Bootup/ Startup sound too soft - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there, its my 2nd or 3rd time posting so forgive me if i dont know how to use the stuff here.
on my Samsung phone, (Note 4) i changed the boot animation to a watchdogs themed one, but the bootup sound is too soft i could barely hear it, but the ogg file itself when i play is loud. Is there any way to increase the volume? Maybe editing a configuration file or something?
Thanks.

[Q] Cannot find a certain file in my system.

I'm running miui and for some reason, cannot find the file of the tone that plays when you use the volume rocker to adjust the ringer volume. I CAN'T STAND THAT TONE. I've looked in system/media/audio/ui, and there IS a file called VolumeAdjust.ogg, but when I played it it didn't sound anything like the tone i normally hear. Disabled that file anyways and the original tone remains.

[Q] Is it possibe to disable sounds when pressing volume rocker?

Guys, it might sound kind of odd but i'm trying to find a way to disable those standart android sounds (beep -beep-beep) when you increase/decrease ringtone volume from homescreen and elsewhere. I like the way how htc implemented it in sense (different tones) but i understand that it can be impossible to port them to SIII. However i'm very tired with those beeps especially when on higher range. So if someone know how to perform this trick please responŠ²
if you are rooted you can remove or rename the TW_Volume_control.ogg file in /system/media/audio/ui

[Q] Need help with screen touch sounds

I just jumped ship to the M8. I'm not getting a touch sound when selecting screen. Like when I press the app drawer button it doesn't make any sound or when I touch the on screen navigation buttons it doesn't make sound.
I do have all the sound boxes ticked.
Thanks in advanced for your help.
First, make sure your volumes are up. The "touch sound" is pretty quiet and subtle so if your volume is low you may not hear it. If that isn't the case, turn the option off, reboot the phone, turn it back on, reboot the phone. See if that helps.

I tried and I do hear a soft sounds and volumes are all the way up. Is your sound really soft? I would expect to hear touch sounds more easily like on past HTC phones and other brands for that matter.
Thanks

the ui sound is reallu quiet ,i couldnt stand it either coming from samsung so this is what i did to change it in case you dont know how
1.get the sound file you want for the new sound whether it be the samsung s5 plop sound or any other mp3 file and convert it to .ogg file
you can do it on line there are plenty of converters just look up mp3 to ogg conversion
2.place the file on your phone,
3.download a file explorer application i prefer root explorer or you can use es file explorer as well
4. open the file explorer go to where you put the audio file,i prefer downloads on the phone that way its easy to find
5.copy the file ,go to system>media>audio>ui,there should be a file called Effect_Tick.ogg
6.make sure you mount read write, press paste, now hard press on Effect_Tick.ogg and change the name to .old or whatever you want its just the sound file backup.if you need it in the future .
7.now look up the file you just pasted there and change the name to Effect_Tick.ogg then hard press and change permissions to on read check all boxes all the way down,on write check owner box and the rest blank, now reboot and you will have a new ui sound.it may take a while for the sound to come out the first time .if you need a ui sound file .ogg let me know and ill put one up on drop box hope this helps

Replacing Dialer droplet key press sound Galaxy S4 9505 Kitkat 4.4.2

Hello,
I have the above mentioned phone. International version. Rooted. I was able to replace the sound for screen and capacitive buttons with another sound than the horrible "droplet" Samsung sound, by replacing the. Ogg files in system /media/audio/UI.
I also replaced the dialer sound with another. Ogg file. Unfortunately even after multiple reboots, the dialer droplet sound for key presses is still present.
Is there any other way to replace it with another?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thx[emoji4]
Anyone?
You would have to change the xml to point to a new sound. That also depends on if the os is set to restore the files after a reboot

Custom .ogg sounds

I decided to switch out LG's lock and unlock sounds to the sounds from MGS V's iDroid. The only problem was that I only had the sounds in .mp3, so I converted them to .ogg and replaced the files within the folder which had the lock and unlock sounds.
It's all gone according to plan and the sounds work, but I've noticed it only plays at about 50% volume, regardless of the system volume I select (5%-100%). Any idea as to how I can fix this?
Thanks in advance!
