1. flash the exact rom that you have (stock) with odin deleting all and UNCHECK "Auto Reboot" in options tab
2. restart ODIN and the phone DIRECTLY to DOWNLOAD MODE (don't boot to recovery or rom)
3. flash a custom recovery
4. enjoy
(in case that the phone starts rom after flash, retry from step 1)
It works on my A7 2017, and a guy with an A5 2017 works too7
*I'm not responsible for 0x1 knox, incorrect recoverys or whatever you do with it, this is just a way to skip the 7 day wait.
Good Luck
Excellent! This is yours experiment?
Can someone confirm that it works ?
You can't flash custom recovery when RMM is locked
???
is too strange, that works some times, if don work try with other country rom or another android vercion, just be sure to don install the July pach that blocks Nougat bootloader (you can't install Nougat again or custom roms)
Hi experts,
I am using A520F/DS. When I bought the phone one year ago, the boot loader is U2, the Android version is Marshmallow (6.0). After updating through OTA to Nougat (7.0), I found that boot loader is U4, baseband version is A520FXXU4BRC1, build number is NRD90M.A520FXXU4BRC4. My questions are:
1. May I wait 168h without touching the phone to flash TWPR successfully?
2. After waiting 168h, how can I boot into ODIN mode? Switch off the phone normally then boot into ODIN mode or boot directly into ODIN mode while the phone is on.
I know to boot into ODIN mode by press Power+Vol Down+Home at the same time.
Thanks in advanced

After waiting for 168H, just turn off the phone and switch on download mode (Vol -, Home and Power). Uncheck the option "auto reboot" in odin, flash twrp, then just force the twrp before starting the system and flashing the rmm zip.
It is now 2022, so is this procedure still relevant? Also is it OK to go from phone on to download mode by using the command adb reboot bootloader ?

'fraid not. I have a A7 2018 and can only flash firmware with Bit/SW REV. 5 using Odin. Any other firmware, TWRP etc, fails.
Does anyone know how to overcome this?
But yes you can go direct to download mode using adb reboot bootloader.

Hello everyone, I am new here, and I want to ask omething, after I turned off my Samung J7 Prime (Trying to restart it), it diddnt restart and says "Custom Binary Blocked by FRP Lock", I have stock rom odin in diffrent versions, i thried them but they fail, I saw in one thread that you need to Reformat your device, but when I am trying, to go to recovery mode, It says Recovery is Not Seandroid Enforcing, I cant use Recovery mode, I tried download mode but its blocked by FRP Lock so I cant use or flash orreformat my device, I hope I dont get ****ed! Please help really need all your help! Thank you, Hope my phone gets fixed!
" It all started when I turned off oem unlock and rebooted m phone"
you have to flash a stock firmware for your device to fix this mess up, to that you have to download the firmware according to your device's exact model and flash it under download mode.
you said you cant access download mode but i dont think if there is a possibility of lock down of Download mode by frp. First Remove the Battery and place it back to make sure it is completely switched off then Try again to enter Download mode.
press: Volume down+home+power buttons simultaneously for 5 or more seconds until the blue download screen appears.
then connect it to odin to flash the stock rom you downloaded.
hope this will fix your issue.
hit thanks if helped..

Strange, if you have a stock boot image then why its still blocking it. is it a backup or you downloaded the image from internet. if downloaded make sure that it matches exactly with your device's model.

Wait, I will check, but just to make sure what kind of file should a stock rom be?

when flashing with odin you just have one file in the package ending with .tar.md5 all the images required like recovery, boot, system, etc exist in that file itself.

Hello all,
First of all, as a disclaimer: I am a total noob in this area. I just got my Ulefone T1, and tried to root it by installing TWRP and then installing SuperSU using TWRP. When I first installed TWRP, it worked and I got into the TWRP recovery menu. However, as the phone had to be wiped, I couldn't install the SuperSU zip anymore. I did a normal reboot to transfer the SuperSU zip to my phone, but when I then tried to turn my phone off and access TWRP, it went to normal recovery mode of my phone. As I wanted to start fresh off again, I went to the settings of my phone and did a factory reset silly.
Now, it is stuck in a bootloop where I can literally do nothing. I cannot access factory mode or recovery mode, all it does is just endlessly boot and turn off. I have managed to turn it off completely, but that's all I can do. Also, the battery is not removable.
Does anyone with a little more knowledge have a suggestion for me? Thanks in advance!
As an update, I got a suggestion to fully drain the battery, but that does not work either. I have tried connecting it to my PC, which is not working, but that was acting weird before. I guess it's just not possible?
did you work this out ? i am stuck in bootloop too ??????

I have no idea what software is necessary to do it for your device but you can flash stock rom, if it uses sp tool or something then download stock rom, use sp tool to flash it. Should be OK after that. As I am not familiar with this device I can't give you any other advice other than flashing stock rom.
Any solutions to unbricking/boot looping?
Have anyone found any solutions to unbricking phone??
Mine also did bootlooping after unlocking bootloader.
I was able to flash successfully but screen fussy and unreadable and not able to touch. I am able to hear but lines are on screen.
I have same problem, please, anyone help, I think I used wrong twrp image
Ulefone T1 Bootloop solution 2019.
I was able to fix the bootloop of my ulefone t1, just flash it with sp flash tool by following this guide:
1. Download the Stock Firmware on your personal computer.
2. Install the USB MTK Drivers (skip if you have it already installed).
3. Download and Launch the Smart Phone Flash Tool (SP Flash Tool)
4. Click the Scatter-loading button to navigate to the stock Rom you just downloaded.
5. Select the Scatter File from the extracted Stock Firmware on your computer.
6. Select the Download Only in the SP flash tool option
7. Click the Download button to start the Formating process.
8. Connect your device via USB to the computer>> holding volume + and volume – button of your device at the same time or holding power button only so that the flashing process will starting working
9. Patiently wait for your device to be formatted.
10. After the formatting is done, a Big Green button will pop up on the SP Flash to show that.
11. Unplug your device and boot it up.
12. If you have a boot loop after booting your device, boot into recovery mode and do a factory reset.
13. Voila, you are all good.
Very important step 8 of the guide.
I tried to upgrade my android version via TWRP and after few attempts I can't boot my samsung galaxy tab 2 in normal mode. It always boot in recovery mode using TWRP (doesn't metter if I use only power button or power button - vol. down). Wiping everthing didn't change anything. Tablet was rooted and it has original android version. Is something I can do to get it into normal mode, or I'm out of luck to day?
But from TWRP you have got the option to boot into Download mode .
Does this work, you can flash Stock ROM.
Sorry for that I didn't closed thread. I repair it with odin and flashing new rom.
Hey @All...
i get this device short time ago and think it is a very good basic smartphone.
Is there any chance to get a recovery and root? If doesn't thats waste of a good phone... and i must sell it
Best greets and wishes for 2021 !!!
Update...
Unlock Bootloader, in dev options now constant ON. This option now always displayed, also after flash stock firmware and factory reset! USB debugging is also on.
RMM state is checking
FRP lock is OFF
OEM lock is OFF
Think problem is Qualcomm secure boot stay always enabled!
Secure download always stay enabled!
I tried the method to patch the stock AP or boot.img via magisk and flash with odin to get root access. Only patching boot.img after extract them failed in magisk at repacking...
Patching the whole AP file works great!
After flashing OEM BL, CP and CSC with my patched magisk-AP.tar Odin shows passed and all succeded.
When i boot back to stock recovery, factory reset and try to boot the patched system it went till the boot warning with the kernel warning and reboot automaticly. At this point the phone gets a infinity boot everytime till this warning...
I tried this method to boot into the patched system...
"Press and Hold Volume Up + Power buttons, release all the keys once the Bootloader warning appears. You have to set up your device like a new device."
Every help is welcome to get a rooted Galaxy G8870!
Best greets from germany
Last update on my side!
Seems we can flash magisk patched boot.img/AP file. But no way to boot the device into the patched system. I think qualcomm secure boot block this...
If there's a way to bypass the secure boot we can get root, if not theres no way!
