Upgrading turn my screen black and reset does not work
does anybody have a tip ???
Sounds like you are stuck in the bootloader. Reset your device, put it back in the cradle and restart the upgrade.

Having upgraded the radio rom version to 1.17 then tapped the "HimaGetDeviceData.exe" in the window dir, the xda2 went to rest itself then the screen display nothing but only stated "Serial.........v1.01.
Whatever I did hard reset or pull out the battery and sim card, the situation still exist.
Does anyone can help or else my stuff be a piece of iron .
Did you upgrade the radio stack only?
if yes...you can't just upgrade the radio, try to upgrade again with full ROM (OS+radio+ext ROM), it'll work, don't panic...

Since I have had full rom upgrade however only has the radio been upgraded. When I going to find out what problem was there my xda2 was initiating reset itself then deaded.

My M1000 crashed. Now it will not load windows. It will not reset (hard or Soft) . It is just stuck on a black screen which says serial on the top...and v1.06 near the bottom of the screen. Can anyone help? Is there another way to hard reset an M1000 apart from resetting the bottom and pressing power simaltaniously
You are in bootloader mode ... your rom is maybe corrupt ...
put your device in craddle and flash it
If you flash it, it should work...
TofClock is right. I have a similar problem with my Wallaby. It just won't get past the Boot screen.. You may want to use XDATools and flash a new rom to the Himalaya. You could cook one or dump one to a SD card from another M1000.

i began to upgrade with dcds 2.40 olipro hard spl and after the initial loading was instructed to disconnect device, after reconnting device i ran the rest of the programs rom and such and now i'm left with the 2.40 olipro screen will not reboot. i have tried hard reset and soft reset and even power camera and soft reset keys, nothing has worked yet. please hlep me figure this out and whether or not my device is bricked? also i'm runnig on the alltel network if it helps.

You're probably just fine--95% probability--Just go ahead and flash the radio, then flash the rom, and then see what you get.

I made so many search in the forum to solve my problem,but it doesnt work.
I have Imate JamIN, I did so many upgrades, and it works with me.
The SPL is 2.G4.4PDA (Hard SPL)
I installed The RUU and upgrade to transformer 1.1, it use to be fine with me before, but now when i reset or hard reset the phone, the screen is blocked on Loading OS with windows vista Background. IS it because of the Hard SPL?
When i do reset, The screen fade to white and then it will reset, I dont know the problem
So now when i want to run The RUU again, an error 260 that am not connecting the cell to pc....
i wish it was the 3 colors, it wont be a problem

Have you tried entering bootloader? Start up the device, hold the Comm Button and soft reset. That should get you to the bootloader screen at which you should be able to flash a ROM.

I had a problem here, need help.
I upgrade my dopod 838pro to Window Mobile 6.5.3, after upgrade it keep stuck on start up and just show start up screen, cannot turn on. I had try soft reset and hard reset still the same. Now the device cannot connect with ACTIVE-SYNC, then I cannot flash another ROM. Any Solution ?
I was having the same problem when i installed the WM6.5 titanium. Just hard reset it and wait a little lobger.
Try flashing with another ROM guys..
