download rsd lite, then download the sbf, turn your phone off and then hold the vol down button and press the power button. Next you'll see press the vol button down until you see rsd at the top of the screen then press the vol up button. Plug your phone up to the computer. Open up rsd lite and find the sbf file and click start.

I flash 198_7 because mine 198_6.
Trying pull and put battery, at first no hope.
Then i try connect to my PC, try to enter RSD protocol, and yes, it can enter RSD protocol again. I think it failed when on BP Passtrought because cannot detect driver.
Second try to flash it, it work.
Thanks for help.

Bricked D:

I'm stuck.
I cant get into RSD mode cause when I hold vol up it just goes into fastboot.
IF I vol down it just blinks and turns off...
What are my options.
Pull the battery then try to boot it normally, after a minute or so it goes into rsd mode

U can't sbf if u can't start rsd protocol
my bad
wow do we have a real one?
if I remember well it would always say failed to boot 2 and rsd would be available .
Is this a Dx2?
Apparently he is getting a failed to boot 1 ..I think I remember seeing this before.
It might be in one of the.older sbf tutorial threads...myabe the one by dag425.
It would be helpful (maybe) to know what was being done that caused this to happen.
Hopefully he wasn't messing with bootloader partitions and signatures or something. I think that would he just about the only thing that could hard brick us.

Could it just be hardware failure?

If u hold power and volume up it takes u directly into "starting RSD protocol "
it is the method I have ALWAYS used when flashing sbf
I am stuck here too! I only have two options:
1: fastboot
or
2: nvflash
I have no idea what the hell eather one does so any little help is greatly appreciated for this noob. Thanks in advance...
So I take it yours says "failed to boot 1" also?
Is this Dx2 or mx2?
And you are familiar w/ booting menu: pwr on wait 1/2 (or less) sec then vol down and keep selecting w/ vol dn then vol up to select . Rsd is last.
IDNK WHAT BUT A REAL BRICK!

Have you tried pressing VolUp , or both at the same time, or pressing the power button?
I think pressing them both or power will activate fastboot.
I realise that you asked for links to the fastboot files...but for sbfing:
Try these instructions http://www.droidxforums.com/forum/droid-x2-support/37159-guide-how-sbf-x2.html
Links to the files:
RSDlite 5.3.1 and 5.1 Windows 64bit and 32bit zip
Droid X2 Gingerbread 2.3.4 Motorola SBF zip file
key instructions at step #10:
With the X2 in a completely POWERED DOWN state, press and hold the volume up button on the top right hand side of the phone. While still holding the volume up press and hold the power button until the screen turns on. At the top of the screen you should see "Starting RSD protocol support" once this text appears you may release the volume up button.
Click to collapse
This should completely revert the X2 back to factory 2.3.4...(I have done this myself) and I believe this is the way they would do it at the factory.

Use your computer and download RSDLite, make sure you have the motorola drivers installed too. Then download the Verizon firmware from here: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/
Once you have all that set up.
Turn off the phone
Then press the power button, volume up button, and volume down button all at the same time
This will bring up a menu
Scroll down using the down volume key and highlight AP Fastboot
Select AP Fastboot using the volume up key
Plug your phone into the computer using a cable
Open RSDLite
Press the three dots (...) to locate the Verizon Firmware you downloaded
Press Unzip and flash
THIS WILL ERASE EVERYTHING ON THE PHONE

Blank screen after flashing SlimKat

Hi, I just started flashing for the first time.
I first did a root using EternityProject EasyRootICS v1.5.
Then I installed recovery Razr ClockWorkMod Touch 5.8.4.5 Black Edition and made a backup.
Then I flashed this rom ([ROM][4.4.4][AOSP][CDMA/GSM][Unofficial] SlimKat)
I did a clean install and after pressing reboot, it stays a blank screen. When I disconnect my USB, I hear the sound of a device disconnecting vice versa meaning my phone is still working??
My previous android was running 4.0.4.
Please help?

I've tried holding the power button and volume down button. It manages to restart and I see my motorolo logo, and once it finishes loading, it goes back to blank screen again. My computer registers the device connected as it plays the sound, but the screen is still blank! Any help please?

You shouldn't install CWM,you must install Safestrap or BootMenuManager.
I suggest you to go back to stock with RSD Lite and start over.

OMG Thanks for your reply! I've just looked into RSD Lite and I can't power off my phone... It is actually on, and when i press power and volume down, it restarts it! What do I do to enter RDS Lite?
Ok, I got it by holding power and volume down, and once it blacks out, let go of power button and hold volume up button..
Now onto RDS Lite, it's saying failed flashing process. 1/24 flash cdt.bin_signed -> Phone returned failed

They are limiting how many messages I can post, only 1 post every 5 minutes!
My fast boot file I used is Blur_Version.982.124.18.XT910.Fido.en.CA. Is it alright if the phone was bought from Malaysia?
