or on the app?
Please help.
thanks
jim
Training effect is shown on each workout in watch and app.
VO2max is calculated only if you do an outdoor run for at least 20? minutes with at least 75%? of your maximum heart rate. VO2max will be only correct if you are training running.
For a short and long term fitness indicator check out your resting heart rate.
Hi! I have followed the instruction from the Stratos manual, took a running session for more than 20 mins with the HR above 75% of the maximum heart rate. I have used Polar H10 as external sensor, connected to the watch and I also had bluetooth headphones connected. GPS was on and recorded precisely the trajectory. Unfortunately VO2max still shows „no data”. Should enable Huami Lab or any other feature in order to compute and display VO2? Thanks!
same VO2 Max problem
Hi, I've had this problem for a month now. I have entered all correct personal data into App re Height, Weight, etc, set activity to Running and reached at least 75% heart rate for over 20 mins, ended activity and saved data - Watch itself states "no data" and the App shows an updated date for that activity's VO2 Max but constantly shows a reading of Zero. This was working fine since I've had the watch until now.. I did update the watch to version 2.3.9.0 around the time the issue started, so of course it's possible it is a software issue, but I've struggled to find many other reports of this issue nor any solutions..
Can anyone help?
Many thanks

Corrupted data, maybe? If you haven't done yet, unpair watch and pair again, if it doesn't fix your problem then do it again but do *not* restore old data to watch when pairing again (it will reset all data on watch). You then may want to turn off the device for about 15s to make sure sensors are also reset and enable continuous HR for at lest 24h and use the watch while you sleep, this will calculate your resting HR and improve futire HR readings.
the firmwere shows VO2 header but readings are missing, this could be possibily because of the fact that gadget does not have built in hardware to measure v02! u would need to buy higher variant to see that reading! quite an old marketing strategy.

Hi all,
I like badly the hardware of the SGF2. I hate badly its software. Here, it is my list of bug fix / half-implemented features that need to be polished / new feature requests. Please, integrate your owns after my post.
1. in the same exact outdoor run (along a river not in a crowded city center), sometimes GPS signal is fixed within 15 seconds, sometimes it did not find a fix after 25 minutes (!!!!!??!?!?!??!?!)
2. exportation of runs to Strava and Runkeeper does not include heart rate data
3. exportation of runs to Strava and Runkeeper incorrect (Strava, RunKeeper and S-Health show different pace per km, some times as different as 30 seconds per km)
4. the running mode displays only one data at the time. You can swipe through total time, total distance, pace, heart rate and so on, but you can't see for instance, total time+pace in the same screen
5. the running mode pace is absolutely WRONG. I have been a long time runner and I have a decent idea of the pace I have. The watch very often shows a pace that is HALF a slow as the real pace or even worse (!!!!). Once data is synced with S-Health the correct pace is shown. I am wondering if the pace shown on the fitness band is mins per miles (despite being set to km).
6. during hiking the altitude was off by 100meters (!!!!!)
7. during rowing activity (I do some kayaking), simply the time is shown nothing else... I guess that if you have a specialized mode for rowing you could at least show the rowing frequency
8. no calendar app.
This thread is a good idea!
-For me the number 4 is important. ( display all data on the same screen: total time, total distance, average speed, heart rate)
-Having average speed during cycling/running
-when running/cycling, and having set a distance: display the estimated time of arrival.
Hi,
I have a new Amazfit BIP watch, and did a Treadmill training today. So I started treadmill, and cyled indoor for 30 minutes. When I wanted to end the activity, I got the message "distance too short".
Why does that happen? I mean, indoors I don't have GPS, and no real distance to run. How is this supposed to work correctly, and what am I doing wrong?
It relies on the pedometer/accelerometer. If you didn't move your arm where the watch was during the exercise, it won't measure anything. It's normal that the distance isn't accurate, you must settings your personal data (age, height, etc) correctly in the app, and calibrate the distance after the activity (Pace has this AFAIK, don't know about Bip).

You can find information about treadmill on this website. johnsonfitness.com.vn/en/danh-sach-san-pham/may-chay-bo.html
I'm trying to figure out how to use Treadmill Calibration correctly on my Amazfit Stratos. It seems its calibrating in the wrong direction every time I attempt to correct a runs distance.
For Example: I ran 3 miles on a treadmill yesterday, The Amazfit Stratos recorded 2.63 miles. I attempted to correct this by calibrating after the run. I used the calibration screen to input "3.00 miles" and clicked the green check mark. After I finished calibrating the watch changed the distance of the run to 1.83 miles? Instead of adding distance it subtracted it? Very confused... am I missing something?
This happens just about every time I attempt to calibrate. Watch always records about 1/10th of a mile low and calibration always appears to take mileage away rather than add it.
Are you using the correct units? Even though it might display "mileage" on screen it may actually be using kilometers if you've configured Amazfit app to use km.

Using miles, everything shows miles. Phone App, Activities, Activity History in watch and phone. Also GPS runs are correct. The only variance is when I try to "calibrate" a treadmill workout.
can you guide me how to calibrate it?
Anyone figure out how to fix this? I've been dealing with this on my Pace since July with no resolution. I have tried a factory reset.
Hi All.
I recently got an Amazfit Stratos and I am having a horrible time trying to gps track my outdoor cycle.
I have tried twice, and both times, the GPS just either:
*Intermittently records data
or
*stops recording gps data altogether.
Basic questions?
Urban areas and Woods... same issue
Urban areas are residential.. no high tall building
Weather was good on both occasions
Yes I am waiting for GPS lock
Heart rate and time measurement continue flawlessly (shows data for the entire ride). It's just GPS tracking that is totally weird.
P.S. It's not "drifting" or inaccurate.. it seems to only switch on the gps sporadically... recording "every now and then"...
No errors or issues reported during the activity.
Latest Firmware (Although last nights a new firmware popped up, haven't tried the activity with last night's firmware.)
Both previous activities was on latest firmware at the time. (Yesterday and the day before)
And the REAL issue for me really, is that my wife's Pace records perfectly on the exact same routes where my Stratos just can't get anything usable going...
I have logged "feedback" request with logs using the app, but have not had any response other than, thanks.. we may use your feedback in the future...
From my own conclusions, the gps works.. because when it tracks... the location where it tracks is accurate.. it just doesn't track constantly. See my attached screenshot of my last ride. (Where my wife and her Amazfit pace tracked perfectly)
Any Ideas?
Cant add the image due to post count... How do I add it to this post?
Have you tried factory reset of the watch? Procedure is to unpair it from the app, it will reset itself, start fresh clean and ask for a pairing.
After pairing it will load last 7 days of your work, while all other old data will remain in the app, on your Mi account cloud. What you will have to add separately are only the 3rd party watchfaces, if you have installed them before.
Strongly suggest you try this first, it takes 5 minutes of your time, and you will lose no data.

Thanks Nidza. I will surely try this. I have not yet as the watch is brand new. Upon receiving it It upgraded firmware 3 times from out of the box, and then I started using it.
I will give it a try, surely cant hurt.
Well what do you know. That factory reset seems to have done the trick!
Thanks!
Some points worth noting:
from the factory settings, a few watch settings did not pull through from the sync back to the app after factory reset.
Time format: My previous time format was 24h (Doubt that makes a difference)
Auto Sync: After factory reset, auto sync is off (I had it "on" before). Can't say if this actually causes any bugs to pop up? Maybe the watch tried to sync which interfered with gps functions? I used it yesterday with auto sync off and it worked well. I will investigate if auto sync on causes the GPS issue again.
Thanks again.
Hi guys, is it normal, that my Stratos's Gps show me the speed to much delayed. I checked it with my car, and the gps gets to the same speed as my phone's one, but maybe 10 seconds later. By skiing it can mean worse maximum speed measurement. It is like that with all the Amazefit Startos watches or I have a wrong one? Thanks for the answers!
It's not the same sampling frequency for a car as it is for a walking man. Watch gps do not need to detect non-human speeds, so there is a lower sampling. (Slower).
Same issue again FW version 4.2.8.0:
stops recording gps data altogether after a few minutes.
I've reset and unpaired the clock twice but the issue remains.
Any advice?
Hello, I have a problem with my stratos and I would like to know if anybody else has this problem or how to fix it.
When I finish my run and then sync with phone and open the app to check my run the finish flag on the map is not on the proper spot but 2-3km sooner.
For example, I run about 15 km but on 12th km, it sets finish flag but it continues to count distance, pace and so on further. In the app, it shows proper distance and everything seems ok but when I look on the map finish flag is on 12th km.
It seems like no issue at all but after uploading on Strava it cuts off everything after the finish flag, so it shows only those 12kms and nothing else. And this bothers me because I use Strava as my primary app to analyze my runs. Interesting is that no matter how long I run it always cuts off more or less the same distance around 2-3 km before the real finish.
I appreciate any help.
Go to Settings on wacth -> Activity reminders, set both to ON, save, then set both to OFF again (you must reset them).
If watch is running firmware > 2.3.7.0 then there is a bug when GPS signal is lost that didn't happen in the past. You may want to factory reset but do NOT restore old data to watch to reset all data, do the above again (also reset Activity reminders), make sure you get a strong GPS-fix before starting to record any activity. And to get better HR data, enable continuous HR for at least 24h and use the watch while you sleep to record resting rate.

Thanks for the reply.
I tried reset activity reminders but it did happen again. The watches are running on 2.3.9.0 and this problem first time occurred on 7th January. Is it possible that some update came out around that date?
About the GPS when I get a green screen which indicated good GPS lock and I start the activity it shows always altitude like -20000m and it takes some time until altitude becomes accurate but I always wait on the same spot till it's ok. Could that be a problem? Should I wait to start tracking even though GPS is ready?
After factory reset can I upgrade the watches to the current version or I should stay on some older one?
Reseting data will only erase the activity data stored on watch, it won't affect firmware. I'd suggest that you do the procedure above, and also turn off the watch for about 15s to reset sensors. And find start to record the activity as soon as you get a green GO, wait a few seconds for a stronger GPS fix.
Hello, I have the same exact problem on Amazfit Pace. It happens on Cycling and Walk and always cut the last 1-2 km of the track before the arrive regardless of the length of the ride.
I would try the suggested solutions but I can't find Activity reminders on Pace.

On the Stratos Activity Reminders are found under Settings > General. Not sure if it will be the same on the Pace.

Amazfit ended up replacing my watch for this issue. None of the fixes they suggested worked. If they are hesitant to replace the watch, remind them of the Satisfaction Guarantee slip included in the package when you purchased the watch.
I have the same problem on my Amazfit pace... So annoying!
Has anyone found a fix?

Hello, I have the same kind of problem.
My watch : Amazfit Pace 2.8.5.0
It happens only when the run is more than 15km
The finish flag is about 1.5 km to short.
The total distance is ok on Zepp App but it is not good in Strava.

Does anyone has a fix?
did you ever tryed a climb and see what the altitude map shows you?
I think my issue (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...os-3-2020-12-03.4033223/page-25#post-84231665) is because of that...

Hi.
First sorry for my english.
I have same issue. Zepp is the problem. GPX data from watch is ok. When it is updated to Zepp, data is ok.
But when you download the .gpx from Zepp (like Strava should), the latest data is missing in the .gpx
I opened a ticket at Amazfit but for them everything is fine.
In the screenshot below, we see on the left my watch's .gpx on the left and Zepp's .gpx on the right. There are 30 seconds of data missing.
