I been messing with this Goobang doo A1 Max for a few days. I flashed a bad recovery and I lost my stock recovery. I was able to start a "Tanix 3 mini" stock recovery from the flash card then using that recovery I flashed the Tanix 3 mini stock recovery on the device. Now I have a functioning recovery on the device. I tried to install TWRP. I can start TWRP by either doing an "apply update" from android recovery, or even by using the update&backup app. It goes in TWRP, I can flash stuff like magisk, but Ican't get TWRP to install permanently. Any idea how I can get a permanent TWRP? The Tanix stock recovery that I was able to flash was an .img. TWRP is a .zip.
Also anyone have the stock recovery for the A1 Max? While the tanix one works, the original one had remote support.

Hello. i just got a Note S (Mediatek MT6580)
I'll get straight to the point. After using SP flashtool to flash Recovery.img (TWRP) from and getting in the recovery i realised that touch doesn't work. Neither i can do anything in it due to lack of non-touch way to move in it. Once i tried to use mouse by OTG and i managed to flash a rom but after that the touch didn't worked in the system neither. So i had to flash back to stock soft.
Is there any way to fix it?

not much about recovery..
That thread was mostly on stock rom not the stock recovery..
you need to reflash the stock rom to get back stock recovery
But I can't whatever update or zip img I'm trying to install... Twrp is hindering it in some way because it's asking decrypt password... I tried to decrypt in every way by format system or wiping internal storage but it's neither mounting nor wiping not getting decrypt... I just want to get rid of twrp as it's not working in any manner for this device... Sideload is also not working... Please help to get rid of twrp first..
First unroot in SuperSU, reboot the phone. Then reboot to recovery and I remember that you will be asked if you want overwrite the TWRP recovery.
EDIT: I figured it out myself, for anyone else in the same situation: I downloaded the proper Stock Rom for my phone and just flashed it with fastboot flash, no custom recovery was needed. After that I simply flashed Lineage OS and it's working like a charm.
Hello, I recently switched back to an Android phone that's why I'm a bit rusty. I successfuly installed Resurrection Remix on my Huawei P20 Lite.
After realizing there is no Notch support I decided to go back to stock or switch to Lineage OS.
Now I have two questions:
1) On the OpenKirin page it says you need stock EMUI 8.0 before you apply one of their ROMs. Does this mean if I want to switch to Lineage OS I need to go back to stock EMUI or can I go from RR to Lineage?
2) I downloaded 'Huawei P20 Lite-ANE-LX1 8.0.0.144(C432).zip' from xda which is supposed to be the stock rom. In the instructions on here it says I need to install TWRP. However OpenKirin says their ROMs don't work with TWRP. Can I just flash the stock firmware with adb fastboot, like described in the OpenKirin FAQ?
So my question basically is, what do I have to do to go from RR with stock recovery back to stock EMUI?
im in the same problem.. my fone brick in twrp logo.... i dont know how pass this logo
You can use eRecovery to download the entire ROM, you need the stock recovery and flash it with fastboot (fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk recovery_ramdisk.img) then go to the recovery mode and download the rom using WiFi and that's all, as advice I recomend you always make a system backup in the sdcard using TWRP. Sorry for my bad english. You can dowload the recovery here

What file did you flash in fastboot, the full-ota file?
i am fiddling around with my old mate 10 pro and it has twrp installed and i want to replace that with stock recovery and i have flashed stock recovery through fastboot but its not sticking as twrp does something to patch stock rom from being overwritten, is there a way to reflash stock recovery back, thank you.
Hello, i have been trying to install lineage on my huawei p8, but it does not work really good (i have a compiled lineage).
The problem is: I cant install TWRP Recovery.
I have installed the right twrp image from twrp site and when flashing it via heimdall suite it says "100% DONE OKAY", but i cant boot into it. I always get into eRecovery using the key combination, and when i use android apps like reboot managers and boot direct into recovery, i also dont get into twrp.
